Nich Jacob's shop in Newcastle sounded perfect. To put it succinctly, Nich knew what the problem was, fixed it quickly, didn't charge near as much as I expected and he let me watch. Also, he had a client when I got there whom he fixed up and then he took me immediately. Now, I'm back home in Norman and my little Samsung is sitting on its charger and it's up to 80% already. I learned a couple of things while I was watching him work. One, I'll never take the back off a smart phone and try to fix it, they're way too complicated! And two, since he can do this to every kind of phone, Newcastle has a phone genius in their town.

Not sure about their repair service but they are scammers when it comes to trade ins... I had a Thunderbolt Display I wanted to sell. I called them before hand in order to save time. The fellow who answered the phone asked me how old the monitor was and what size. I gave him that information. He then told me they would pay $450 for the unit if it was in good working order. I proceeded that afternoon with the unit a they tested it in the store. Everything was fine and matched my description over the phone. At that point the fellow helping me asked me what I wanted for it. I told him I was quoted $450 over the phone. He told me that the person answering the phone this morning was out and that he could only do $200. I'm pretty sure the same guy that was helping me also answered the phone. They wasted my time instead of being honest. read more

In my book The Mac Man is the only way to go! Came home from vacation on Tuesday, and tried to no avail to boot up my computer which had been turned off for a week. Immediately called T.M.M. was told to bring it on down. Got a call Wednesday morning re:problem and fix, told Bob to Do It! By Wednesday afternoon I had my computer back. I never even consider calling, much less driving to Penn Sq. to The Apple Store. My computer is old, but I'm happy with it, because I can still have my Apple Works on it (which I use many times a day for my hobby, quilting. Bob & Chuck understand my need to keep this Application and always, always take care of whatever I need. The Mac Men Rock!! read more

Like most computer problems, mine occurred at the most inconvenient time - the week before finals! In my state of panic and due to the apple store being under construction with no help, I ran to the MacMan crossing my fingers I didn't just loose EVERYTHING off my computer (my worst nightmare). The workers at the MacMan helped me so quickly and seamlessly, I could not believe it!! They were so kind and even fixed the problem at little to no cost! I was so impressed and even though I missed my chance to write a review on the apple survey, I just had to write one on here!! They are great! read more

When will the Apple Store in Penn Square be able to repair my iMac? I refuse to allow "Mac man" who Apple identified as a premium repair facility to touch my computer. This man that apple calls "premium" steals from people by telling them that their computers are worth less then they really are, buying them, then raising the price double what he paid. He also will tell people their computers will cost more to fix then they are worth and sell them another computer, take theirs, then sell the computer he stole and resell that. This man is a thief and should not have the apple logo!!! read more

Josh at the MacMan in Moore was more than helpful. He truly went above and beyond to get my Mac and my business back up and running. I don't know what he gets paid, but the owners should seriously consider giving him substantial bonuses or a raise. Good help is so hard to find. Josh is extremely knowledgeable, their prices are completely re , and the service is absolutely worth it. I drive an hour and 20 minutes one way to come here, and I'd do it again without hesitation. My IT guy at OMRF recommended The MacMan to me for my computer repairs, which have included an issue with the T2 chip in my MacBook Pro preventing my computer from charging and my 2018 MacBook Pro's keyboard failing. They were able to get both issues taken care of quickly with high quality and would call me with updates as they worked. I appreciated their customer service and highly recommend them. read more

Dropped off a laptop for a powerplug repair. They said 3-5 days to repair. Stop in on 5th day to check on the status of the repair. They told me the power plug needed a repair. I informed the young lady at the counter that this was the reason I had brought it in and that I had told them that. She typed on their computer a bit and told me the hard drive was corrupted and they needed my log-in password. I asked when someone was going call me on that since we were already at 5 days and I hadn't heard a thing. She said "Probably next Tuesday..." I retrieved my laptop and took it somewhere else. Too lackadaisical and unprofessional for my tastes, especially with the prices they charge. There are other computer shops in downtown Edmond who are much more committed to customer satisfaction and while I prefer to support my local independent businesses, unfortunately, I will no longer be supporting this one.
