I was overall impressed! We came once for dinner, then again for lunch. We tried many dishes but overall the beautiful salads & great cuts of meat for their steak mains stood out to us! BEE STING PIZZA (4/5) - hit the spot after a whole day's activities. It was a warm mid-thin wood-oven crust pizza with delicious cheese & salami. Wish I got more of the hot honey taste and I felt the dough was JUST cooked enough (almost underdone) SUPER SALAD (4.5/5) - beautifully plated and loved all the ingredients, definitely consider adding protein to make it more filling 8OZ NY STRIP LOIN (4.5/5) - they did a classic steak main dish right. Great cut of meat, cooked medium rare, awesome sides. EMPANADAS (3/5) - overall pretty dry but the creamy sauce that came with it gave it a bit more spunk JAPANESE TROUT CAESAR SALAD (4.5/5) - loved the large portion of fish & so many fun Asian-inspired flavours & salad toppings Lamb main dish with potato pavé & cauliflower with added Lobster tail (4/5, seasonal dish) - loved all the textures, steep price for this though Bread pudding with ice cream (3/5, seasonal dish)- I'm always a sucker for a warm dessert served with cold ice cream on top. This bread pudding was lacklustre in flavour and was overall dense...pairing it with the caramelly sauce & ice cream was its saving grace.

So many restaurants can feel either too loud or too cramped, but Prime Seven Nine creates a comfortable atmosphere that makes dining genuinely enjoyable. Our seating was perfect, and the music level was just right for conversation over dinner. The service was wonderful -- attentive without being intrusive, with just the right amount of contact throughout the evening. And the food... I can't say enough about it. Everything from the wine and appetizers to dessert was exceptional. The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed, and the truffle fries are an absolute must-try. I was genuinely surprised by how rich and flavourful the butter chicken was, and the steaks were cooked beautifully -- every bite seemed better than the last. To finish, we had the turtle cheesecake, and it was worth every calorie. This is the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion, but honestly, it's also ideal anytime you're looking for an outstanding meal in an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Congratulations to the owners and team -- very well done!

Music was a good volume so you could have a good easy conversation. It was also nice to see local students working here part time.

It's a cozy, family-run restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We started with the classic Swiss onion soup, which was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The sharing breakfast platter was generous and beautifully presented, perfect for sharing and trying a little bit of everything. One of the highlights was their cheese fondue. It was creamy, rich, and packed with authentic Swiss flavor. Served with fresh bread and other dipping options, it was a fun and delicious experience to share at the table. My favorite dish was definitely the raclette. Watching the melted cheese being scraped over potatoes, cured meats, and vegetables made the experience even more special. The cheese was perfectly melted, smooth, and incredibly flavorful, simple ingredients done exceptionally well. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with traditional Swiss touches, creating a charming alpine atmosphere that's far more memorable than many of the restaurants in Blue Mountain Village. On top of that, the staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. From the authentic food to the cozy ambiance, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Blue Mountain, especially if you enjoy Swiss cuisine or are looking for a unique dining experience.

Better fine print indication should be done or just a central unification of the advertised items. The fondue was limited, odds and ends, not abundant but enough to distract you- no white wine in fondue. One person ordered the pasta and the other ordered the chicken schnitzel. The pasta seemed like odds and ends scrap pasta- never had that and nor am I Italian food smart to know what it was. The chicken schnitzel seems to be a chicken breast breaded- it wasn't hammered it was odd. Served with a gravy with mushroom and sides of picked items and a breakfast hash? The dessert was a vegan option chocolate cake or Black Forest, but it seems they just served chocolate fudge and put the cherry on top to name it Black Forest . Service was slow because it's early season December when they are staffing in the new seasonal employees so 1 key person was leading while others were being trained by the key person- this overall impacting the service quality.
