I didn't see a lot of smiles, and I know that you check in digitally so they don't really need to speak to you, but it would be nice to get a hello. As far as the service once you get in the room, it's pretty standard. They take your blood. They take a sample of what they need and you're out the door. There's a bunch of them so I might try a different location and see if I can find a smile.

She even refused to check if I was dilated and then told me that if I go into labor this weekend I should go to the ER for treatment. Wtf? if you don't like what you do, don't practice and make other PREGNANT women's experiences miserable. The Encinitas Scrippts office was miserable as well for my doctor's visit. One nurse wasn't concerned at all about my weight drop and my husband had to ask if the baby is ok and safe. It was really a huge let down to receive such bad treatment but at 37 weeks, there's no time to switch care or do anything really. THE WORST!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!…read more Let me start by going back over a year ago for this loser place. During my annual exam, my doctor sends over the lab work orders for routine blood work, which always includes a fasting blood test. I show up all fasted, and my orders aren't there. It happened to be when my grandchildren were visiting, so I opted to come back another time. The following year, I showed up again, fasted and ready to go. Guess what? They didn't have the orders AGAIN! I was told that I had to call my doctor's office to get the orders!! I'm paying them, but okay, I have to do the work to track down the order. I called. The receptionist confirmed that orders had been sent over three weeks before my appointment, but she had me wait while they faxed them, and she verified they went through. I guess they've been through this before. I returned to the receptionist, and she told me that she hadn't received it yet. I checked again in 5 minutes, still nothing. Again in 5 minutes, still nothing. After 20 minutes of waiting for them to get their act together, I left. I had the bloodwork done at a different lab that wasn't covered by my insurance. Another doctor gave me paperwork to take to them for some pre-op work. I made another appointment, fasted, and showed up with paper orders. I didn't pay too much attention to the orders since there was really one test that was a follow-up from an abnormal reading from the earlier test. I was given a urinalysis cup, but I didn't pay attention to the blood tests they were running because I couldn't do that. When the results came in the next day, the one test my doctor needed wasn't included. When I looked at my copy of the orders, there was never supposed to be a urinalysis. I suspect that the receptionist misread the orders and ordered the urinalysis (which was the item below the test I needed) instead of the blood test I needed. I say suspect, because I can't get hold of anyone to verify this for me (including my doctor's office). My entire surgery could be at stake here if I don't get that blood test, but I can't find out what happened. This entire operation needs to be shut down.
