Look how little the pesto is. I'm used to delis putting 5x this amount of pesto in a pesto chicken sandwich. =(

I was hungry and didn't want to go sit at one of the sit down restaurants at the airport bc they were all super crowded and so bought a sandwich at The Market for an easy dinner. I really should've checked Yelp review before deciding on my takeout... the sandwich was really disappointing. I ordered pesto chicken and there's really little pesto you shouldn't be allowed to call this a pesto chicken sandwich. I learned my lesson. I'll never come back again. I'll try a different takeout next time I'm at Midway.

Bacon, cheese, egg breakfast bagel. $5.99

WHEN: Monday @ 9am I was a bit frightened by the number of terrible reviews at the market. Thankfully I ordered a breakfast bagel NOT sandwich. SERVICE it was very quick and efficient. The lady put together the breakfast bagels and toasted it for the customers. She was very friendly and efficient. WHAT I ORDERED Bacon egg cheese bagel $6.50 incl tax $5.99/breakfast bagel. Honestly not too expensive for a bagel. I've paid over $8 at Vegas airport and wasn't that good. This Chicago bagel ingredients are proportioned accurately. Decent amount of cheese, like 3-4slices of bacon, cooked egg in the middle. It was very toasty hot, fresh and delicious. A bit salty prob bc of the bacon, maybe drain more oil and salt in the bacon before putting on the bagels. It was a decent breakfast bagel at this southwest terminal. There weren't many options, either Dunkin' Donuts (plain bagel w cream cheese, donuts, muffins), chicken sandwich spot, or a breakfast bagel at the market.

Second time at this airport for a layover. Had about 30 minutes before boarding so I wanted to find the shortest, closest line + something quick, so ended up here! Pre-made sandwiches that are just thrown into the oven. Small inside, but employees were kind. The sandwich was good, definitely not worth $10 though. It can get cramped, so make sure you're paying attention when they're calling out sandwiches - especially when it's busy.

It's a stretch to give 3 stars but this poor young lady was basically working by herself. She was trying hard but the line was out of control.

    Chicken Bacon Panini

Eh. Not a lot of great options in B concourse so I went for the market because the menu descriptions sounded good. Ended up being a pre-made sandwich that they cook in one of those turbo ovens. I got the chicken bacon panini (because out of their 7-8 menu options they only had 3 available) and it was pretty dry and had maybe a 1/4tsp of honey mustard on it to bring any form of moisture. The employee cooking the sandwiches was not friendly and only responded with a very flat "yep." or "nope." to any customers questions. Overall not worth $15.

Awful. Bring back potbelly. 2x the price, slow and lousy sandwiches. Had to be a corrupt swindle with the change in restaurants at Midway

We were immediately welcomed and asked to pick a table to sit and relax while the remaining staff finished getting organized. We were happily greeted by Bahar, who took our order, offered suggestions and kept our morning brew full throughout our stay. Food came out hot and delicious , my friend had the daily special (vegetarian omelet, french toast, and hash browns) and I chose the Club Breakfast (egg whites with spinach/onions, french toast, turkey bacon, turkey sausage). Service was fast. Everything had a great flavor with a home cooked feel to it ! Great place for a relaxing bite after a long flight or if in the area looking for friendly/family service and a great meal!

So we decided to try this spot, as they had vegetarian options for me and my wife. We ordered the veggie egg Benedict with hash browns, our son had banana Nutella crepe, and my friend had the bone steak with hash browns. Egg Benedicts was good but the hash browns were hard and under cooked. I've always ordered hash browns from different restaurants and they usually come done and toasted/crunchy so I was in an understanding that they come like this by default from any establishment. Was a little disappointed. I was too hungry and too early in the day that I didn't complain or sent it back, and just ate it anyway. I tried some of the crepe and it was just okay. My friend mentioned the tbone steak was just alright and his hash browns were undercooked and he end up not eating it too. Overall this place was just alright.

The best thing here is the fries but the burger was definitely subpar. The patty was cooked dry and definitely felt like a frozen patty. I had a hard time getting a server to find napkins for this messy burger so I had to walk up to the bar to get my own napkins. The menu I was given was gross and over used so I ordered via the QR code on the table. The good thing is that the website is pretty up to date on what is sold out but sad that truffle fries were sold out and a couple other items at 4 pm. Note that if you order via QR code, if you order and then don't order anything else for 40 minutes, they automatically charge your bill 20%. I guess it's fine since I can pay and leave quickly but not my favorite that it automatically does it in such a short time period. Overall, the menu is limited and food is not something I'd go for again. Skip this place.

When we arrived there werent that many people there. We stood there long enough for two other groups of people to form behind us. When someone did show, it was a very sullen man, who did not greet us, just said "follow me" and then put two menus on a table and walked away. Its was so weird and flat that if I hadnt been starving I would have just left. Bad first impression! However, we then had a lovely, personable server, who was very efficient and professional, and definitely helped change the dour atmosphere. I ordered a Pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was fine, nothing to really write home about. I have definitely had better (and cheaper) but of course at an airport there really is not much you can do. Probably wont be doing this place again next time I have a layover.
