I was on a road trip through Washington and we went to Olympic national park. We had no campsite to stay at and the Lost Resort took us in! They were so kind and said they don't turn people away and they'll find room for us! We loved our site and the store upfront had everything we needed: great dinner, breakfast in the morning, and great espresso! We were comfortable and were so happy with the experience! We also loved the fact they had a bathroom and shower connected to the store! A lowkey spot we enjoyed. Everyone was patient because there was only one attendant taking care of all the food, check ins, ice cream orders, everything. I really appreciated everyone was patient. Overall great vibes! Thank you so much Lost Resort!

We bought a hat to remember the place!

We wanted to go camping as a part of my Birthday trip but unfortunately since we hadn't planned our trip it was impossible to find a campsite on a sunny afternoon in August. We drove around for hours and went to almost every campsite just to find out there were no empty spots. We drove some more and my friend made the call to drive to Ozette as a 'Last Resort' we were looking at 20+ miles of unpaved, dirt road and we finally reached there at 7.40 PM, crossing our fingers! We were greeted by a lady behind the counter whom I spoke to, she started off by saying 'Happy Birthday', which was really pleasant n she also said there were a few camp sites available and our faces lit up! they even had bathroom facilities for guests and a paid shower attached to a small but well stocked convenience store that also sells coffee and some food. We immediately went and set up our camp at the campsite as the clouds began to gather and quickly made a small fire to cook up a quick dinner. An hour and a half had passed, we had eaten, our tent was all set up and it was beginning to pour but we recounted on what a day it was and how wonderful it truly was to be out there. The next morning we took a walk around and spotted some deers, we also went into the store where the same wonderful lady greeted us and got some coffee to go, when we left we did so with great memories. Thanks to the Lost Resort

It's mid September & we got an amazing camp site right in front of the store. Well it's actually 5 sites, but we were the only ones. * front desk/ store clerk isn't all to friendly or helpful. If you ask her questions she mumbles & talks in circles. We order 3 soft serve ice creams which were only filled maybe 1/2 " from the top of the cone & the ice cream didn't even touch the sides of the cone. Def not worth the 2.25 each !! The items in the store is double to triple the amount you'd pay in town. * showers are $3.00 for guest and $6 for non guest. Showers are only open during store hours.

So we went for a hike and to the nearest town. We returned late in the afternoon. They told us they were worried and had phoned us several times. We were there in the morning, we had some other plans, and already paid for the room. Why wouldn't we return if everything nearby was booked? There is no phone coverage. At least for us:( Their front desk is in the grocery store. So we followed the lady to the place where the rooms are. The room are tiny but cute. Like a little studio. They have tv and kitchen. Bring your shampoo and stuff because you won't find amenities. I don't know if these are cottages but they are rooms in something like a container. Although, there was a huge spider inside the bed and that the bathroom white luttke carpet was dirty, I think this was the best we could find in a very busy holiday :)

The place is creepy in the off-season. When my boyfriend and I arrived late on a January night, we realized we'd be the only ones staying in this secluded part of Sekiu. We felt pretty vulnerable, but obviously survived. 2. Room was freezing and took forever to warm up. I had called ahead and said we'd be staying there, but the owners didn't warm up a room for us. Instead we turned on the heating ourselves and spent the first four hours of the night there dressed in all the socks, sweater and jackets we had while cuddled on the bed. And the bedding is hardly anything on its own - very thin blanket and comforter. I eventually took a hot shower and then put all the warm stuff on again. By 2 a.m., we could finally take some of the clothing off because the room was finally warm enough. 3. THE CAT - the gaddamn cat. There's a stray cat that literally sat outside our door and meowed until we finally turned off all the lights and were completely quiet. So that was 3-4 hours of a cat meowing outside of our door. 4. Room itself is generally old/crappy as you can see in one of my photos. It definitely needs some renovation! So why did we stay here at all? A lot of places are closed in the offseason, but this one wasn't. It was also the closest open place to our hiking area near Ozette Lake. Everything else is about a half-hour more away. If I could do it again, I would have stayed in Neah Bay or Forks and just deal with the extra driving time.

Terrible Stay - Unclean and Unsafe Conditions We booked two…read morenights at Curley's Resort and Dive Shop in Sekiu, WA (July 5-7, 2025) but left after one night due to serious health and safety concerns. The unit was filthy--smelled like syrup, full of dust, cobwebs, insects, and a broken, stained sofa bed with no sheets. My girlfriend and children's asthma flared up immediately. I politely asked for a different room but was told none were available. When I requested a refund for the second night, I was met with hostility and falsely accused of breaking the sofa, which was already broken on arrival. The manager dismissed our concerns, saying I "chose to come to a rural area," as if that justified unsanitary conditions. I'm in the military and have stayed in many rural places--none this poorly maintained. Avoid this place if you care about your health, comfort, or being treated with respect. Also, if it's under new management, they definitely don't know how to talk to people and show care towards their customers.
