One party platter and 6 pizzas was more than enough to feed everyone and I was able to bring my own cupcakes and pasta salad (you can bring vegetarian options). I covered the bar tab and it really wasn't that bad for a Sunday party. Make a playlist! They can hook up to Spotify so it definitely made the party more exciting with a themed playlist. Tip the staff! They worked hard to help make our day special so we made sure to give them 30% gratuity on food and drink. Wheelchairs can make it through the front door and into the bowling alley! I hosted a surprise party here for my husband's birthday, and it went off without a hitch. Adisa and Adnan answered all my questions quickly in the months leading up to the surprise, and because an event was not planned the night beforehand, they even let me come and drop off beverages for chilling. We had Aya Sofia (Mediterranean restaurant in South STL City) cater the party, and they did a fantastic job of coordinating the drop-off and pick-up of their serving ware, and the food was a hit. We had an open self-service bar, which guests appreciated but did get a bit crowded as a lot of people tend to gather near the huge kitchen counter where the bar is located. The facility does have one step inside, but the Atelier 1879 team has made their facility fully accessible with a portable ramp that fits nicely over the step. Adisa and Adnan have thought of everything! Parking was not an issue for our guests. It's a residential neighborhood and is positioned next door to Yemanja Brasil Restaurant (which is delicious!). I saw people with canes walking up stairs. This is not safe. Once upstairs in the balcony, the steps leading to each row are very steep and the step to the lowest row is a huge drop without any warning. I understand we don't want to destroy the character of this beautiful building but something must be done to warn people. Suggestions: 1. Warn people in advance 2. Fix the step to the bottom row of the balcony so it's not a huge drop Or, stop using this building for events, especially the balcony.

About half of us had done an escape room before, so we could compare differences to how Adventures of Intrigue worked. Here's the feedback: Adventures of Intrigue is really great for those that want to do an escape room without the heavy pressure/competition. Which for my family, is very fitting. It's also a WAY better option for kiddos, and seemed like some of the options were catered to kids, which is awesome. Our only complaint is we would have loved one that was really hard. The Save the Queen was rated as pretty difficult, and it still seemed pretty easy for those of us who do puzzles regularly! I don't want to compete, but I do want to be challenged. With that, the way they set things up was SO FUN and unique. Whoever thought of this has such a cool imagination. We loved searching around and finding all the little details. They did a fantastic job with setting the building up, I can't wait to see what else they add. After our escape room, we did an hour in the live video game room. They had cameras tracking our activity so we could pay games physically. Holy moly this place is COOL. Another unique concept that was a freaking blast.
