He had no idea how popular they were. During the holidays I treated my self to some salmon but also smoked trout dip. The dip was an absolute decadence on a Ritz cracker. Made that time extra special! I like cooking salmon simply, making a grilled veggie and mashed potatoes. Gives me the feels of a fancy restaurant but it's at home and it's so much cheaper. And this summer the left over salmon on a bed of spinach with peaches and avocados is a must! The shop is small. If you are a regular meat lover this is the place. It's local and fresh. She had a particularly gnarly cough that honey alone wasnt helping. I read about marshmallow root being good for sore throats and coughs and decided to stop in for the dried root as well as a tincture in case the tea was rejected. I also have been suffering from migraines with the change of weather and picked up some peppermint oil. The marshmallow root tea was tasty to me but my little hated it. I opted for the tincture in some juice and it helped break up her cough. Will def be back to explore some other natural remedies... in the mean time I will be experimenting with marshmallow root to make medicinal marshmallows.
