Friendly and have many selects; meat, vegetables and drink ms etc. Few blocks from the subway but it worth to come in even from Manhattan. Fresh meat sections but burger or hotdog are Thursday only and there's no sign it that. Around the store, many coffees to stop by. I attached photos I hope you can see how it looks like :) SNAP CARD is acceptable

Came to buy ethically and sustainable, as well as support local business - got their house bacon, dry-aged burgers, bratwurst, and a quart of their bone broth. All came out fine. They have a decent selection of meat, produce, cheese, and other items like ghee, turmeric. Definitely not cheap but it's convenient when you're in a pinch!

I have been living in my neighborhood in Williamsburg Brooklyn NY since 1996. I seldom would go to a butcher shop, to get my meats, as I would go the supermarket in my neighborhood or in the city and get my groceries and meats there. Ever since Covid Times I started to go to Meat Hook on Graham Ave. My first visit there, I was so pleased to see the selection of meats that they carry there. I was also shocked to see all the produce, fruits and vegetables that they carry. I love Spices , so was one happy camper to be able to purchase additional spices for my spice collection,as I religiously use spices when cooking my dishes. I continue to shop at Meat Hook, even up till now,as they are a Lifesaver for me. I recently had to cook an Italian dish, Chicken Cacciatore for my niece Goddaughter Nena on Thanksgiving Day I had purchased five chicken legs and thighs for my meal. The meat was so fresh and tender, I was so pleased, in hence , my dish was excellent. My niece commented , as to the quality of my meats, as she was there while I was cooking this meal. I also purchased ground pork and beef, Lamb Sausage, Steak Tenderloin which was most excellent when I sauteed it with onions. I was in heaven eating that meal On occasion I buy their Italian Sweet Sausage as it is delicious.... Whenever in this neighborhood come by and check out Meat Hook, you will be pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this Butcher Shop, for the quality and freshness of the meats sold here,as well as the fruits and vegetables.

This butcher shop is so Williamsburg, but in the most wonderful way. Clean, bright, and staffed with some of the nicest people I've ever met operating a meat saw. And although not necessarily important to those just looking to buy meat, I especially loved that there are female butchers working here. Gender roles have no place here! The selection of meat products is quite impressive, ranging from ground beef to chicken liver mousse. They also have a decent selection of produce, dairy products (milk, eggs, cheese), and sauces/marinades. What really sets The Meat Hook apart is that all of their meats are antibiotic- and hormone-free. That said, you can expect to pay more for your chops here because they are of higher quality. Fortunately, you're not just paying for peace of mind; the meats are actually really delicious! I brought home a dry aged NY strip and cooked it up with nothing but s&p, and it was soo juicy and flavorful. As an added bonus, the owner Ben is super friendly and really cares about the customer experience! Thanks, Ben and Meat Hook staff! I'll be back!

COVID/pandemic era review: Went to The Meat Hook for takeout. Cool, clean place that looks like it would be very pleasant to dine at. Ordered the burger ($20) and Brussel sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and had a crispy topping on it that made them even more awesome. At $20, had very high expectations for the burger, especially coming from a butcher/meat shop. Comes only in medium rare (as it should) with cheese, special sauce, and onions/pickles. It was superb, and you can tell it was very high quality meat. Cooked to perfection and a well-executed medium rare. Seemed a tad pricy for the portion size but the quality was awesome though. Great burger, comes with fries also. All in all a solid burger and solid place in Williamsburg! There's a lot of other things on the menu that sounded delicious as well.

I've been receiving Ends Meat's monthly butcher boxes from Table 22 for about 4 months now and…read morethey've definitely forced me to up my cooking game! What began as a search for easy access to high-quality meets, led to my discovery of this butcher. One of the big drawers of patronizing their business is the partnerships they have with sustainable farmers. And you can tell the quality is there. I've had some of the best cuts of meat ever from here (especially their bacon). Some of the items I've received have been: pork loins A half chicken (I wish they left the innards ) Lamb sausage Chorizo (7.5/10) Rib eyes Beef tenderloin (my favorite) Bacons (also my favorite) Spicy chili French butter Mushroom seasoning/rub Bauvette Terrine Prepackaged sausage links (my least favorite, especially the ones with cheese inside) Chicken salad Ham hock And more I would really like to continue this membership, however I'm currently ordering the Deluxe Box (the higher tier) and I'm considering downgrading or pausing because it's definitely a lot to cook over the month. I wish there was an option to select what you want in the box, even if it were the animal, as I LOVE their ground beef and most of their beef products, but don't particularly love some of the sausages and ham items. Also, I believe the membership is advertised as to having monthly recipes, notes and ideas for each of the cuts of meat, but I have yet to see those. Also, I haven't received any priority access to in-shop events or special offers as advertised. Overall, if you or someone you know loves high quality meats and cooking, this is an excellent idea for them.

My friend and I were looking around for either a lite bite or something to drink post a Yelp event…read more Unfortunately, the kitchen was just closing down around 7pm on a weekday. Not surprised because it's the dead of winter and was a ghost town in Industry City. But the butcher was still open and he ordered some kind of stack of red meat and I purchased a beer from their very extensive craft beer fridge. I think I got a little overly excited because I got something called a Bagel & Schmear from Other Half Brewery and didn't read the description of it being an IPA. I mean, a bagel beer would be special. They do have amazing sounding sandwiches (most are reasonably-ish priced around $17 although it depends on the size of the sandwich amiright?): Porchetta, Steak, Pastrami Melt, Roast Beast, Burgers. I'd definitely have to come back to try something. They also have a fun condiment section and variety of jarred foods selection on the shelves.
