I responded that I never pay until after the work is done (all consumer websites say never to pay until the work is done so you don't get scammed). It makes no sense that a computer store would give free diagnostics. It's not a charity. I am a computer person, but some things are beyond my scope. I've spent about $1,200 here so far. You obviously pay markup and labor on the base price of parts, but so far the computer is running good and is a lot cleaner and prettier than if I had done it myself.
