They kept the buffet stocked and made sure it was tidy. I love that they have a fresh squeezed orange juice station if you want some fresh ok it's available. The waitress checked back on us regularly for coffee and water. They didn't even seem to mind that we lingered for a while after we were done eating just visiting and catching up. The only thing negative was that the fudge and caramel were cold and stayed somewhat clumped instead of melting over the ice cream. But the flavors were great. The staff, including Trudy who runs the place, were very friendly and were sharing information about points of interest in the area (which I took them up on). The service brings the food to your table if you are dining-in and only charge you when you are finished. I did pay at the counter instead of waiting for a bill to be brought to my table. Parking is convenient on both sides of the street (free and angled in). The elevated entrance does have ramps at the half blocks for those challenged by steps.
