I proceeded and while looking at colors she told me to take the books with me so she can get started already. again very rude and annoyed with her approach. she didn't speak at all to me so I tried to ask questions or make small talk and she rolled her eyes the whole time or either gave me another rude remark. I asked her which shade of white she would think bests match the style of nails I was going for and she said "don't ask me. They're not my nails and I don't have to go home and look at them. I don't care what color you choose just pick one." then the whole time she was doing my toes and nails, she was yanking my hands and feet, jerking me around and rushing through it all. if I barely moved she would yank me. and when it was time to put it under the gel light she shoved and threw my hand EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I was holding back tears the whole service and I even tried to kill with kindness. Telling her I loved the shape of the nails, she did so good, etc. Nothing I did or said was making her less mean to me. if I complimented her, she'd ignore me, roll eyes, etc. If I asked for anything I used my manners, please and thank you so much. I'm new here to WV, don't have any friends, family etc. I moved across the country and have been working my butt off, I never get days to just relax or pamper myself and the one day I finally get to, I was crying cause of how horrible I was treated. I thought she was just like that but TWO others came in and she was SO nice to them. she told them to grab some water and hangout until their appointment, she was talking to them and having great banter. Idk what happened but from the moment I walked in, until I left I was so nice and I continued to receive horrible treatment. Once it was time to pay, she charged me 85 for my nails and 65 for my toes. AFTER she confirmed it was 45 and 55. I didn't want to argue so I paid and left and when I left a smaller tip (8$) she said "you can go and have a nice day now" and pointed me out the door. I'm not even angry. I was so heartbroken from this experience and I was really looking forward to this. Zero stars if I could give it.

She was excellent and was able to converse while working and the result was probably one of the best cuts we have had in a while. When we went back last week we were told she did not work there. We asked where she went and were told about Hair Shack. The Hair Shack was close and as usual we were given the same excellence and are extremely satisfied with Summers work! I would never expect to have a manicurist "entertain " me, but other than "hello" and "relax your arm," she said nothing to me. I will admit, I'm one of those who just doesn't instinctively move my arm in the position that is best for them. They'll have to remind me to "relax your arm." But after a slight huff, roll of her eyes, and irritation in her voice, she was annoyed she had to repeat that phrase to me. Throughout the whole process (and it's a long process), she probably used that phrase "relax your arm" 5x. I prob would be irritated also if I had to repeat that phrase all day, but hey, I don't have to because I'm not a manicurist. My 2 star rating would be higher had it not been for her. My nails looked lovely. But I will not go back.
