I came here on a Saturday and it wasn't that busy. I was seated fast (you can sit wherever ) and the food was out in about 40 min. The mashed potatoes were really whipped to make it very creamy. Hidden gem alert!! We were out on broadway and wanted to grab something to eat before we left the area. We walked into a few surround bars, food looked lackluster and prices were high for what you would get. We were about to head back to get food closer to where we live, but happened to stumble upon this place. I can't BELIEVE we were able to find a spot like this in the area. Linus and Reuben went above and beyond to make us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. They had a menu that was full of the bar food favorites, but they also had items that were very unique, like their chicken tikka sandwich. We ordered a bunch of food - all great portion sizes, all cheaper than restaurants nearby (like the stillery) and all were amazing bites. Normally when you walk into a bar, on a street like broadway, you get what you get and there isn't a "need" for staff to pay too much attention to you. That was not the case here at all. Incredible hidden gym. Not so hidden location-wise, but it's obvious people don't know about this place yet. Stopped in on Saturday evening to a quiet/almost-empty place (can be alarming given its location) but the food was AWESOME. Rueben and Linus gave great recommendation, and I was surprised at how good the southwest egg rolls were (had an Asian fusion flavor). One thing is for sure: get yourself the tikka sandwich. Okay, this place shocked us! We were just looking for a place that wasn't too busy. This place had many open seats. I think it's a hidden gem. It's a little off broadway and people don't take the time to walk down to it, but YOU should! We were shocked it's like an Indian fusion restaurant. You would never know it by the name. We got the butter chicken poutine with no cheese. It was so good and with cheesy goodness all over it I couldn't even imagine how good it would be. Hidden Gem! Wonderfully Delectable food. Great Staff. Good location. But did I mention the food?! It is mouthwatering and flavorful?!! Our family spent a day walking around downtown Nashville, I found this restaurant on yelp. It's a little off the beaten path so your chances of getting a table are a little easier (or at-least not having a 2hr wait). Traveling with our dog, it can be a challenge to find great food. We stopped by just to see if there was a chance because I was really craving Indian food. The management quickly decided that we could sit on the side porch they have (it's covered) since no other customers were out there. My husband said the Tikka Masala Sandwich was the best sandwich he has ever had - so flavorful, so delicious. My son LOVED his Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. He also tried Hattie B's, Jasper's, Lilly's and Prince's restaurants for a little tour to see who has the best ... This restaurant is IT! Prince's may be the birth restaurant of the famous Nashville Hot Sandwich but this place mastered it! My daughter and I shared the butter chicken (not pictured cause we ate it fast ) and a huge piece of Naan bread. Delicious!!! Butter Chicken usually has no spice - this was more between a mild and medium spice but so good and flavorful, we didn't care. If we lived closer this would be a weekly spot for us. The entreé which was the salmon was DELICIOUS! The presentation of the dish could compete with any 5 star restaurant. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, warm and had a smooth balance between the lounge and sports bar feel. We'll start with I feel like these guys seemed to have recently open. In a town like Nashville, I can't imagine the guts it takes to try and start a new bar with about a gazillion already going but I wish them well. If the meal we had is an indication, this is a hidden treasure to say the least. My cousin ordered a turkey club with fries and got a BIG A$$ turkey club sandwich, amazing was here description. I got the fish and chips, way better than most bars versions especially since it came out actually hot! It was a drizzly Saturday night and we were a bit early (around 16:30 to 17:00 and was a little concerned but the food and service put the concern to rest. They had a pretty good busker performing for an empty room but he gave his all and was as I said, pretty impressive with his range of songs He did a Journey song my cousin just loved, so good on him. I hope others will discover this place and give it a try. I think if they could get a small following, they'll eventually fill the room with patrons.
