I ordered it a couple weeks ago and it was incredible, the best country fried steak that I've had anywhere and so when I was there a couple days ago I ordered it again. This way I could tell if the first time was a fluke or that's how they actually make it and it was just as good. Other places you order this and it comes out a little soggy or even cold in the middle, but Charlie's place does it perfectly. It does have gravy on it which isn't too spicy, which I consider a good thing because I can always add more spice but you can't really take it away if it's already there. Prices aren't too bad at least in comparison to other places. The place itself is pretty clean looking and there's plenty of parking lot to go around. They also have an outside dining area in the back however I'm usually there like I said pretty early in the morning so I've never seen anybody using it however probably a lunch thing.

Sandwiches were OK but were mainly bread and lettuce with very little bacon. Restaurant was not busy but we waited a long time for our food and had to ask about our food. Wait staff were friendly and attentive and came over several times to refill our drinks and make sure we had what was needed. This is a diner but one thing we liked in the past was the outdoor seating and holiday decor. Deck was closed as it was in need of repairs and no holiday decor.
