In town for a work meeting and decided to bring a coworker in to try something different. It was very busy but we were seated immediately. Parking can be tricky, but we found a spot around the corner. It's a bar setting, but isn't too loud. We had pretzel sticks to start. They are served with a delicious cheese that has just the right amount of spice to it. We both had a slider and a side salad. He had the black and bleu and I stuck with the traditional house. It was all very good! Service was also great! See you guys on the next trip up!

I had such a fun time at Seven Saints in Champaign. I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich with sweet potato fries, and both were absolutely delicious, the steak was tender and flavorful and the fries were perfectly crispy. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out fast even though the place had a lively crowd. The ambiance is energetic and upbeat, making it a great spot to hang out with friends while enjoying seriously good food.

I was craving a steak salad and was recommended to come here. The food was amazing! I ordered the Black and Blue Salad and the steak was so tender that it practically melts in your mouth. I was really hungry when I arrived and was surprised that there was no bread. I ordered some to come while I waited on my salad but it didn't come until after my salad. The service was slow and inattentive but the food is worth it, maybe next time I'll just get it to go.

Ambience was cool. Server was friendly and all seemed to enjoy their job. I was not a fan of the California turkey burger -- it had a weird smell and taste to it. Salmon salad was very fishy tasty and crispy?! Cocktails were not great for the price. Overall, portions were tiny for the price as well.

Came to the area for a work trip and decided to stop in downtown and this place was at the top of the list and reasonably so! The waitress was very attentive and polite. Food was amazing. I got my ribeye sandwich medium and it was perfectly tender, juicy and flavorful as it was accompanied by the horseradish cheddar and grilled onions. My partner got a pick 3 with their special Baja chicken soup (which he said was "fire") a salmon slider that he also enjoyed. Their drink menu looked great too but unfortunately I did not have the privilege of ordering one. The patio smasher would have been my choice. BlackBerry crown royal with blackberry puree and lemonade! Sounds fantastic. The atmosphere was very lovely as well. If we're ever in the area again I would definitely stop here for round two.

This place is a gem. The interior is beautiful. Our waitress promptly greeted us and explained the unique menu featuring sliders. What a great concept. We started with interesting drinks-the Lilly Pear and the Orange Manhattan. The pear drink was a little sweeter than I would like, but the drink menu was very interesting. Our waitress recommend we do the triple S combo in which you can combine a slider with soup, salad, or a side. They happily subbed out a turkey burger for beef on my tropical slider. I also had the salmon salad and tomato bisque- all delicious! Hubbie had the blackjack slider, southwest salad and sweet potato fries. All around a great meal and service. We will absolutely be back.

the random curtains in the entry way was kinda weird. other than that the space is nice, well lit and great for pictures. the food though, not too many options outside of soup salad and sliders. the sliders are $4-$7 but you'll need like 3-4 depending on the type you get. service was well for the big part we had. list of desserts but not on the menu, the banana cake i ordered had walnuts in with NO WARNING for allergy. the cheese curds barely had cheese in them. all the sauces were watery

Fantastic food and cocktails! I sat at the bar, and the waitstaff took great care of me on a busy Friday. I heard their sliders were good, and they are great! TBH, I only tried one, because I ordered a platter! I had the Smokey BBQ slider (topped with a fat onion ring! ) the sweet potato fries (I paid extra for the goat cheese sauce!) and a salad. Lots of great food choices, would hurry back there again if I lived closer.

Red pepper soup, honey Dijon slider, and goat cheese salad combo.

Food was good. Service from the bartender was great. Cute decor. I would go back if I was in town again.

Really nice spot! Love the soup/salad/slider combo! Service is decent but not bad, everything came out warm. Ambiance is really cool, the bar is really interesting and the wood work is really cool! I'd come back again for sure!

My parents and I stopped into Seven Saints on our last night on our trip back home. The food was amazing and the drinks were excellent. Especially the old fashioned. The sliders were great. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Our server was very nice and sweet. She asked where we were from and we said St. Louis, Missouri. So we talked about Saint Louis a little bit. She was very sweet. I would definitely recommend Seven Saints and come back.

Our waiter was super knowledgeable and funny. The food was amazing, the drinks were top notch and the building was decked out for Halloween. This was an extremely fun experience, made better by the people who masterfully work here.

Excellent service and food on a cold January afternoon. This little gem also has a unique historical building ambiance - our kind of jam!'

Securing a reservation was easy, and the overall experience felt polished and well-run. We skipped appetizers after enjoying pre-dinner cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres elsewhere. I ordered the 7-oz center-cut filet mignon with red wine demi-glace, my father had the ribeye, and my mother chose the red wine BBQ chicken. While my filet arrived closer to medium than the medium-rare I requested (very little pink), the quality of the cut and presentation were excellent. Next time, I'd simply order it rare. The ribeye was well-received, and the Old Fashioned was commendable. Service throughout the evening was excellent--attentive without being intrusive. Hamilton Walker's is very much a traditional steakhouse, and while Champaign doesn't have the depth of competition you'd find in a city like Chicago, this restaurant is absolutely worth a visit when you keep the market size in mind. A strong, reliable option for a classic steakhouse dinner in central Illinois.

To some the masquerade will come off as silly -- and not worth the added price -- but many seem to enjoy being swept up in the art deco interiors and old school dishes. The food is like the theme park version of a steak dinner. We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu: a pair of salads, and the beef tenderloin tails and Parmesan crust chicken as entrees. All of the flavors were cranked up to a level that would stand up against a steak. Both entrees came with mashed potatoes and green beans that were heavy on the garlic. It was hard to taste the underlying vegetables, with all of the seasoning. The preparation makes some sense if you think of a steak with demi-glace as the centerpiece, but they overpowered the chicken handily. The salad dressings were equally strong. In particular, the spinach salad had a dressing like sweet-and-sour sauce that was jelly-like with rendered bacon fat. The entrees themselves were competent but not remarkable. The tenderloin was cooked medium rare, and two thirds had a creamy interior with crisp char on the outside. The last third, however, was tough and required some sawing with the dull steak knife. The chicken had either brined or sat on the heater for too long. It had some juice left but was also tough. Perhaps the best item we ordered was the kids cheeseburger. Well-done with oversized steak fries on the side -- simple enough that you could taste both the ground beef and the potato. The food itself warrants three stars. And here is a tip: the local Costco sells gift cards to the restaurant with a 20% discount. Where a meal can easily run $50 here, knocking the tab down to $40 might be worth it for a special occasion. The service, however, knocks the review down by a star. The kitchen lost our ticket and, as a result, our party waited forty minutes following the salad for the first entree to arrive to the table, plus another fifteen for the second and third. The chef was very gracious and apologetic when he brought the final dishes out personally. However, the fact that his arrival was the first time the staff acknowledged a problem to us -- long after they had discovered the issue and begun addressing it -- suggests that there is a larger breakdown between the back and front of house. I had thought that a 6 pm reservation would get our family home early on a school night but I was quite mistaken. Probably they won't lose your ticket when you dine in, but I will think twice before getting back in line for the theme park ride.
