I recently found out while receiving an order of retaining wall blocks that this company delivers…read morefor lowes. Or at least they do in my area. The truck driver that came to my house was on time, polite, sincere, and a great person. He asked questions about the delivery, like where are you building the wall, so he could get the stones as close as possible. I already knew they weren't going to be close. He explained why he didn't want to take a heavy forklift with an equally heavy pallet across a sandy yard over sewer and water pipes. The way he explained it, it was if he was speaking like he didn't want me to have to go through the drama/trauma, not that he was afraid of being held liable. We also spoke briefly about traffic and people's lack of driving ability and whether I was the police officer or firefighter in the family. If all of this company's drivers are as polite, friendly, and safety conscious as this driver was, I would definitely recommend them to haul freight or deliver large items for your business. On a side note, I did look up their Department of Transportation (DOT) FMCSA safety profile, and overall, it really isn't that bad. It sounds bad, but when you stop to think how many hours people are on the road, it isn't that bad. Since may 2021 this company (annually driaves around 22.3 million miles per year, has over 270 trucks and over 275 drivers), has only been involved in 31 crashes in the US (2 fatalities, 7 injury, 22 tows), and 0 crashes in Canada.
