Pretty amazing place. Everything is to go and there's a new menu every week. This place popped up under sandwich shops, but I would call it a restaurant with a bakery. I had these smothered pork chops with okra and squash that came with the side of black peas, and cornbread The pork chop was super flavorful and tender. The black guy peas, not mushy at all with an incredible flavor. I really don't like it when folks overcook them and these were perfectly done but you probably my star of the show was the okra and squash so much of the okra these days is just deep fried batter with a sad little vegetable inside. These were real corn breaded magic Had to physically force myself not to turn around and go back and get one of the solid salted caramel cookies and I must admit I broke into the peanut butter one as well, they are crack A very cobbler came with the meal and it had the perfect amount of tart with a very nice crust. So often these days, most cobblers and crumbles are too sweet at restaurants. This is a pretty special spot. I was driving through Quitman because I spent about 10 summers here as a child with my grandfather , who had a little summer house out here. It's been a neat walk down memory lane and now I have the food to match. read more

Stopped by here while driving through. This is a take out only but 100% worth the while. Small, quaint and clean on the inside. Different specials each day. I had the chicken parmesan sliders and husband had chicken salad sliders. Both selections were very good. They make fresh pastries/desserts each day so I had to try. I had a German chocolate cupcake which was probably the best I've ever had. Hubs had a brownie, so good. Best to call ahead and have order ready to pick up. The wait was not that bad. They were very busy which is a good sign. read more

I've ordered a couple of times from this little place. The 1st time I ordered a salad and was really good. The second time I got some tacos that looked really good on their Facebook, sadly they were not what I was expecting, they were an hour late delivering them to my office that's right around the corner. I was understanding when the lady apologized and said they were running an hr behind. But when I opened up the box i wasn't impressed at all. Stopped at Your Appetites for lunch. It's a small place, with outdoor seating only. We both chose one of the daily specials; my wife had the chicken nachos and I had the chicken wrap. The flavors were great! Your Appetites is also a bakery, and it looked like many people order baked goods; we saw several come and go while we ate our lunch on the sidewalk. The service was great and the food was very good. It's a little pricey for lunch (the lunch specials were $11), but the food tastes great and the portions are large. read more

I'd been working cattle all morning, missed dinner (lunch you'd say) and was headed home to an empty house. Not much to eat between Tyler and my home in Winnsboro, and I was more than a little worried about it. Missed the turn at the square, had to stay on North, and I just caught a glimpse of a hole in the wall with a woman coming out the door with a "box lunch", I guessed. I pulled my rig over to the curb, and as Providence would allow, I adventured into a kitchen that is a world apart from just about every public dinning experience one can find this side of the Mississippi. It was late in the afternoon, but Ingrid Hightower open up with a cup of coffee, while just off the cuff, she put together the best fried chicken sandwich and salad a man can find anywhere. I'm gonna keep up with that big blue cup she loaned me to drink the for the road coffee. I'll return it to her, and get some more of her fabulous cooking soon. read more

This little gem has become one of our favorites. They have a new menu and special each day. The food is absolutely wonderful and prepared fresh and nicely packaged for take out. Each dish has a theme and they will even come up with meals for vegetarian or keto type diets. Oh and the desserts are incredible. The owner is a master baker, cake and cookie maker. Nothing is beyond their decorating imagination. This place is so fun I hate to put the word out because I don't like long lines. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Your Appetites. This little take out eatery serves up huge flavors. We stopped in for their nachos and mexican corn and we were not disappointed one bit. The nachos were loaded with meat and cheese. The mexican corn was so fresh and flavorful. To top it off, it even came with dessert. We both got cupcakes and they were delicious. We will definitely be back. If I could rate 10 stars, I would! So, my girlfriend is having a not-so-great day. She likes doughnuts, so I called the Doughnut Palace; sadly the guy there wouldn't deliver (even for a super extra tip). So... I called Your Appetites (I should have called there first). Brittni answered my call and was super friendly, very polite, and she even helped me pick out a few cupcakes and cookies for my special order. She, herself offered to deliver the sweet treats for me, without a super extra tip! I live 1,000 miles away in a large metropolitan city and assumed every place on the map offered delivery service. Unfortunately, that's not the case today. I am so grateful that I called Your Appetites, because of them - they were able to not only make my day great, but they did so by going above and beyond. The small package arrived with a bow, flowers, and a beautiful handwritten card (thanks Brittni!).
