I appreciated- and read - the book about their history and stories placed in our cabin. We stayed in a two bedroom oceanfront cabin, and though nestled close to other cabins on either side, they are staggered in such a way as to afford us privacy and unobstructed views from the porch and expansive front windows. Purchase a beach fire permit for $10 and a firewood bundle will be delivered as you unpack your bags. Well-stocked kitchen, which is wonderful as once you make the long drive out to La Push, you should plan to hunker down for meals and such. It's a long drive to and from Forks. I would return!

They said it was the same style and it was not. The bathtub was smaller, did not have view, and the water took 30 minutes to fill the tub. The water barely came out of the faucet and by the time it was full enough to use the jets the water was lukewarm. The cabin was freezing. With the fireplace running I finally got the living room to 60, but it can't run all night so the rooms were freezing. Stay somewhere else and drive to the beach because the venue is not worth it. I feel ripped off and the exact opposite of relaxed.

We booked 3 cottages at Chito Beach Resort in Sekiu, Washington. My brother and his wife stayed in The Birdhouse (whose deck officially became our favorite hangout spot) We spent many memorable hours there, enjoying the ever changing views of the sea, wildlife, and spectacular sunsets. My sister stayed in The Wolf Den. I stayed in the cottage adjacent to hers, The Lighthouse.  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Lighthouse Cottage. The bed was soooo comfy. Water pressure was great. So much attention was paid to every charming little detail. Nothing was overlooked.  And that view!  On Saturday night the owners, Tamara and Matt had a little get together around the bonfire with all of the guests at Chito Beach. (There are a total of 6 cottages) They were wonderful and gracious hosts who served us beverages and DELICIOUS appetizers. They made us feel very welcome there.  After I got back home, I sorted through the MANY photos that I'd taken, and decided which ones to post on Facebook.  As gorgeous as some of them are, I think some of the pictures of the sunsets at Chito Beach are even more stunning than my photos of the Cape.  Especially on our last night there. Truly magical and almost otherworldly Our time there was an experience that our family will treasure forever.

It was also our first bnb experience, and they shot it out of the park! After a long day of exploring, we were met with a home that was warm, filled with all the details you could imagine, & kind hosts. 10/10 would recommend!! And an amazing breakfast to boot! My only note is that it looks like they don't change the sheets or have the room tidied up for you after you check in. If one is staying longer, a room refresh would be nice :)

The Inn was spotless, well-managed, and truly a notch above places we've stayed in the past. Breakfasts were outstanding and served with genuine care and attention--on real china, no less! It made mornings feel extra special, and I'm still thinking about those amazing muffins. We felt truly appreciated and welcomed throughout our stay. The thoughtful touches didn't stop there: Dessert bar each evening, 24-hour access to coffee, tea, cider, hot cocoa, ice, and ice water made us feel right at home. While the rooms weren't huge, they were very comfortable, (and well equipped with anything we could need) and the well-designed common spaces more than made up for it. We especially loved enjoying dinner on the deck each evening--it was the perfect spot to relax and make memories. High praise to the owners for creating such a warm, well-run retreat. We'll absolutely return if the opportunity arises. Kudos and bravo! I wholeheartedly recommend the Misty Valley Inn!

During your stay you get complimentary breakfast, it was nice to have during a peaceful morning in Forks! We stayed in the sunset room and although it was small, it was fairly cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchenette was great for having a little extra space to make meals, and the fireplace added so much warmth to the overall comfort of my stay. I spent a few long days exploring Olympic National Park and having the orchard suite to come back to after 12 hour days was truly a balm. The common area is also extremely cozy and intimate. It feels so well loved and cared for, and inviting! And the staff was friendly, offering suggestions for what to do in the area and even chatting about the local wildlife. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in PNW, I strongly urge you book a stay at the Miller Tree. Also this is a detail that probably doesn't mean much to anyone else but me, but the scented lotion in our bathroom was Twilight Woods by Bath & Body Works, which was one of my favorite scents when I was a teenager. Being able to form new associations with that scent and this trip made it extra special!
