Was not expecting such a great meal here! Maple and yolk is new to Urbana and this breakfast place was much needed! Prior to this, there hasn't been a good go to place to meet friends or family for breakfast and maple and yolk now checks that box. We absolutely loved the cinnamon roll (which was massive) and I really enjoyed the veggie skillet. Breakfast sandwich was a hit too. Service was quick and we only waited about 15-20 min for a table-- quick turnarounds here. Cute inside and great little spot for brunch.

First time at Maple & Yolk. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The chairs are very comfortable as is the bench seats. We ordered the chicken & waffles and a veggie omelet with bacon. The chicken & waffles were very good. The syrup included had a nice spice to it. The chicken was very crispy and the waffles were crispy in the outside and soft on the inside. The veggie omelet with bacon was delicious! It was packed with veggies. The pancakes were very good, nice and fluffy. The service was very friendly and checked up on us several times.

Once again in the University of Illinois C/U area. Everything pretty much still closed before school session begins. Set up a breakfast session at Maple & Yolk! Talia was our "Wrangler" We got in and our reservation was registering. Jokingly I thanked them for the ocean view. There "A" Game was in full gear. Ladies Ordered a round of Hot Chocolate Peppermint Cup & I went with a prosecco. There cheese curds are the bomb, WI should be proud. My crew ordered the Red Velvet French Toast, Bavon & sausages , I went, this time with Eggs Benedict with their Hash Browns. The portions are always huge! We all had to get "doggy bags". Talia was such a joy. They must hire positive people lovers! Looking forward to returning, zinnias si could say C/U best kept secret, but everyone knows this is the spot! Many Cheers & Mangia Baby!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile but never have time for the wait. Today we reserved early and it was totally worth the wait time. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly. Also did I say the food was out of this world. We will definitely be back.

I have so many amazing things to say about this place, first off this is exactly the type of brunch spot Champaign has been NEEDING! The inside is so cute and honestly because of the waitlist the wait wasn't bad at all! But if you don't add yourself to if before you get there I would expect to wait a little. Next is the menu, when I tell you I could have looked at this menu all day, there were so many amazing options I seriously had a hard time choosing! I ended up deciding on the corned beef skillet and pancakes, the pancakes were hands down the best pancakes I've ever had... in my life lol. I will say the corned beef wasn't super well seasoned, but I feel like that dish wasn't for me. Now my husbands chilaquiles has AMAZING, like the best breakfast ive had in a very long time, and the mimosa flight? Wooo were they strong lol so many fun options to choose from! I can't wait to go back and try something new! But this is 100% a MUST try for visitors and locals both!

I was looking for a place to have breakfast with my family while we stayed in the area overnight a couple of weekends ago and Maple & Yolk popped up with rave reviews. Then, I discovered that they were part of the same restaurant group as one of my hometown favorites, Mornings Breakfast and Brunch, so we had to give them a try. As we pulled into the parking lot between 8 and 9am on that Sunday morning, the place appeared to be jam- packed! I hopped on the website to see if there was a waitlist that I could add us to, but it said that there was no wait for a group of 4. We did notice, however, that larger groups did have to wait. We were immediately sat in a booth in the furthest corner of what I believe was their main dining room. I noticed another dining area off to the right of the host stand that may have been for larger groups, or just overflow seating. It also appeared to be full to capacity. I really liked the sleek, minimalistic, bright and airy decor, but the massive Sunday morning crowd made the lovely, upscale diner feel and sound more like a cafeteria. I wonder if the type of noise-canceling technology used in call centers would help with that?! Our server was very bubbly (like the mimosa that I ordered), and respectful. That's very important to me, as we were dining with my in-laws. She worked her way around the table taking our orders... ladies first, starting with my MIL, followed with me, then she moved to my FIL, finally ending with my husband. I liked that! She was amazing and made sure that we were taken care of. Coffee all-around, except for me, so there was a carafe and bowl of creamers left on the table. The omelet and yogurt bowl entrees were HUGE servings. The breakfast platters containing eggs, meat, and sides were reasonably portioned. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals...I just couldn't finish mine! Part-way through our meals, a family that had been seated a few booths down from us got up and stood nearby. The air vent over their table had condensation dripping off of it. A member of staff used a Swiffer-like apparatus to remedy the issue. Soon enough, I saw them moving about the dining area addressing other vents with the same issue. That's when I looked up. There was one directly above us as well, but luckily it never dripped. If we're ever in the area again, we'll return, but hopefully it won't be as loud and over-stimulating.

We went here for galentines lunch and it did NOT disappoint! We were able to get so much food for a really good price! I even had left overs for a few days which is so helpful since my fridge is always empty. There were cute valentines pillows as decoration which made it so fitting! Everything I ate was so good, I especially loved the chicken sausage. The shareable cinnamon roll is humongous so just warning you on that. Def 10/10 recommend!

Located at what used to be Urbana Garden, this is a new hip breakfast and brunch place has very cute decor! I really enjoyed the skillets -- the potatoes tasted great and portions were generous.

That food was not fresh. Not hot. If you judged by the wait you would suspect it's the best breakfast in the Midwest. It's not.

Great breakfast location. As I always search for something local when I'm traveling on Business. I was greeted by the hostess with a great smile and quickly taken to my table. Greeted by the waitress. Ready with some hot coffee. Great menu selection. Food was prepared well, and in a timely manner. Great value. Great food. Great service.

Chorizo omelette, avocado toast, chilaquiles, and berry pancake
    Eriko K.

Three of us had breakfast. This place has been open for six months, same ownership but completely remodeled with brand new updated vibe and menu. The food was reasonably priced. Plenty of parking. Quick and friendly service. The chilaqiles were authentic and a sensory delight, the tortilla chips soaking up the tasty mild green salsa. We upgraded our pancakes that came with the omelette for $4 to get the one with berries heaped on top. Yum! The hash browns were crunchy, not oily, well-executed.

So when I announced…read morethese things to my waitress - Jessica - I was expecting to be told it would be very difficult to serve me. What happened next was astounding. She consulted her supervisor, and the two were able to lay out for me what items were suitable with a complete list of ingredients and allergens! The sliders themselves use a vegan-friendly bun, and the patty can be exchanged for a plant-based one. The tofu tacos simply need to have the sour cream held. The sweet potato fries (and I presume the normal ones) are fried using the same oil as other foods, so people should take that into consideration should they wish, but they're otherwise okay. I ordered the tofu tacos and the sweet potato fries. Excellent meal! The music being played was Nintendo-themed covers and remixes, which I was definitely able to appreciate!

We had a few cocktails which were good. And the chicken fuatas as an appetizer. Which was REALLY GOOD!! Michele said they were the best she has ever had. I had a club sandwich and she had the gourmet grilled cheese with their mushroom soup. The atmosphere was quaint. And the service was good as well. We will be most likely come back to try other dishes.
