Was excited about this store as a big fan of physical media. Good selection at okay prices. Spent…read morearound $200 and was disappointed at the result: We bought a new vinyl and when we got home to play it found out it was warped. Guy was snippy on the phone repeating all sales are final and anything could've happened when we left out the store. I'd understand this behavior with used records or rare finds, but if you can't guarantee quality with a mass produced print how is this not just gambling? Not spending money where I don't feel welcomed, on to the next I suppose.

I went in looking for an old-school R&B record that I had been wanting for a while and, sure enough, they had it. There's something much more satisfying about flipping through records and unexpectedly finding the one you've been looking for than just ordering it online. The selection is really good, especially if you like digging through both new and used vinyl. Everything is organized well enough that you can actually find what you're looking for, but there's still enough tucked away that it feels like a treasure hunt. They also carry CDs, posters, comics, and other music and pop-culture finds, so I usually end up looking around much longer than I planned. The staff knows music, which I appreciate. They're friendly and helpful if you need them, but you can also just take your time and browse without feeling like someone is hovering over you. Prices are also pretty reasonable, particularly for used vinyl. For me, finding that old-school R&B record sealed the deal. Great selection, good people, and the kind of record store where I can easily lose track of time. If I'm in the area it's somewhere I'd go back to when I'm hunting for another record.

I stumbled upon this gem after googling "vinyl records near me" while in the Duluth area. The service was fair, but what really impressed me was the extensive collection of up-to-date vinyl records. Unlike other stores that primarily stock older records, CD Warehouse has a great selection of contemporary vinyl. It's the best store I've visited so far for vinyl shopping. I managed to rack up on many new records here. The best part was the value. The prices were not bad at all to say many of these were newer. I'll definitely be back! There were many vinyls that I did see that I put bad.
