They have works for sale by our favorite potter, a nice variety of natural foods, and a cafe. We bought pottery, a gluten free flour, and a good cup of coffee. It was also convenient since our destination, the movie theater, was right around the corner. read more

So much to like about this place, but the service continues to make us want to stop supporting. All natural and homemade options are a terrific draw, yet the attitude of the staff (specifically one manager) makes you feel like you are doing them a favor by spending money there. God forbid you use the wrong credit card, you literally get shamed at the counter. Just add in a surcharge and stop the harassment and belittling of your loyal customers. read more

I really enjoyed the falafel panini. I had never had anything like it, the pressed falafels I think are better than the balls. Good assortment of veggies inside and the sauce was good. This is my favorite place to eat in Hamilton by FAR. I cannot overstate how much I love the food here and it is just the best vibes ever. I am not exaggerating when I say eating here on my tour of Colgate was a major factor in my choosing this school. My go-to is a tofu melt (with lettuce added) or a buffalo tempe wrap and the mean green smoothie. As a self-proclaimed "flexitarian," Hamilton Whole Foods makes eating vegetarian food easy, affordable and so freaking good. The food is consistently great and I would live off of it if I could. I think they should implement nationwide delivery for when I graduate. 10/10 fav place ever read more

I got the Buffalo Tempeh without knowing what the hell tempeh was. As an ignorant meat eater, I did not know this was a meat substitute. Despite always staying away from meat substitutes, I thought this was pretty good. It wasn't until after that I looked up what tempeh actually was. Despite learning from this experience that I clearly have soy intolerance, this meal was very good. Really cool that this place has so many options for those looking for meat substitutes; I think it's really great. Good place for people looking for a good healthy meal. read more

This is the best eatery in the dinky town of Hamilton. I really enjoy the curried tofu..it's so damn delicious. I don't know how they make that stuff, but it's so fraking awesome! Loved this store. Was so tempted to eat lunch here on a Saturday but opted for the Mexican place a few doors down. My husband and I love this little store, and we always try to stop by when we're in town. They have a great selection of bulk grains, rice, nuts, etc. They have a little deli, and a small freezer/refrigerator section. It's really an adorable little place. The staff aren't super helpful, but they are far from rude. Honestly, if you're the kind of person who shops at a whole foods market like this, you're probably a pretty self sufficient person anyway. But if you have questions, the staff are always willing to answer you and offer suggestions. read more

Delicious "Slammin' Cheese Melt" with honey dijon and tomato! Sandwiches are reasonably priced. It's great that there is a store that offers natural and organic options in the village of Hamilton. Also love that they sell so many products in bulk, including spices, grains, etc. But it's significantly more expensive than other similar natural markets I've been to. Also it seems like they could make a better use of all of their space, as well as give the store a good cleaning. Overall though, it's still great to have this option in town, especially if you've got a budget that allows you to spend 25-75% more on the same products you could get at more affordable natural food stores. read more
