It was delicious until it wasn't! There were pieces of metal wire from the grill pad in my food.

I had the Chicken Fajita Skillet with my eggs over easy. Absolutely LOVE that they have breakfast all day, or at least extended hours! The hubs and my friend were ready for lunch, but I almost always love breakfast more. Flavoring was good and the serving size was great. Took almost half of it home for another meal. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was diner-like. Prices were reasonable and we all left feeling pretty happy.

Soooo good. The vibes are nice. The staff are great, the foods delicious, the prices are fair, and the portions are big. I recommend the cherry cheesecake, broccoli soup, and so much more.

Our service was amazing and so was the food. Such a cute breakfast spot in Danville! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

The service was very good from to finish. Our waitress Alyssa is courteous and timely. Employees stayed busy, and everyone smiled.

Awesome breakfast. We each had a skillet and love their homemade hot sauce. Bought a bottle to bring home.

No vegan options. Not 1. Would love for them to have 1 meal that is vegan friendly. It wouldn't be that hard.

We LOVED Maple & Yolk! We found it from Google Maps suggestion when looking for a place to eat…read moreafter an appointment at the doctor and wanting to shop at Costco. So the location was perfect right off I74! We went on a weekday around 10 am. As we pulled in, the parking lot had a lot of cars and it being a weekday and not a holiday, right off this seemed like a great sign! As we exited the car we were already hit with great scents as we approached the front door! The building had been easy to spot and was cute! The interior design was nice and in excellent condition. I really hate seeing places with like water damaged ceilings it's just gross. This place was in tip top shape! We were seated right away in a nice booth but had passed a long seating area which I'm sure gets used a lot during busier times and it's nice to see that they have seating for waiting customers. The booth seating was comfortable. The environment was peaceful enough not too quiet but not too loud. We were attended to perfectly by the server who answered any questions we had and politely took our order. She allowed a substitute for my boyfriend and when I had picked pancakes with two sides she pointed out a breakfast dish to me that was better priced. I really appreciated that as I had not see that combination. My boyfriend ordered biscuit and gravy and a fruit cup with coffee as his beverage. His coffee stayed filled. It seemed a little odd that it was just one biscuit but the dish normally came with hash browns not sure if that drowns in gravy? But his dish had TONS of gravy and he LOVED it! He really wanted to pick up the plate and lick every drop of gravy but he resisted!! The fruit was incredible as my dish came with strawberries so I got to experience it too. No idea where they get it but it was incredibly fresh and so tasty it definitely did not seem like grocery store fruit.he had scrambled eggs too I almost forgot. I opted for two pancakes (you could get 3) and bacon (it came with 3 thick slices perfectly cooked and they also offer turkey bacon but I got real), oh and I had the strawberries as a topping! Fresh creamy butter and a tall, hot maple syrup dispenser was provided. Oh I also had scrambled eggs! Cage free. Everything was delicious! So good! The server checked in with us enough. I shared one piece of bacon and some pancake with my boyfriend which he used to help get that gravy! My boyfriend cleared his plate except for a little fruit but I couldn't finish my 2 eggs and as I mentioned I gave my boyfriend some of my bacon and pancake so it was perfect. We felt the pricing was fair in today's market and for how much we enjoyed it. We definitely will go back!

Maple And Yolk is one of the most popular places to go in town for brunch or whatever. Expect to be waiting so make reservations if it's a big group. The menu is pretty basic classics along with some other things. Coming in here in the morning there was already a line going out front. It's certainly a favorite around here. The wait was maybe an hour so basically we got other things finished and came back later. A lot of what you expect at breakfast. It's about $5 for the cheapest items. We got the Avocado Toast. Before going know the vegetarian choices are limited. This one comes with an egg but we instead got more of the other toppings. Also we got Hash Browns. The meal was actually filling before we got hungry again later. Also has lots of lunch items. There's the usual items like salads and sandwiches. Got to say the food was good enough we could come here again. It's closed Mondays. There's limited options for vegans and vegetarians.

The food took over 30 minutes, which wouldn't be a deal breaker, if it was hot. The fries were cold. That's a death sentence in my opinion. The burger was fine, though not hot, at least warm enough. Though it looks unremarkable from the outside, inside, you'll find a wonderful restaurant where the staff is highly invested in making sure you have a great meal. My companion enjoyed a lovely Old Fashioned to start. I ordered the Turkey stroganoff, while he had the shrimp and grits. When the plates came out, I thought the veil was finally about to slip. They were well-plated, but huge. And yet...the veil didn't slip. It was haute-cuisine comfort food goodness in what looked like a converted warehouse space. Unreal! Though turkey is often too dry, my stroganoff was moist and succulent. The sauce was much more than just cream of mushroom -- lots of flavor and not too much salt. We had a time of it. I'd happily come back here again and again.

The location is a little unusual, being part of an old mall turned into an artsy shopping hub. There is a door outside of the mall to access the restaurant directly. Two notable dishes from our visit were the breakfast quesadilla (soooo good!) and the biscuits with mushroom gravy. The service was slow, however, it was a Sunday. We loved the place so much we booked a reservation for our next visit down to see our son at U of I. The restaurant also has a coffee bar where you can get special coffee drinks, and some random handheld foods. The seating area is eclectic and inviting. It may be my fault for ordering biscuits and gravy from a place like this, but it was on the menu and it's my go to. It was not good. The biscuits were hard, dry and very dense. They were large, but that may have made the issue worse. The gravy was ok, but not good enough to overcome the biscuits. I do not recall ever leaving a dish of B&G half eaten. But it happened here. If I ever stay at the hotel next door and try this place again I will try something else.
