We went to The Melting Pot for Mother's Day & had a great experience! We had reservations & were seated promptly upon arrival! The staff were awesome & explained everything as it was my mom's first visit! They had a special Mother's Day menu that we were made aware of at booking, so there were no surprises on the menu! The food was delicious, but the atmosphere & experience made the day special! The restaurant was clean & our waiter was the best! Gratuity was included in the special menu, but he was so good we didn't mind tipping extra! I wish I could remember his name! Thank you for the experience! read more

We've been to several Melting Pots in a few different states. This location is just okay. We like to visit different locations whenever we are traveling. We arrived on a Sunday at around 3:15pm for our 3:30 reservation and we were sat right away. It wasn't busy at all. Our server seemed rushed and wasn't super friendly. We usually get the Big Night Out, but since we weren't super hungry we just ordered the cheese and chocolate. We got the loaded baked potato cheese and the banana foster chocolate. We have had both before and both were very yummy. I wish this location made the cheese in front of you as that adds to the experience, so that was kind of disappointing. read more

We do this annually for our granddaughters birthday and go all in with the big night out menu. Our fondue choices were the Classic Alpine and Wisconsin Cheddar with the California Salad with the Coq Au Vin cooking style, the Fusion entrée, and topped it off with the Ying & Yang and Dark & Dulce chocolate Chocolate fondues. Our server Cream was a delight she keep it lively and entertaining while attending to a party of 10 and helping us all make these decisions. The Melting Pot is dimly lit providing a cozy romantic atmosphere for couples. It's mostly the experience that your paying for,the food is good but for the price it's more about a special night out. The birthday girl enjoyed herself and that's really all that mattered for us. read more

We have been to a few other Melting Pot locations and have always had good experiences. At the Arlington location though, we did NOT feel like it was worth the money or time. Some of the tables had burners that didn't work and some had (after market) burners on top of the tables instead of built in. There were some things that seemed worn and just did not seem well-cared for in addition to the mis-matched tables. We called ahead to ask about the wait and they told us it would probably be less than 10-15 minutes. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday night but they were not busy at all and we were sat right away. In fact, it was pretty dead so we were confused about the answer we received on the phone. The host lacked a little friendliness, but not a big deal. We thought it was odd that even though it wasn't busy, they put us back in the far corner of the restaurant. Our server was a lot of fun, although I was uncomfortable at times. You know when you are having fun joking with someone but they seem to take it too far? I feel like there is a difference between a server being down to earth, cracking jokes and having fun verses carrying things over the line, making the experience uncomfortable. Overall the server was very knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed. They are definitely good at their job, I was just uncomfortable. Again, the restaurant was not busy yet the time between courses seemed slower than expected. I expected it to take a while as that is part of the experience, but time between courses just seemed to drag. The food was tasty, although I feel like for the price, it was lacking. For example, the cheese fondue came with plenty of bread, but each couple only got like 2 pieces of broccoli, 4 grapes, 3 tomatoes, etc. We probably could have asked for more, there were just lots of little things that all added up to a disappointing evening. I would not return to this location considering the bill was $392 for 4 people; we did not feel like the experience was worth even half of what we spent. read more

This was our first time coming to this business. We always knew what type of dining it was, but never took the time to go, mainly since our only child was still quite young and wasn't able and willing to enjoy it. That day finally came and my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, too. First off, (please take note to the management) our waitress was very informative, kind, patient, and willing to make our dining experience the best it could be. I really appreciate people who take the time, to listen to the customer, and are sincere to their needs and wants. Our server (Cream H) did all of that and really made our dinner be as pleasant as it can be. Our son (10yo) really enjoyed it as well. I really hope the management there really holds on to her. She is a shining star and does her job incredibly well. Second, the food is great. I felt the variety and servings were perfect. We did the four course diner and found it to be really fun. It was like reading a book or watching a movie. An adventure, an experience that is not something you get to do every day. Third, the dining areas were great as well. I had a feeling the tables would have some form of heating, but it wasn't very obtrusive. I would be cautious having young children though with curious hands. I'd have to say though, our server was the leading star of the show. You could tell she knew what to suggest and she did well. She earned a well deserved tip. Thank you, Cream! read more

The best part about our experience was the service. Daniel was so helpful and kind. The food wasn't half bad either. We stuck to the cheese and chocolate offerings. We shared the spinach artichoke fondue and wanted more, so we ordered the Classic Alpine. Both were very tasty. For dessert we shared the Flaming Turtle. The pound cake dipped in chocolate was my favorite. All in all, a great experience I'd love to enjoy again. read more

Outstanding Service! We had an excellent experience thanks to our waiter, Rob. From the moment we were seated, they were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. They checked on us often without being intrusive and made great recommendations that turned out to be perfect. Our drinks stayed full, our food came out just the way we wanted, and the entire experience felt smooth and enjoyable. Rob's professionalism and friendly attitude truly elevated our visit. service was nice from the servers and host and bartenders but that's where all the good stops, food was bland and overpriced for what its worth cheese was okay chocolate was good but I have a sweet tooth. Now the worst thing was the manger she was Very rude not just to the customer aka us, we had a complaint about the food and she was rude and condescending to us and we also could hear her yelling at her staff right out in the dining area will not be back read more

My husband and I recently visited the Melting Pot in Arlington, TX. We sat at the bar and received 5 star service from the bartender Savannah. The manager Tara stopped by to ensure everything was going well with our dining experience. Hands down, the customer service shown by both of these ladies has made our experience at the melting pot unforgettable. We most definitely be back soon to dine with them. read more

When it comes to rating on Yelp, it always says "How would you rate your experience". And if we're judging off of experience, I'd have to give this place a 4 out of 5. This was very delightful way to have an easy and laid back dinner. This experience was a fun way to spend time with your loved ones, and was very eventful. I would definitely recommend. Each course brought delight, however, when it came to taste I would say the Cheese was my least favorite. But the Chocolate and Entrée were spectacular. My only note is when they clean up for the final part of the meal (the chocolate) they took all of my drinks! I was not super happy about that. But I did not let that ruin the Experience we had. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Wonderful environment! Such a fun concept for a fun dinner with family and friends. Been here with my boyfriend's family and the service was spectacular. Most definetly not a meal for small kids to attend with the hot plates being right on the table, but great for date nights! Unsure on the food itself as i've only ever had the dessert and appetizers, but absolutely lovely service and wonderful food. Would return! read more

I have been going to various The Melting Pot locations since 2006 (Milwaukee, Ann Arbor, Baltimore, Harrisburg) and frequenting a few of them quite often. I must say the Arlington, TX location was the worst experience we've had so far and I would have been embarrassed to send someone else here on my recommendation. We had 2:00 reservations and waited about 20 mins to be seated. Once seated it took about 10 mins for a server to come to our able. Then another 15 mins until we got our drinks. They were out of 2 different drinks my husband asked for so he settled for a 3rd choice. With all the time we had waiting we knew exactly what we wanted when we eventually were able to order. All that to say it took an hour after our reservation time to actually start our dining experience. Fun fact: if you enjoy the presentation of making the cheese fondue in front of you, this location no longer does it. They just bring the cheese out already melted. That was a disappointment as our family enjoys seeing the fondue come to life in front of us. There were so many other things that went wrong with the customer service element of this experience. Our waiter at one point did tell us he was new and only started 2 weeks prior however that is even more concerning that he should have a lot of training fresh in his mind and completely missed so much of why people go to Melting Pot. While I have been such a great supporter of this restaurant for many years now I am going to struggle to go back. Especially to the Arlington location. Very poor. The food didn't even come out u read more

Food as always was amazing. 2 1/2 hours seemed like 30 minutes. We loved "lovers lane" and would highly recommend for a date night.

Yeah host team needs a little bit of an attitude adjustment. Would give more stars but the two hostesses could have helped me understand vs just saying no, sort of a turn off to a first time visitor So just be aware. Rude first impressions ... On the other hand Dakota as a server was great... Explained everything, made recommendations and explained what he was doing so we can enjoy the experience Started with the Wisconsin Cheese dip with bread, veggies, and apple Next the salad , small plates Then the entree, we went with the wine based broth, and decided to keep it simple Went with the meat plate of chicken, shrimp, beef and salmon. Comes with veggies .. Desert, was OMG, so have fun read more

It's my second time visiting but I still get confused with how everything works here lol My server Alan was very nice. He was working hard to service my table and the table on the other side of the divider. He also answered all of our questions and gave good recommendations. The atmosphere was very peaceful with just enough background noise so you can have your cute, private conversations with your date without feeling like others are listening in. Food was good. We got the Big Night Out Dinner for Two. I think the only thing that was meh was how long it took between courses for us to get the food. By mid-entrée, I didn't feel like eating anymore. ALSO, my bf got a reservation and added a rose package but it turns out $15 only gets you a single rose in a vase so like... don't do it. It's not worth lol read more

Went here for my birthday and it was wonderful. This place has an amazing dining experience! Perfect for a date night or just a unique and special meal. had a wonderful time, our server was thorough in his description of each course and patiently answered all our questions. They have a four or two-course meal. we ordered a grand margarita. With their 2-course meal which includes cheese fondue, salads, main course, and chocolate fondue) it also includes the lobster tail but there is an upcharge of $9.00 and called a bigger night out. we choose their classic alpine, melting pot house, and create our own, yin&yang. The whole dining is about a 3-hour experience fondue and you can boil the main course yourself the service was also quick. it was expensive -$200 (tip included) for 2 people, but it's an experience. Overall ambiance and service were good. read more

We went with a party of 12 for a birthday. Our server, David, was very attentive and entertaining. We were there for about 3.5 hours. We weren't in a hurry and enjoyed visiting between courses. The food and the atmosphere was great. Very intimate setting for date nights and it really encourages connection with your company. On your first time they give you instructions on how to operate the stove, fondue and broth in front of you when you order. Very fun and active way to basically eat charcuterie and fondue. We got the Big Night Out special which is made for two but a third can be added for the additional cost. Best way to try everything in the menu in one sitting. Worth the cost. read more

*This review is based on our meal ordered off the a-la carte menu, we did not order from the "experiences". Visited on Thursday for a family friend's birthday and was shocked at the price-to-food ratio. My spouse and I ordered the Quattro Formaggio for the cheese fondue which arrived with slices of bread, apples, and broccoli. Unfortunately, the uncooked broccoli did not go well with the fondue (steamed broccoli would have added a star!) and the apples may be for a specific palette-but not mine. The bread would have also been tastier for dipping if it were toasted. For the entree, we decided to share "the Classic" which contained your standard shrimp, pork, teriyaki steak, regular steak and chicken. Each meat arrived with about 4 pieces to try. We used the Coq au vin broth for cooking as recommended by the waiter. The food was alright, but nothing exciting. The teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki steak did not seem to make it in the broth we cooked it in and the regular steak was coated in seasoning which was also lost to the "broth pot". The red wine in the broth did turn the shrimp a pale purple color that left us puzzled as to when the shrimp was done cooking. Personally, I am not a fan of cooking my own meal but it seems this dining experience is centered around the do-it-yourself aspect. We ordered the Love Martini and the modern old fashioned. These were each EXCELLENT- the Martini being light and fruity and the old fashioned being sweet, tart and smoky in all the right ways! For desert, we chose the Bananas Foster which was delicious with the assortment of fruit provided! Ultimately, the price for our single entree, drinks, fondue and desert totaled nearly $150 which seemed astronomical considering we only purchased a single entree. While the setting is dim and elegant, it seems this restaurant is more for the experience than it is for the food. Due to the price, I will be passing next time! read more

Love this place! Came here with two adults and two kids on a Saturday night. One thing that's great about Melting Pot is that since almost all the tables are a booth, you have a natural barrier between your party and the party next to you. During covid times, that is important to me. Love that they had an option for kids. $30 gets them cheese, entree and chocolate. For cheese we got Wisconsin Cheddar which is definitely the best one! Salads were Caesar and California -- both amazing. Entrees we got Pacific Rim and The Classic. Especially loved the teriyaki sirloin with the teriyaki sauce and the chicken with the curry sauce. For dessert the kiddos got yin and yang (half white chocolate half dark chocolate) and we got pure dark chocolate with Bailey's and it was SO good!! This is a bit further than the other location but we'll definitely be back! read more

Service is great. It is certainly a pleasant experience coming here. Having been to the melting pot 4-5 times for dinner, I think we will most likely come back for just the dessert now. They changed their sauces and it completely changed the experience. How can you have shrimp without cocktail sauce? They had the best cocktail sauce but now instead they offer a mustard sauce?! Who wants mustard with shrimp? They also changed another sauce and replaced it with one that didn't pair with any of the meats. If you want me to boil my own food leave what works. I would go here at least 3 times a year but will not go back. read more

Review: The Melting Pot has been around. However, I've never tried it until today. The vibe, music, staff and price was good. However, the food was mediocre to me, I should have taken my Cavender's Greek Seasoning. Regardless, of how the food taste the experience was fun. One of my absolute favorite places to go! You have to make a reservation though, ESPECIALLY on the weekends. The servers are amazing and very helpful if you have any questions. The environment is so nice with low lighting, a very romantic setting. The food is amazing!! My personal favorite is the teriyaki steak from the entrees. Food is good & fresh and the new dining style experience is interesting , but what's disappointing me is the attitude of the waitress. She threw attitude at our table because one of my guests was hesitant about ordering. We are all first-timers, which made me embarrassed since it was my birthday party. Additionally, I don't understand why, when spending an average of $80-100 USD per person, all the guests at my table had to get their plates from the waitress's hand. This surprised me, as other restaurants usually put the plates directly on the table for you. It's also took long for each course, even though the restaurant kinda empty. Hope they will train their employees well so we can comeback read more

Absolutely love the ambiance at this establishment. The booths are far enough apart to have privacy and dare I say , even romantic vibes . I'd highly recommend splitting a "Big Night Out " if there's two people . It's 4 courses of delicious cheeses, desserts , entree , and salad . Dessert was of course my favorite! See the pic I posted for reference. Amazing chocolate fondue and several options to dip with like rice krispy treats , moist cake , brownies , fruit and more . Yummy ! It is worth mentioning that your steak will need to be cooked by you .. yes you cook your own protein but it is yummy , easy and worth it ! Highly recommend read more

The Melting Pot - Dessert ( Pure Chocolate Fondue ) - Fondue Near Me - Arlington, Texas

I've been here twice now and have also tried both Simply Fondue locations. In my opinion, simply fondue has more options and is better in the sense of bang for your buck. Both times ive been to the melting pot our waitresses have been under 21 which has been strange because they arent able to make alcohol recommendation (and I thought werent able to bring alcohol orders either but they did bring them out). Our martinis were filled super full and were difficult to drink at first, also spilled a little bit. Most recently (in May) we ordered just cheese and chocolate (green goddess cheese and turtle chocolate - both delicious) our waitress was only 18 and seemed distracted while serving us. She stirred our pot so aggressively that it spilled out multiple times and there was no acknowledgement of this. My friend and i ordered 2 drinks each, cheese, and chocolate, and intended to stay for a few hours to chat but multiple times we felt rushed by our young server who asked us multiple times if we wanted anything else or the check to which we said no we were still working on our cheese/chocolate/drinks. After 2 hours though she ended up bringing the check anyway and dropped it off in passing. This was strange because the restaurant was mostly empty (it was a Monday night) and we had said we didnt want the check because we may have ordered more drinks. But after receiving it as she walked by we felt like we should just pay and leave. So we did which kind of felt awkward. Definitely go to simply Fondue instead, they also have a $60 dinner credit groupon for $30 right now! read more

This was an awesome experience. Went with two friends and the food was excellent! The service was exceptional.

I was surprised of my encounter tonight. Tonight was mine and my husbands first night out since having our baby 7 months ago. Yes... that's a long time. It's rare we have help with our child and we are also from a rural area so we traveled to have dinner here tonight. I planned ahead with reservations. We arrived a little earlier than our reservation time which is fine I wasn't expecting to be seated before but to have to wait 30 minutes after my reservation time was a little ridiculous in my opinion. The host is clearly standing at the stand on her phone. She opened Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram just scrolling through them as more people came in. We were finally seated and even our server was not attentive life I had assumed a server would be selling such a pricy menu. To have a ticket as large as we did and to not have had our server bring our drinks we order or to leave our pots burning once empty felt very unprofessional and to make comments such as "I'm sorry I was stuck with another table" just felt inappropriate. This is the first night out I've had with my husband in a long time and I was honestly hoping for better service. To top off the night upon leaving the one stall that wasn't out of order in the woman's bathroom had no toliet paper and the toliet liner holder upon reaching into it to grab a toliet liner I pull out a bloody pad.... No toliet paper, contaminated bloody pads in the toliet liner... I'm just disgusted and after nicely speaking with management I was offered 5 chocolate dipped strawberries and a $25 off after spending over $200.00. I am highly disappointed and insanely disgusted. I do not believe I will be returning and I believe that only having one operating woman's stall and 2 men's stalls isn't big enough for the amount of seating in this establishment. read more
