I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Teresa was so professional and kind. I have a hard time with needles & getting my blood drawn, I usually pass out or am lightheaded & queasy for a good hour. Teresa was understanding, talked me through the entire process, & made sure I was comfortable. She even stayed behind for a while to make sure I was okay before leaving. The service I received from The Mobile Vampire was disappointing. I had an appointment for a blood draw, and TMV was recommended by my doctor. I was given a price when I booked the appointment, but when she came to my house, she charged my credit card for more than the quoted amount. It wasn't until I checked my email after my draw, that I confirmed that there was a discrepancy. I asked her to explain, but she just shrugged and quickly packed up her things. I was very unhappy and felt like I was cheated by her highly unprofessional and dishonest behavior. Be better! Be respectful and honest with your customers and honor the prices you quote. read more

This couldn't have been easier - scheduling was super simple (just texted the main number and got an appointment set up quickly), the phlebotomist (Donyale) called me the night before to confirm a few key details about the draw and make sure I was ready, and she showed up exactly on time and was very professional. Depends on the day whether or not the mobile vampire will do right by you. But also she isn't very professional in dealing with a challenge. If there is ANY comment at all from you, insulting or not it seems she needs to bite back No pun intended. Like the other low star reviews I got the exact same treatment: a nasty comment, lack of a response, disheveled, gave me a tip to get my veins to pop...Which didn't work and then blamed it on me, when people can get my vein and i understand when it can be hard.... But she failed 3 times and that was it - she didn't try again. And she charged me anyway. I went to a clinic near me and they got it in one try. I endlessly explained someone else couldn't and now had anxiety about being poked multiple times... but boom one try, no heat warmers, no push-ups, nothing. So I feel like she just gets disheveled and can't focus. I get having bad days.. but she could hurt others and leave bruises. And then make snarky remarks all while drawing your blood. So it's up to you. She's more hit hit hit miss miss for me based on the other reviews. SO I'm fair... reading other reviews I think she can probably do a good job I just never experienced it myself. My big guess is that if she is having an off day which she may have often and you are hard to draw from then you get the not so nice mobile vampire. So 3 stars... but only because other people have had a good go with her so I gotta trust most of you are real and liked her. My experience was a one star though. I've had two experiences with this service. The first time was a couple weeks ago and the phlebotomist was at least a half an hour to 45 minutes late. When she got there she was nice but she seemed a bit disheveled and seemed a little unprofessional. I decided to use them again for some more blood I needed taken and missed the phone call from them to make the appointment. She called me back today and it sounded like she was in some tunnel. She was very casual sounding and said she could do tomorrow and then said "wait, no I can't". She did offer me another day but at that point I was put off by her unprofessional tone and the service all together and decided to Just drive to labcorp. read more

A few things: Phlebotomists should carry warm packs in the case of people with small or deep veins. I had to suggest it and was told to run my hand under hot water; low and behold they finally got a vein which they proceeded to blow out. When I made the comment "they always seem to get it at the hospital," I was told "do you want to go to the hospital?" Uh, excuse me? Aren't you paid to successfully draw blood? Left the house quickly as if I did something wrong by not being stoked at their subpar phlebotomy skills. Not a good experience at all. read more

This is by far the best experience I've had with getting my blood drawn. With this being my second pregnancy, I've had my fair share of labs done. Teresa has a fantastic hand at drawing blood. I'm a HARD DRAW (which means I'm hard to draw blood from) and Teresa easily and painlessly got my vein on the 1st try. My family is so Thankful for Teresa and her expertise. My 2 girls have extremely difficult veins to draw from. They've had several failed, traumatic experiences (being "stuck" up to 7 times) with blood draws before finding Teresa. She is not only TERRIFIC at what she does, but is timely, thorough and most importantly...KIND. My girls were amazed when she was able to get them drawn in 5 min.
