(I understand it's cold outside, but it was still really cold inside. Even the lady at the table next to us said something about it) Even with how cold it was, there were gnats everywhere. So I order my husband's meal for him because sometimes he has memory issues. The server said "are you splitting this? I'm just asking because you are saying 'we' but it feels like you are ordering for him. Which is it?" My husband said it was for him so she turned to him to ask him what he wanted. Again he has memory problems and so when she said "ok got it." I had to let her know "no mushrooms and add bell peppers and onions." And my husband said "oh yeah I forgot." I ordered two eggs over medium with hash browns. I asked for banana bread with my meal. The banana bread came and I got two end pieces that were stale so I asked for biscuits instead. She brought them no problem. Our food came and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I was happy with how the food was prepared, but I kept having to kill gnats and then one landed in my food. The comp'd my meal, but I was turned off to the food at this point and left hungry.

What really sets this place apart from everyone else in the area, and I mean EVERYONE, is the absolute quality of their ingredients. Often times I feel guilty ordering a salad out, because I can make one at home, but this one, you just can't buy the quality of ingredients they use. I've never seen more perfect lettuce in my life. I could eat all the blue cheese they have in the building. So amazing. I can't wait to explore the rest of the menu. Pro tip- I know it adds calories, but an extra dressing is pretty clutch in my book.

Looking at the menu every thing seemed quite pricey. I got a chilli cheese dog, a super dog and a small seasoned fry. The dogs were around $3.50 each and the small fry was about the same. Now the kid at the window seemed nice but all he did was run my card and hand me my food so not much interaction. No where to park or sit and eat so I had to stop down the road. Once I open my food the buns were stale. The basically crumbled. Now the dog and toppings did taste ok. The fries on the other hand were pretty good! Crispy but wish I got a cup of cheese with them to dip. If I'm in the area and craving some fries I might stop but not too sure. Dogs are pretty expensive..

Not 5 minutes after we place an order the table behind us gets a full menu, with burgers and sandwiches on it. Am I a bit PO'd.... YEP Also the waitress doesn't smile. She looks miserable, geez, at least make an effort! So I ordered chicken and waffles and my husband ordered a few wings. As for the food..... The chicken tenders are AAMazing! Waffle is good and the hubs like the ginger lime wings although a small side of sauce and a few celery and carrots would make a better presentation. But for the diamond in the rough. I can only assume it was the manager/owner that delivered our food. I asked why we had a limited menu as I read here on Yelp I should have the prime grilled cheese. This man offed it to me on the house now that is some great customer service. I had to decline bc we have such a long drive ahead of us but he hands down was so kind. So I'm going with 4 stars. To sum this up I would happily come back just bc of his kind service! As we were finishing up Doug the owner came by again and he is a great reason to visit this place.
