We had four bathroom granite countertops installed by Pius Kitchen and Bath. Most of the process…read morewas excellent, but surprisingly, our experience ended on a sour note such that we will not use Pius again and recommend caution to anyone who does. Sophie, the manager at the very nice Pius Tacoma showroom and our only contact in dealing with our project, was very helpful in all aspects of selecting the granite stone. A trip to the Pius warehouse in Seattle 's SoDo neighborhood near Century Link Stadium showed quite an impressive operation as we selected our stone panels. The installers did an amazing job of measurement, stone cutting, and tight fitting installation - but that is when things began to go wrong. Pius has great prices but be forewarned, they only install and are not responsible for anything other than putting the countertops in. You are responsible for tearing out your old countertops and preparing your home with floor coverings to protect from dirt and dust. That's OK as they made it clear that is how they operate. And there is a lot of dust from cutting the countertops in your driveway or front yard that they "try" to clean up "as best they can". Our problem and deep disappointment and let-down was their refusal to address the inadequate final cleaning of the countertops. The installers left a residue of fine dust and a thin film of glue that blemished the luster of the countertops. The head installer did wipe down the countertops with acetone but never changed rags and left a covering of dust and film. We asked him about it as he finished, and he said we "could use Windex for a final cleaning". OUR MISTAKE - We should have insisted right then that he redo his cleaning to remove the dust and film because as we found out after he left, our attempts with Windex did not remove the thin film of glue on the countertops. We emailed Sophie detailed pictures and videos of the blemished countertops along with observations proving this was dust and a film of glue that should have been removed by their installers. And we asked her to send someone to inspect and fully clean the countertops. Additionally, a 3rd party contractor we used to remove the old countertops who is a contractor Pius routinely works with also told Sophie the countertops were not properly cleaned. To all this, Sophie never called to clarify our comments and instead emailed a response that what we were seeing were "normal stone defects" they could not take out. Her comment was totally false! We researched cleaning products and to our great relief, we were able to clean the dust and film from the countertops to our full satisfaction. However, the blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and owning up for something they were responsible to handle soured us from doing further business we were planning to do in remodeling our kitchen. We will never use Pius Kitchen and Bath again and don't care how good their prices might be. If you still decide to use Pius, be sure to observe and carefully inspect the final cleaning and insist the installers fully clean your new countertops to the same luster you see in their showroom.

Dates and times specified meant little. Installation of initial product was cancelled 3 days prior to supposed install. Lots of apologies by management for dropping the availability and installation dates but saw little change in behavior. I am a handyman and provided my own tear out, plumbing and electrical. It was a $15k install and we love the material and 1 of the installers. They will have no further contact with me nor I with them. They can call you "Boss" or "Sir" , be polite and cordial in person but disrespect your calendar and timing. Installation may not be completed as your salesperson explains, especially if it is their owner/manager. Beware of their contract requiring full payment well prior to having the material or hardened dates on hand. They may not have installers readily available even though they say they do. I was referred to this company from my plumber since it was a 2-service job. The only problem I had was my new kitchen sink was much bigger, so my granite countertop needed to be custom cut, which was not their scope of work, but with great customer service and management (Michael) was willing to help with me with my project. Overall, I was satisfied with the actual work done and price, my new kitchen sink and faucet looks great. They didn't have much room for error and required precision technique. Part 2, the Plumber was able to reconnect and install new plumbing and disposal.

Just amazing work from a shop that truly cares. I called around many places for my kitchen project…read moreand from the beginning with a basic quote, I was impressed with the service and knowledge of everyone we interacted with. The pricing was very fair compared to the other folks out there but I appreciated that there were no hidden fees or anything. Everything was rolled into our quote and once it was done, that was what we paid. I had granite done at another house from another business, and they had a great price, but I learned later that there were taxes, fees, etc, all being rolled in that were not originally quoted. They were able to work around some challenging areas and had great connections for plumbers and construction guys to come out and do any demo and woodworking we needed. Everyone who came out was polite and respectful of our property and home, they were great about closing doors, checking with us when coming and going and taking their time to ensure they didnt damage anything. They are also very good at ensuring your satisfaction and very honest in assisting you with your design and install. We were actually going to go with a different edge and it was pointed out that it would cause an issue where it would be installed. Instead we were given the option for a different edge that was cheaper, that worked better for us. Having made the change we are way happier with it then we would have been. We also were mulling over an unused area that was going to just follow the basic contour of our cabinets. After receiving giving us some suggestions and advice, we went with their idea of adding an overhang to the dead space that completely changed it into usable space and transformed that whole area. Amazing! If you are in the market to renovate your counters or do anything else they do, reach out and call Infinity Stone Works. They succeeded in making our kitchen an amazing gathering area in our home and their entire team was a joy to work with, start to finish. Whoever said money can't buy happiness definitely should have called Infinity!
