Pork Chop, brined and grilled over Sweet Potatoes with an Orange Date Butter.

Such a great place to dine. Morgan our server was charming, knowledgeable about menu selections and very attentive. The quaint dining area reminds me of some Southern Boarding houses I have visited. The food was Amazing. From the Ahi Tuna Bruschetta to the entrees everything was perfect. The salad was too big to finish! But it was dang good. The flavor and crispiness of the Fried Chicken was too notch.

Really nice service and ambiance. Hard to think there are many better places to eat in Billings. Had that perfect modern Montana charm and the food was out of this world. Came late and still was treated like a tiny prince. Would easily recommend and come back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before I go to the airport. My salad was not quick, not sure what the holdup was, yet that does not affect my rating. Service by Erica was fabulous. She's nice, efficient, and very personable. Bonus that the managers son was here helping bus tables, and clean up! What a great experience in Billings for a late lunch. I ordered beet salad with chicken. Brussels sprouts, iced tea and crème broke for dessert. Great spot. I'll be back.

Generally poor service. Our waitress was great, but the... I don't even know what you would call the other person, but she was rather snarky about us not having a reservation. Chairs are not comfortable at all-- no back, no cushion, extremely small area to sit. Said they were fully booked also, but 45 minutes later when we left they weren't full. We purchased three food options: "Potato Pillows", "Comfort Marbowl", and Mac and Cheese. The two entrees were overpriced. The marbowl is worthless-- do not buy it. The potato pillows are good, but not filling (which makes sense given their lower price tag), and the mac and cheese was actually pretty solid. Unfortunately for me, I ordered the marbowl. Will not go here again, and I cannot recommend this place.

So glad we could stop in for a bite to eat - they were nearly booked with reservations for the evening! But the hype is worth it. Unique takes on meal classics make this a great spot for casual fine-dining. Note: ask for "real kimchi" on the side if you get the kimchi carbonara ;)

We selected this restaurants randomly and we're all SO glad we stopped in. We're just passing through but if we ever return to Montana then we will return. Local beers on draft! The menu options are unique and diverse with a value on local and fresh. Kiddie menu that our little one loved. We went with the jalapeño corn fritters, kinda like hush puppies, they were a little salty but SO tasty! We also got the lamb meatloaf, which my husband LOVED, and the shrimp grits, which was perfect. The servings are Montana sized. We will definitely enjoy it again tomorrow. Don't leave without the chocolate creme brulee. I need to also add this ambience includes both the comfort of private booths with local art with chill music.

Wow! When you think of Billings MT, you probably don't imagine creative and cunning culinary dining experiences...but The Marble Table is fantastic. The self taught chef has created some modern takes twists on American and ethnic classic dishes. The interior is elegant modern without being pretentious, and the staff is super friendly. The passionate owners came by and visited us for a while too! $10 Grilled Caesar...the BEST Caesar Salad on Earth! Grilled Roma crunch lettuce has a wonderful smoked charred flavor with their inhouse Caesar dressing and house-made garlic croutons shaved parmesan and full anchovies. It's like I've never had Caesar ever! $24 Comfort MarBowl...tasty fried chicken nuggets on top of red mashed potatoes, shredded white cheddar, sweet corn, house-made chicken gravy...its modern comfort food, delicious! $28 Lamb Meatloaf...an American classic amped with lamb with skin-on red mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, pickled vegetables topped with mushroom gravy. Desserts are amazing too, and the wine and beer are reasonably priced. Eat here if you get a chance!

Cod with veggies and rice! So good!!

Food was absolutely amazing! We both had the specials for the night and they were both soooo good! The jalapeño corn fritters are worth having again! Ambiance was quiet and we loved the booth we sat in. We felt closed off from the rest of the restaurant...it was perfect! The service was impeccable! We never felt rushed to make a decision and our server checked on us just the right amount of times! The only negative thing I can say is that we wish prices would have been listed with the specials. I assumed they would be more expensive, but I wasn't expecting twice as expensive as the highest regular item on the menu. I understand part of that is on me, as the customer, but it would have been nice for the server to mention it. However, we will be back to continue to eat off the "regular" menu!

Always an excellent meal. They have treated my family like their family numerous times. Easily the best all around restaurant in Billings.

This experience really is not worth commenting on, but here it goes…read more I ordered the tenderloin sandwich. It arrived as a small tenderloin, two pieces of toast cut in half, fries and nothing else. I sat there for over half an hour. I thought, "Hell, maybe she will bring fixins and I will have two small sandwiches. She finally come back, I asked about the sandwich, and she told me it was an open face sandwich. I said ma'am this is a small steak and fries and she began to lecture me about not asking about the meal when I ordered it. I asked why would I ask when it clearly stated tenderloin sandwich. She also told me it had been that way 40 years. Well, it has been wrong for 40 years. I would have forged ahead and ate it if it was edible. It was absolutely terrible. It had the consistency of liver and was fried hard on the outside and completely flavorless. I said let me pay and get out of here. She stomped off to talk to the owner whom was the guy I had observed drinking a lot of wine at the end of the bar. He told her I had to pay for it because I ate the meal and if I still had a problem, to speak to him. I did not eat it. Heck, I even tried to pay for the garbage before she stomped off. Since I did not eat it, I asked to speak to him. He would not come to the table and instead showed his pride and customer service and motioned to me to walk across the place to speak to him at the bar while he continued to suck down wine. He said again, you ate it, you'll pay for it. Again, I told him I did not eat it. Once sippy mcsipperson realized I did not eat it, he said I had to pay for it because I ordered it. Moving the goal posts! Dude was drunk! Lol I told him the waitress was extremely rude and argumentative. He told me he was going to beat her for it. Then he proceeded to tell me I was full of it because his tenderloin was his most famous and desired steak and everyone loved it. He said Montana was known for beef and asked where I was from. Montana might raise beef but this not so fine establishment could not cook beef to save its life. Even after I paid the bill the waitress continued to bother me about it as I was trying to leave. If you want to waste your money, you can play the machines or but a meal at Gusick's. Good luck and godspeed.

Actually it's always packed on the weekends so make sure to come early. The breading on the breaded veal, chicken fried, finger steaks and chicken is AMAZING. It's different from anything you have ever had. Try it to believe it

The food was good not great , breakfast was served warm not hot . I liked the road side dinner feel of the restaurant. If your in a hurry I'd look elsewhere for a quick breakfast, I'll give them another try for breakfast again at some point before I decide to keep them on or off the breakfast rotation list

Okay. Wow. I understand why this unlikely spot has great reviews…read more It's located in the Livestock Commission building and depending on the time of day or year, you might be dodging piles of stuff in the parking lot, so you know it's an authentic experience. The cattle and horse trailers can take up a good share of the parking lot. It's an unassuming cafe, no frills really, but its meant for the business of the building it's located in. If you want fancy, move along. What Hitt's the Spot does well is the food. And the genuine interest in the customers. It obvious the regulars, both the workers and the customers have dealt with each other on a routine basis. You can't fake that comraderie. Having stopped in for breakfast and at a loss as to what option sounded best, I was directed to the corned beef hash. I was told it was house-made and that was good enough for me. I wasn't disappointed. First, the portions are not skimpy. It was large chunks of corned beef, nicely shredded potatoes and large pieces of onion. There was no mistaking this for the hash out of a can, either by appearance or taste. I look forward to coming by to try some other things.
