Okay, yes Buc-ee's is a phenomenon, and rightly so! Some love it, some don't care, but me, while…read moreit's not the greatest palce on earth, I do love coming here form time to time. My cardiologist is only 3 minutes away, so I do stop by after my appointment. Yes, the place is massive, it's like Walmart merged with a truck stop. But what they sell is more fun than Walmart! My favorite things to get here is their beef jerky and the fudge! I stock up whenever I visit. They have so many types of jerky and they will let you taste any one you want. There are many food choices, yet I have not eaten anything, but plan on it one of these days. This is a fun place for a visit at the very least. If I lived closer, i would definitely be here more often.

Made it through hundreds of big bodies getting a few elbows on the way to the wall of World Famous Beef Jerky with ghost pepper, boheman garlic, teriyaki and jalapeno honey with prices ranging frim $5 - $15 per bag. Full operational kitchen serving hot plates of burritos, beef, tacos, chicken and pastry. Lots of Buc-ee's logo clothing and gift type attire. The parking lot was difficult to find a space so had to park a bit out by the gas station. They also offer a car wash. Spent about half an hour here but had to get back on the road. This place is definitely a whole day event.

This is a mobile order so I can't comment on the restaurant but all of the food was well packaged and with appropriate utensils in the delivery bag. I ordered a Pastrami Reuben and a Garden Salad. To start, the garden salad was ok. It's shredded iceberg with chopped provolone, cucumbers and olives. It also has sliced onions and green peppers with a smattering of olives, chopped banana peppers and a couple of tomato slices. I topped it with Larry's Italian dressing, and it was good. Now the Reuben was very good. I'm not a huge fan of rye, but this was very subtle. It had a decent portion of pastrami. The dressing and sauerkraut were good, and I opted for provolone instead of Swiss cheese. All in all a very filling sandwich which fulfilled my craving for pastrami. I'll order from here again... maybe not a salad but I'd like to try the corned beef. And they do have other sandwiches on the menu...

The fillings of the sandwich were fresh and delicious but the bread was not. Rarely do I return food but because I don't eat much bread anymore I will only settle for the best. Upon ordering I asked if the bread was fresh and she said yes. Even the replacement was not fresh. I'm not an idiot. Wrinkles on the top of the bread is a sure sign it's not fresh. I worked in a sandwich shop in the 80s. I know what fresh bread is and I could smelled it from outside. That is what drew me in. Don't lie to me. Twice
