I used to regularly visit the Irving location, but after dining at this Outback, I can honestly say the experience here was on another level. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and professional. Sharron made our entire experience phenomenal and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. excellent customer service. Can I also mention how Great these cooks here areeee. Will definitely be my new location! read more

First time at this location. Walking in, the decor and atmosphere felt like I was walking into the 90s. Aside from that, our waitress was really nice and accommodating. I ordered the Bloomin Fried Chicken, which was really yummy and worked well with the sides I chose. My bf got the Bloomin Burger, which was also good and juicy. Overall, really good food. read more

People hate on outback a lot just because of the stereotype chain restaurants get. Is Outback gonna have the best food? No. If you go there thinking that you're an idiot. But what they are is reliable. I got the 8oz Sirloin and Coconut Shrimp and it was like a 7.2/10. Still good though. Could I make a more flavorful steak at home, maybe. But the coconut shrimp was pretty good im ngl. The service is what gives this a review a 4 star. Constant service being provided, water refills, bread, etc. Ambiance is what youd expect at an outback. overall, w experience, dont expect anything crazy but its a good meal. read more

My wife and I will come here every now and then to enjoy a quick steak. The ambiance is great for catching up with old friends. And the food tonight was excellent. The fried mushrooms and the sirloin and grilled shrimp paired perfectly tonight. Our waiter also was a treat and was very attentive and helpful. It was a great experience! read more

My party had...a Fully loaded baked potato, a kid mac and cheese and a chicken pasta. No complaints. The staff sang a unique version of HB to the birthday girl. Our server was amazing, I believe his name was Joe. Funny, cute, knew the menu, had great suggestions, and was a pleasure all night. read more

I had the chicken tenders. I ate one out of six. It was barely edible. The sweet potato was small but good and I did like the salad.

Dinnertime and Outback never fails up. We love getting to Outback before the "heavy" dinner run starts. The hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us immediately. By the time we left, the dinner run had started and there was a "wait." We were so happy we arrived when we did. My wife never varies from her order, Victoria's filet, baked potato and a salad with oil and vinegar. Today I ordered the crab legs special with a top sirloin and a baked potato. I started with a regular salad with Bleu cheese. Our server brought our drinks and a mini loaf of Outback's awesome bread. We always have to watch ourselves that we don't eat TOO much bread. Salad was served in a cold "crisp" bowl. After a short wait our entrees arrived. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes were meaty and piping hot. One failing is the restaurant doesn't have little "crab forks" in order to "fish" the meat out of the claws. Unfortunately, there was a lot of crab meat left in the shells. Next time I order crab, I'll ask beforehand if the restaurant does have the proper utensils. read more

The steak an lobster combo is solid for a chain! The price point was reasonable for $35. Service was nice, water was refilled, check came relatively quickly when we needed it. I have not been to Outback in a while and forgot what a solid staple it was. Cocktails I noticed that they had an all-day fixed price for about 10 different cocktails which was $7. read more

Food quality and portions have tanked. Was sorely disappointed during last couple of visits. Texas Roadhouse has better tasting steaks at a far better price. Outback is overpriced, especially given the quality of steak and lobster I received last visit. Used to go specifically for Fosters Oil Can Beer. Was told they don't have them any more. Their rewards program is also laughable. Another reason for me not to return. read more

I'm surprised this restaurant only has 3 stars average. This was a Sunday, and the place was packed, so we sat at the bar. I had a bone in rib-eye steak and steamed vegetables. Good food and really great service! Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoy steak dinners.

Outback is outback. It's a chain restaurant that serves okay food. Stopped here just cause we wanted to sit out of traffic for a bit. The host was on the phone when we got there then after a 5ish minute wait we were set, where he then proceeded to give us way to much info as to why he was on the phone. We got an app and ordered off the lunch menu. Our waitress was great. It was legitimately overly cold in there. To the point I was shivering. Our meals were disappointing but I shouldn't be surprised since as I stated it's a chain restaurant. One bright point was I upgraded my side to the wedge salad and it was actually delicious. The restaurant was also very clean. read more

I had a bad experience a few weeks ago at Outback and I contacted the manager who was very polite and said I was going to get some reciprocation so the other day I got a couple gift cards from Outback, which is very nice and very generous . When I went to use them today, they are dated to expire December 30, 2024 and neither one of them is valid. So I don't know what's going on at Outback but they've got gift cards that they're sending out to customers who have a bad experience and they're not valid . I guess I'll just send this to corporate. read more

Beat takeover experience by far. The server was so nice and courteous and ensured I didn't leave til I had fully checked each bag.

They do not have an option to add side sauces when you order online, doordash, or uber eats. No biggie! But we like extra sauce! So I added an extra side of fries to our order (which you also can't add instructions when ordering online) and called the store to let them know we don't need the extra side, but to instead just add extra ranch that way we were still paying for it! The first girl who answered sounded like she was miserable. I've been in the service industry for 8 years - from counter service through management. I would be appalled as a manager hearing the host answer phones with attitude from the jump. She picked up the phone by saying "Uhg. Hello? Oh, Thank you for calling Outback" My jaw was on the floor. I was then transferred to Togo and the girl there was very sweet. Unfortunately there must have still been a lack of communication. Then we get our order and .... no ranch :) and no side of fries so it wasn't even a misunderstanding. Outback has been a long standing celebration meal in our family for over 2 decades. It's so disappointing this is our first experience with this Outback after moving. read more

COVID update: Servers are all wearing masks, even though it's a busy weekend, I didn't feel overcrowded. I say do what makes you comfortable. Our booth was far enough away from tables, high walls, & the restaurant is very spacious. Pro Tip: On special occasion days, like today, call several days in advance to secure a call ahead spot. I called Thursday for a Sunday spot and waited 5 minutes once we showed up. The wait was an hour if you didn't call ahead. On to the review; our server was excellent! He was super attentive & brought us anything we wanted. They have so much variety and to me the have the best sirloin. I'm partial to ribeye but I very much enjoy their sirloin. Their steakhouse mac and cheese is delicious and extremely cheesy. As in grab a fork-full and you will have the stringy goodness of cheese for days! Yum! Every table is served their warm bread and butter which is always delicious, fresh, & great to share as an appetizer! We chose as an appetizer the coconut shrimp which I feel you can skip. They have much better options for appetizer so skip these and maybe grab their classic blooming onion. We had a wonderful experience and I felt like I could ask for anything and everything came out wonderful! Oh! & my steak came out cooked perfectly to a medium rare! That never happens! Thanks Outback Arlington! Extra tip: There is a lot of shopping really close by. If there's a long wait, get on the list & then go shop around. This can help the time pass by. Maybe head back 15 minutes Prior and they text when your table is ready! read more

Love this place. We came back again. Great atmosphere and great selection. Staff is always friendly.

I ordered off the lunch menu and got the 6 oz filet mignon for $22. It comes with your choice of 2 sides. Some of the fancier sides have an up charge, beware. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out med-rare. A coworker ordered med-rare and hers came out rare. Apparently they were having a little trouble in the kitchen. She sent hers back twice and then gave up. I ate mine anyway. My filet mignon, it was not as tender/melt in your mouth, as I would have liked. It was still a decent steak, just not was delicious as I was anticipating. At the steak places I usually go to, I'm used to having a pepper crusted option or a mushroom option. Those are my favorite two things with steak. Outback has neither of the two, so I opted for a garlic butter sauce on mine. My sides were prob the best thing. I got the mac and cheese and the cheesy broccoli. They do not skimp out on the cheese! I would definitely recommend these side dishes! We got the fondue for dessert. Its new on the mine and It's really good. It comes with blondes, brownies, and fruit. You get chocolate and some type of cream to dip the goods into. The flavors and fillers where similar to that of your typical fondue place minus the hot pot. Overall, the food was good. Just not the best ever. Now that I eat more steak, I can say outback is not one of my favorites for steak. read more

Phillip was very nice and offered great customer service. He kept me updated on the status of my vehicle.

Enjoyed our lunch here today. Hit the spot, fresh and delicious lobster, shrimp cooked perfectly and the blooming onion is just so yummy! They have a Tuesday tails deal where you can get lobster tail and steak starting at $24.99, that's the 6 oz steak, for $2 more dollars you can get the 8 oz, that's what my husband had. Great service! We had dinner tonight at the Arlington location. We had a great dining experience with a really great server--Noa. She was friendly, eager to serve us and efficient. We've been here before, and it wasn't a good experience. Reason we decided to give it another shot, is because wait time at nearby eateries was three times longer. Also, because we have a couple Outback gift cards we didn't want to pass on to any decent being; karma. Long story short, twice the staff brought us beverages that was not ours, yet served our order to another table. Food was ok, very salty to say the least. Just don't think they get it. The Bun Head manager at this location needs to go! Yes, he had a man bun, so I'm not name calling, but I do hope corporate reads these reviews and will know exactly which child I am talking about. bonehead has no clue what customer service is. Bun Head was extremely rude and could not handle any stress, pathetic! From what I could decipher, mind you, this is all taking place at the front entry podium, Someone was late or no show for shift. There were 6 waiters surrounding that podium for at least 20 minutes arguing over who gets what tables. During this time, no one in the restaurant was being waIted on. When that ordeal was finally solved, the Bun Head manager started seating people. But he started seating those who came in most recent first. He should have seated the people who had been patiently waiting for the last 40 minutes first. Poor management skills by that Bun Head manager. Once finally seated, there were so many dirty tables to swim past. No wonder none of the tables are clean. The bus boy is on his phone playing games. We were ready to put all that drama behind us for date night. Then we waited another 30 minutes before our drink order was taken. Our waitress did not know she had our table. Thanks, Bun Head! Our waitress provided great service, so she gets the 1 star. read more

I just had the displeasure of dining here today for my beloved little sister's birthday. As someone who has worked in the food service industry before, I tried my best to empathize with the people here, but honestly I fail to find any excuse for the lack of service. We had a party of 6, so I understand some hiccups with our order could happen. But this was more than a minor inconvenience. 1) No bread at the start. Which is fine but rather annoying when we've requested and waited a good 30 minutes for it only to see many newly seated tables around us getting their bread before us. But it's complimentary so no biggie. This is a minor hiccup. 2) Salads are served, but no silverware to be seen. About 20 minutes into waiting, we get our salads but have nothing to eat with. Our server forgot to bring the forks out and was MIA for the next 10 minutes. My grandma was so hungry that she started desperately scooping bits of the salad with her hands. Eventually, we got so tired of waiting that we had to ask a different server for bread and silverware. Here was when my family started to get skeptic about the service and how the rest of the meal would turnout. 3) No plates taken up. Literally nothing was taken up until AFTER we left the restaurant. I don't know the standards at this place, but everywhere I've dined before has made it a norm to clear the table after each course. On top of that, no refills for our waters whatsoever. "Our" server was largely nowhere to be seen and we were essentially forced to ask other servers to pick up the slack for him. 4) No sides for our meals. Yeah. Out of 6 people, only 2 people had their sides accompanied properly. Four of us were missing either soups & potatoes when the entree was finally served. We were already too hungry to notice but halfway into our meal we made an attempt to get our sides. BUT our server was NOWHERE to be seen AGAIN so we had to solicit service from another server, which wasn't possible as they explained that they don't have the info about our table. (At this point, they'd know more about our table than our own server) 5) We did eventually manage to find our server and ask for our sides...but we ended up getting those missing sides AFTER we had finished our meal. Those sides ended up having to be packed in to-go boxes...which was the only thing our server did correctly tonight. The constant mistake after mistake and repeated reminders to our server shows that he didn't care and made no effort to improve our service. I pray to God that this place shares its tip because for the $30 tip my parents were guilted into giving, our server only brought out the appetizer (incorrectly) & the to-go boxes. Everything else (including our silverware!) was brought out by other servers. Notice that there's no critique of the food itself in my review. I genuinely enjoyed the food here and would give it 3-4 stars. However, not even Gordon Ramsey's quality of food could make up for our server's terrible service. In summary: Food: 3 - 4 stars Service: 0 -1 star Overall: 2 stars Dining here is perfect for anyone curious about if bad service could ruin good food. read more

We haven't eaten at Outback Steakhouse in years, probably before Yelp, who really knows. We had originally wanted to go to Salt Grass that night but the wait was 30 minutes and even their bar was packed. So we moseyed down to Outback. There was also a wait there at Outback, but there were empty seats at the bar, so we sat right down. Our bartender was great, very attentive and a good listener, haha. We ordered the bone-in ribeye and a stuffed potato to split. I also ordered my new beer of the quarter, a Dalas Deep Ellum IPA. This service was great here tonight and the food was also good. I think I still like a Salt Grass steak better than an Outback steak though. The salad here at Outback was a little too simple for our liking, it was just plain. Overall we had a good experience here. read more

I've been to this location twice and have waited a very long time for food on both occasions. On my most recent visit, we waited for a table for about 30 minutes and another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When the food did arrive, we were missing a side order and the shrimp on top of my steak. The waiter was very prompt in getting these items. He worked hard to try to make the best of our situation. I ordered the mother's day special of a 6 oz steak with garlic butter shrimp, two sides, and a slice of cheesecake for $26.99. I thought this was a great deal until the rest of my group decided to order a slice of cheesecake and I realized the difference in size. At least I felt like I got a good deal for a little while. I will say the cheesecake was pretty good and the raspberry sauce wasn't overly sugary. My favorite part of the meal was the garlic butter shrimp. They used fresh basil and it was full of flavor! The steak, however, was dry and plain. The waiter unfortunately forgot to ask how I like my steak cooked and I guess they automatically went for well done. Waiters should always ask how a customer wants their steak cooked especially at a steakhouse! Expect an average (or less) experience at Outback. The food isn't particularly good and the wait time is very long. read more
