We stopped at the Fork for a late breakfast. It fronts Highway 69 in Emory. Large dining room with lots of windows and a rustic feel. I'd already had plenty of coffee so I had iced water to drink and ordered fried eggs, gravy and extra sausage. The platter also had potato fries with the skin on, slightly overcooked but tasty. To say I got full is an understatement and the food was good.

Stopped in a Wednesday morning, first customers. Server was quick and friendly, accommodated all my grandfathers requests (there were many). We ordered an omelet, country breakfast and chicken fried steak. No complaints! Everything was yummy and the sweet tea hit the spot. Lunch starts at 10:30 FYI

    Eggs,sausage, toast, and home fries.

Glancing through the reviews, it all has been said already but I'll reinforce it. :) With our remote working life, we are staying close by on Lake Tawakoni. We like being social so where ever we are, we try to hang out in a coffee shop for the local experience and we were so happy for the experience at Reka's! Other reviewers were right... Reka and Bert are wonderful people! We felt right at home and were very welcomed. The coffee is delicious, with flavors and varying level of strength. I opted for Starter Fluid... a very bold roast with a high caffeine level. Most dark roasts are bitter but this wasn't at all! We sat comfortably in the "living room" area, wifi strong and power available to keep the laptop going. After one cup, we decided to partake in some of their baked goods deliciousness. OMG The double chocolate muffin! They also have other options such as scones, quiches and klobasneks. We will be consuming those on lunch! Thanks Bert and gang for letting us hang out! We will definitely be back!

It seems like that they have a lot more dining space too. I don't know if we really ever been charged extra for any condiments, I know that when we asked for extra butter or something like that we have received plenty of it. When I had a food choice dilemma, the server usually would give me both if it was a small order of something at no extra cost. They always go the extra mile to satisfy us. Today we even paid for an elderly couple's bill, and slid out the door without them knowing about their bill being take care of by us. Hopefully it made their day. We can't afford to do that often, but if we see a Veteran or an elderly couple, just our way of thanking them without them knowing who did it. But we love the new location and as always tip the staff well when they do good.
