It was a bit loud in there, but a great experience overall. The bartender was very knowledgeable as was the server when we were sat at a table. It's a different approach to dining than I had ever experienced before but very enjoyable. The cheese fondue was delicious. Can't say anything less for the chocolate deserts!

An experience one should at least have once! We were seating in a spot that had a humming noise, so we asked to be moved and the waiter had no problem at all changing our seats. I really liked the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue experience! I did not realize the waiters made them right in front of us with the ingredients. It was neat to see them mix it all together and talk about what went in. Once all set then we got to tip all the food into the fondues! I felt like I could have skipped out on the main entree part of the meal. It was a longer process to get all the food cooked either in the broth or cast iron. During the meal, the managers also asked if we needed anything else. I asked for more artichokes and received three more small pieces that we were added to our bill for four dollars. If I knew it would have cost more I don't think I would have asked for it. I dined with three other people and the table only had two burners. We had to collectively decide what we wanted to have to share.

My girlfriends and I got together for a good time. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into this really cute spot. We were sat by the hostess and served by Spencer and he was great! We started with the cocktails and I got the old fashioned which was really good. My friends enjoyed their cocktails. For out fondue we started with the cheese and we ordered the Wisconsin Cheddar and the Spinach it came with some chips and vegetables and fruit. It was made in front of us! I wasn't a fan of the Wisconsin Cheddar but the Spinach was good! We then had the chocolate of the Pure milk chocolate and the Flaming Turtle. That came with the banana, brownies, blondie, etc. I really liked both but the Flaming Turtle was my favorite! I really enjoyed my time!

Had dinner here the other night with reservations. Got the 4 course dinner with a cheese fondue, a salad, meat fondue and a dessert one. Everything was delicious, great experience and our waitress was really good

The restaurant I visited seemed to cater more to a teenage hangout crowd rather than providing an exceptional dining experience. It was my first time there, and I was unsure of what to expect or the best approach for ordering. Unfortunately, the server who attended to us appeared to be quite inexperienced. They struggled to offer any recommendations for drinks and were unable to explain the nuances and distinctions between the various cheese options available. This lack of knowledge significantly impacted our order. To my disappointment, the meat I had ordered failed to deliver on taste after cooking it in the bouillon. The only way I managed to salvage some flavor was by resorting to dipping it in the accompanying side sauces. Nothing against "themed" places, but this one doesn't execute.

Melting Pot is more an immersive show with food included. We went for a birthday dessert for a family member and that's as far as we go. The cheese fondue is also good if you enjoy that. The dinner section of menu is not for us. I feel it's over priced and average for what you get. However, I will say that they are usually well booked so clearly a popular spot.

My boyfriend and I got reservations for this place the Sunday before Valentines Day. The vibe was nice, a little pretentious but really trendy and cute. The menu was a little overwhelming, as was the drinks menu. The food was good and well seasoned. The drinks strong and our waiter informative. There happened to be a family with loud children also eating; it just doesn't feel kid friendly especially with the hot grill. The restaurant is costly considered you cook your own food. The ingredients fresh. The drinks tasty. Many people checked on us, I think one was the owner. Sort of odd the bathroom was more apart of The Galleria and not The Melting Pot. Overall definitely nice for groups or special occasions!

Jersey shore restaurant week menu

My wife has been asking me to go to The melting pot for years, I have in as it was her birthday and Jersey shore restaurant week. For $40.23 per person I would give it a shot. The idea of fondue never appealed to me but here I am. We started off with a cheese fondue which included 2 types of bread, apples, carrots, broccoli and tomatoes. The bread was my favorite thing to dip. I chose to grill my protein and veggies, I had salmon, steak, shrimp and chicken. My wife went with the coq au Vin pot which was where her choices of protein were cooked. I found grilling the food was quite a bit more flavorful. Dipping sauces are included, some of them were excellent. The Gorgonzola and remoulade were my favorites. I loved the desert, the chocolate sauce with nuts was excellent. The strawberries, bananas and pound cake were perfect. I enjoyed myself and the service was outstanding. Parking is a breeze in the Galleria parking lot, the restaurant is spacious and clean.

The melting pot is a great experience! Came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary and we enjoyed everything we got. They sat us down about 15 minutes after our reservation time due to it being packed. Our waiter was very friendly and explained to us the different things on the menu. I definitely think this place is more for the cheese and chocolate rather than the dinner aspect about it. Next time, I would just stick to that. Overall, I enjoyed this spot.

I've been to this establishment many times and it's a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really good and sometimes not so much.

My wife and I had a stellar evening on a fancy night out…read more We split the kale salad to start, and then split the three-cheese fondue for our main. The salad was fresh, flavorful, and not too heavy; we were happy to start with something light before moving to the cheese fondue. The fondue was pure delight. Obviously at one level you can't go wrong melting a bunch of cheese together, but it was truly fantastic, better than other fondues we've had. If I would offer a mild criticism, I think the dippers aside from the bread (cooked cauliflower, cornichons, potatoes) were unexceptional - I would have liked maybe apples, raw cauliflower instead of cooked, and raw carrots or broccoli. But regardless we enjoyed every bite. For dessert we split the chocolate fondue, which was a dream. Here the dippers (bananas, strawberries, Belgian waffle bits) were perfect. I thought the waffles would be so-so but the waffles were flavorful with a perfect crunch to them. Our service was also stellar. At this kind of place one expects very good service, but my wife and I both thought that our waitress went above and beyond. Attentive without being overbearing, helpful with wine recommendations, great with a camera, and pleasant to talk to. I don't care as much about ambiance one way or the other, but it was a lovely setting, appropriate for fine dining. This is a great place to go for a date or special occasion and I recommend it to anyone.

You can sit at tables or the large bar, we chose the former. The service was very good, accommodating and friendly. The food was nicely executed. My lamb shank was tender and tasty. I sampled the steak and thought it was nicely cooked, loaded with flavor and also very tender. The brie was tasty, and didn't seem to heavy, which was surprising as it was deep fried. Staff were beyond friendly. Cons -- THE FOOD!! We had pork belly and duck confit appetizer. Pork belly was drenched in sauce and overcooked. Duck dish was good but was a spread and served with such a small amount of bread. Main courses -- presentation was terrible -- i ordered NY Strip with french fries and veggies. Hubby ordered jambalaya -- both dishes were served luke warm and looked as though they had been sitting. French fries were all tiny pieces as if they were at the bottom of the fryer. The steak was a poor cut. The jambalaya lacked flavor. The protein on the dish was all overcooked. Dessert THE Elvis -- sounded sooo delicious but was basically a spoonful of peanut butter. Even the ice cream they served with it could not drown out the overpowering peanut butter flavor. I did enjoy the cappuccino. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and he didn't even eat his meal. It was that bad. Sadly, one and done for us. I know they changed their menu so perhaps this is not their best lineup but I cannot forgive the terrible presentation. The price point for what they are presenting its insane.

I wish it wasn't just a special but a main stay because I'd definitely order that each and every visit. It was that good. I was apprehensive about the gnocchi since im not a big gnocchi fan in general but so many people have sung of it's praises so I decided to try it. Easily one of the best dishes I've had this year. The flavors were so perfectly balanced. It taste of the toasted sweet potato gnocchi was something I didn't expect but was pleasantly surprised. Kept it more simple for entrees because the starters were so rich and indulgent. We had the filet mignon and the steak sandwich. Both perfectly portioned and delicious. Ended with the stroopwafel cheesecake, it wasn't too sweet which was nice. The service was great, I love how the manger was so hands on and checking in with tables. There was an older couple nearby celebrating their anniversary and the manager came over and surprised them with a mini bottle of champagne and congratulated them. That really was so thoughtful! Great energy if you're out with friends, less ideal if you're trying to have a conversation. It gets noisy--no way around that. Service was solid--attentive without hovering, which is what you want when you're juggling a pot of mussels and drinks. Only knock: it's pricey. But to be fair, you're paying for quality seafood and a pretty unique Belgian bistro experience (and a massive beer/cocktail program).
