She was excellent and was able to converse while working and the result was probably one of the best cuts we have had in a while. When we went back last week we were told she did not work there. We asked where she went and were told about Hair Shack. The Hair Shack was close and as usual we were given the same excellence and are extremely satisfied with Summers work! She does manicures and pedicures and coloring as well. Her prices were great and she is always quick. I was…read moreso pleased because it meant i wouldn't have to go thru the pains of finding someone I liked , I found him. Troy was everything I like in a hairdresser. He primarily, listens to what I want, but he also tells me what he thinks. I have a longer bob, and I really like the cut. Took sometime to get it perfect , but patience persevered. Troy likes to play with colors, and so do I. We have a nice red, or I should say dark copper base right now, and pretty soon it will be time to add highlights. Toward winter, we add low and highlights. Another plus is my color lasts until the next visit. The salon is cutely decorated and comfortable. They offer water, but not your fufu wines, etc. I think this is how they keep prices relatively competitive. I thank Laurelle every day for turning me on to Troy , not to mention that several of our family members also go there, including my husband.

I went to hair graphics after a really bad haircut in another shop. I was a walk in, and asked if…read morethere was someone available. A young lady was brought to me, and I thought she was the shampoo girl. The other stylists all had nice clothes on, and their hair done. This young lady was wearing torn (possibly dirty) jeans and an old t-shirt. Her hair looked like she just rolled out of bed. I was hopeful though. After a bad experience prior, this young lady listened to what I wanted. She did give me a great shampoo. I didn't feel like she finished the style, as my hair looked messy, so I asked to have some curl put into the style. I also had my eyebrows done. She did a great job with that. I'd recommend her there! In the end, the haircut was pretty close to what I wanted, and I was able to work with it when I got home. She DID listen to what I wanted, which was more than the first attempt, in another salon had done. I started to wonder if any of the younger stylists care how they look, since this was the second stylist, (at the other salon) that didn't seem to care. I read some really great reviews about Hair Graphics but, in the end, I gave this experience just an "OK' rating. It's just my opinion but, looks matter when you are walking into a salon for the first time, and I worried that, if the stylist didn't care how she looked, why would she care if I looked ok, walking out?
