Lots of food, but its not on the cheap side. The servers were very lovely. I just wish there were more options on the menu, like pancakes! Loved their hashbrowns, very nostalgic!

Decided to check this place for breakfast and I was pleased. It was a 9 min walk from the village. Fairly large restaurant with a the most sweetest servers. She was very attentive, brought coffee and constantly asked if we needed anything else. They serve starbucks coffee, the eggs were tasty, finger potatoes & French toast were all delicious. The portions were large. Definitely a hidden gem with reasonable prices.

It's funny how it didnt snow on Christmas day but snowed 2 days later. It wasnt a white Christmas but it was one well spent in the company of my family. Last year, my friend and I visited Blue Mountain and Collingwood and went to Pottery Restaurant on our 2nd day there. ----- The Breakdown: Pottery Restaurant |9/10 I got their Eggs Benny and Avocado with home fries and a parfait. Such a filling and well balanced meal. The parfait was my fave with layers of fruits, raisins and granola. Follow @debeats_ for more food spots outside Toronto!

The exterior doesn't give the interior justice, as it has a very cute, countryside feel. My fiancé and I came here for a quick brunch after staying a night in the area on a whim. Service was decent, nothing special. my tea wasn't ever filled and our server passed by once or twice just to take our order and check to see how we were doing then completely disappeared after. I got the eggs benedict, my fiancé got the braised beef. His looked and tasted good, my dish was underwhelming and under seasoned, but did the job. Portions were a good size and filling enough. I wouldn't omit this place for brunch if I were to visit the area again, though I would come back mostly for the aesthetic.

Artisan Garlic and Black Pepper Linguine

We had a dinner voucher for this place as part of the spa package that we booked at Blue Mountains, so we had to try it out! They accommodated us even though we were a little late for our already late night dinner reservation; this was much appreciated. The dining room is low-lit and nice enough though it looks a little dated; it's probably more impressive when the fireplace is lit and there are people there. Service was prompt and attentive, and after seem fresh bread to start our meal, the food also came out relatively quickly which was nice! I ordered the Artisan Garlic and Black Pepper Linguine, to which I added a few grilled shrimps -- it was amazing. Probably one of the lightest and most flavourful linguine dish I have ever had! Though fair warning, it definitely still fills you up. The shrimp were a really nice addition, but not entirely necessary, which also makes it a great option if you are a vegetarian. I ordered a glass of Megalomaniac's 'trailblazer' white wine as well, which was a perfect accompaniment to my meal.

All homemade in house. Including the ice cream. Exquisite, tantalizing and absolutely superb service quality and modern decorum. We had the chef special creole trout with salmon soup and the mini dessert for a very affordable price with complimentary coffee. The 3 course meal for $30. Everything was sumptuous.

    Buffet Breakfast for $18

We had breakfast here during our stay in the Blue Mountain village. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety and included items like sausage, french toast, bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese, assorted pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pancakes, hashbrowns and more for $18 but we had a voucher with our package. The food was good nothing to complain about, breakfast food is breakfast food. The sausage and bacon was a little greasy because they deep fry it so it can become a little dry, but other than that its good.

I was overall impressed! We came once for dinner, then again for lunch. We tried many dishes but overall the beautiful salads & great cuts of meat for their steak mains stood out to us! BEE STING PIZZA (4/5) - hit the spot after a whole day's activities. It was a warm mid-thin wood-oven crust pizza with delicious cheese & salami. Wish I got more of the hot honey taste and I felt the dough was JUST cooked enough (almost underdone) SUPER SALAD (4.5/5) - beautifully plated and loved all the ingredients, definitely consider adding protein to make it more filling 8OZ NY STRIP LOIN (4.5/5) - they did a classic steak main dish right. Great cut of meat, cooked medium rare, awesome sides. EMPANADAS (3/5) - overall pretty dry but the creamy sauce that came with it gave it a bit more spunk JAPANESE TROUT CAESAR SALAD (4.5/5) - loved the large portion of fish & so many fun Asian-inspired flavours & salad toppings Lamb main dish with potato pavé & cauliflower with added Lobster tail (4/5, seasonal dish) - loved all the textures, steep price for this though Bread pudding with ice cream (3/5, seasonal dish)- I'm always a sucker for a warm dessert served with cold ice cream on top. This bread pudding was lacklustre in flavour and was overall dense...pairing it with the caramelly sauce & ice cream was its saving grace.

We ordered a couple of appetizers and a whole bunch of pasta. Me personally, I ordered the carbonara and was very excited for it. However, once it came, it reflected more of Alfredo than a carbonara. Some would say to lower your expectations however, if I order something, I would expect it to come out that way. So the food for me did not hit at all. Magnone's is one of the better dining experiences available, in a nice fancy restaurant environment, but food and service can be hit or miss. The pastas are decent, average/average+ with good flavours and use of fresh ingredients and cheeses, but expensive for what you get. Carbonara was rich with a creamy sauce. The kids menu offers some basic classics (Alfredo, buttered parm pasta, or cheese pizza) at a decent price. Service can be spotty. One of our meals (of our party of 8) wasn't served with the others, with waitstaff saying "it would be another few minutes". Fifteen minutes later, it was clear that the order had been initially forgotten, when a barely-cooked, rush-order ravioli was delivered. It's still a popular place as it's hard to get a table here. Either reserve several days in advance, or walk-in very early or late.

Our first night we opted to stop in at Copper Blues because it looked busy and had a nice patio that seemed to be the spot (we didn't explore past Copper Blues and that was a mistake since there were other busy and nice patios throughout the village that likely would have suited us better). We were sat immediately and had a really friendly waitress. She gave us time to review the menu and our plan was to split a couple appetizers and have a drink. We noticed the menu was expensive. Cocktails were around $18+ and while they weren't the usual suspects like old fashioneds and manhattans, they weren't super unique either. The "sharing plates" were $20ish or more. We figured whatever since it seemed to be a popular place and committed despite the price. Now I want to preface this with the fact that the sharing plates were very tasty. So good, we even kind of ate the garnish because there just wasn't much to share. We got the maple ginger shrimp and the walnut dusted Brie fritters. The former had 3 pieces of shrimp and the fritters were 4 pieces of Brie that would probably be the size of a piece of laughing cow cheese (or smaller). The quality was there but given the cost, we certainly thought we'd get more quantity. The rest of our stay, we'd note places were expensive but not $8 for one piece of shrimp expensive. So, if cost is truly a nonstarter for you, this is a chill place to get nice enough stuff. Nothing truly unique but good quality and friendly service. If you want fun and don't want to spend a bunch to leave hungry, look elsewhere.
