On a peak-fall foliage drive through the finger lakes we pulled over to grab some coffee at the nearest spot. Had no idea we were walking into such a gem. We loved the whole vibe here and got a few bags of beans to support this cafe. It's clean, friendly, and clearly popular amongst locals and visitors alike. First, the cafe itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. It has a pleasant interior where you place and pay for your order and then received a numbered sign. Second, it has a large, free parking lot (associated with Generations Bancorp of NY) which is super-convenient for drivers. Third, the breakfast sandwich was delicious. My wife particularly enjoyed her omelette with fresh locally-grown tomatoes and avocado. Fourth, the regular brewed coffee here is phenomenal. Overall, I would strongly recommend Cafe XIX for Saturday brunch just before visiting the Women's Rights NHP museum. As an added bonus, you can walk across the street from the parking lot and see the Ripples of Change outdoor sculpture of four women, including Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth with a lovely background across the lake.
