It had no chipotle flavor whatsoever and just have to assume they did not add the sauce. The peppers I ordered were not on the cheesesteak. They sent me the wrong soft drink with the order as well. Very possible I got the wrong order. The quality is awful, dripping with some much grease that the sandwich was falling apart. If that was actually beef in the sandwich it was very poor quality. All the photos online show the sandwiches exploding with meat, mine was barely half full. Fries were not cooked long enough and did not even eat them due to the unpleasant texture. After spending nearly 20 dollars after taxes, I was left very disappointed and felt ripped off by Pardon my Cheesesteak. More like Pardon My Cheesesteak sucked.

So when I say Taste of Philly in little Roanoke, IN actually delivers the real deal, I mean it. These aren't some sad Midwestern approximation with weird toppings and dry meat. They're true-to-the-name cheesesteaks -- juicy, properly seasoned, and put together the way they should be. The sandwiches are consistently great, the variety is legitimately impressive (they're not just phoning in the same three options), and the service is excellent and friendly without being over-the-top. The whole place just has that cheesesteak vibe -- casual, no-nonsense, and focused on getting the food right. Five stars, easy. If you're anywhere near Roanoke and craving an actual cheesesteak instead of a disappointment, go here.

Service was great, the kind of place where they clearly have their system dialed in. The caramelized onions were tasty, and honestly giving off a French onion soup vibe that might've overshadowed the beef. Sandwich was solid overall, though maybe I'd built it up in my head a bit too much going in... still good, just not quite the mind-blowing experience I was hoping for. Worth noting: no mushrooms on the menu . Would absolutely go back. 5 stars for the speed, service, and quality.

The sandwiches came with a choice of a side. My friend went with fries and I selected coleslaw.
