tasty snacks, top shelf tequila to sip and delicious mixed drinks
Christina M.

So nice to have a local spot to enjoy good cocktails. Lots of comfy seating. We sat at the bar and got to enjoy watching the mixologist at work making delicious creative drinks. When someone enjoys what they're doing it comes through in their creations.

Super cute place that's very laid back. Perfect for grabbing drinks with friends or for happy hour. They have indoor and outdoor seating which both at nice, just depends on your vibe. Severe greeted when we first walked into the outdoor seating area but to order we had to order inside at the bar. Not sure if this is standard or because they had an event going on, either way we didn't mind. The pizzas are yummy (we got the pepperoni and the Hawaiian). The food came out fast and was still hot which is a major plus. The paper plane drinks were average. After we got our food nobody came to check in on us, but maybe since it's a very laid back establishment and you order at the bar, maybe that's how things are done. I'd come back again when they aren't having an event. Check them out!

Tri-tip salad and hot honey pepperoni pizza

Super friendly staff, love the vibe, they have indoor and outdoor seating. Drinks tasted good and were made well. Pizza was made in a woodfire grill which added flavor! Tri-tip salad was made fresh and the wings were pretty average. Overall, I recommend coming here with friends or your significant other, on the pricier side for the food, average prices for the drinks.

Wow! This place is true to its name...it does look like a Public Library, a prestigious-looking one at that! The architecture is fascinating! Whoever owns this place is so awesome to have preserved it. The place feels cozy inside, it has a lot of seating, including a set of couch on both sides of the restaurant. The books are real!!! You gotta see where the restroom is...the way to it is like a mini library shelves maze (I know it's a lot of words...but it's the best way to describe it). The crew is nice and pleasant. They bake their pizzas in an outdoor stone oven. We got the Pepperoni with hot honey sauce. The pizza is delicious! We will definitely be back and try the other ones.

Wings

First off, I really don't leave reviews, even when a restaurant is bad, but this place was beyond disappointing. We ordered a double burger, and it ended up costing over $20. For that price, I expected something substantial, but it was one of the smallest burgers I've ever had. To make matters worse, it was completely flavorless. It also took about 30-40 minutes to arrive because, according to the staff, they had lost our order. Then came the wings: six wings for $20. Again, they were some of the smallest wings I've ever seen, with one piece being practically nothing but bone. Absolutely ridiculous for the price. Those also took around 20 minutes to come out. The tri-tip salad was okay--not bad, but nothing special and definitely not worth what they charge. The service was probably the biggest issue. At one point, I asked a cook outside if we could get some napkins. He looked at us and said, "Looks like we're out down here," shrugged, and walked away. I understand he wasn't a server, but I worked as a line cook for years, and if a customer asked me for something, I would at least make an effort to help. The drinks were okay, but again, not worth the price. For what they charge, I'd rather go to Napa and get a genuinely good cocktail with much better service. We even ended up befriending another customer who was equally disappointed. They warned us that they had previously been charged for extra items they didn't order, which was concerning considering our experience. We were told the restaurant was busy, although it honestly didn't appear that way to us. After reading some of the other reviews, though, it seems like the long wait times, poor service, and questionable value may be pretty typical here. Overall, the food was overpriced and underwhelming, the portions were extremely small, and the service left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.

The Library Bar was such a cool experience. I absolutely love books, so this place was perfect for me. The atmosphere was cozy, unique, and full of character. I ordered a Midori Sour, husband has a michelada no alcohol and it was refreshing and well made. Service was good, and while the food was o yummy they are on the smaller side though, so if you're hungry, I recommend ordering one for yourself. I'm from out of town, but this is definitely a spot I'll visit again and recommend all book lover to visit you won't be disappointed.

If you haven't experienced The Library, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Morne was such a delight!!! The atmosphere is fun and light. Great food, great drinks. What more could you ask for?

Tucked inside a 100-year-old library building, this spot blends history with charm. The bar has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, solid drinks, and great food at fair prices. The service really stood out too -- Marnae was dope and took the time to give us a full tour of the place, which made the experience even better. The new speakeasy downstairs is the cherry on top -- perfect for sipping whiskey. If they'd let me, I'd hang out all evening, maybe with a cigar.

A gem in Vacaville, CA. The space is beautiful, the staff is warm and inviting. Sal was inviting and quick, he cares about every step in the process of making every drink. The food is amazing. The pizzas came out perfect. The library, living up-to its name is full of books and shelves with large windows that spill the late afternoon sun through the entire bar. Definitely my favorite place to meet some friends and grab a drink.

The Library was actually a great break away from the typical bar/restaurant scene. It's very intimate, close, and warming the moment you walk in and seeing all the amazing collection of books throughout the restaurant was something that sat very well in my soul. The collection of books was donated from a UC Berkeley professor after he passed and I must admit, a nice collection at that. There are seats, sofas, and tables scattered throughout the area and a nice sized piano in a corner. I was thrilled to see little knickknacks all throughout the bar location. I asked the bartender about some little toys that were hidden on top of some of the shelves and he said that when kids forget their toys, they hide them around the area. So if your kids end of missing your toy there, they'll be sure to have it somewhere. To the food. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the wood oven mac and cheese. They tasted great and was delicious, there was no left overs! The mixed drinks tasted great and we enjoyed a few beers that was available on tap. Nice establishment! Definitely recommend!

Took 25 minutes to make a salad. Seemed the hostess wanted me to pay before receiving the food. Pretty cool building. the bartender brought the cocktail but forgot the water. The kitchen help brought the salad out. Had to ask for utensils. The rr gimmel was good. Charges 8.13% Vacaville tax. Wanted to try the beets salad

Didn't get food today but eyeing those pizzas I'll definitely be back for them! This is such a cozy and vibe bar and restaurant. The interior is like a mansion library. It's classy and elegant. I got a grapefruit spritz and sat at the bar. The drink is so good! Service is also fast and friendly. The bartender saw me taking pictures and suggested different tricks I love that! The bar table is make of a book shelf. The books are perhaps not functional but it's just such a vibe! There's also a large outdoor area so when the weather gets warmer it would be great to enjoy some drinks and pizza outside!

It was just our party in the venue during that time, a combination of kids and adults. There were plenty of tables for all of the snacks we brought, including pizza, spam musubi, and cookies. My bf and I purchased drinks from the bar while there. The staff was helpful and friendly to our group the entire time. They even explained how to use the simulators, as there were lots of buttons on the floor and a variety of options for play. This included match stroke, driving range, putt putt, box crush, island hop, mushroom bump, foursome, scramble, and more. The kids had a blast playing pretty much everything, while the adults engaged in a variety of simulated golf matches and driving range. The staff guided the adults through some of the features like replay in slow-mo... guests can even connect on golfjoy.com. Also, loved the automatic golf tee that rises from the ground with the ball ready to hit. The arcade in the back offered plenty of pinball fun too, mainly newer machines. We enjoyed our time here and appreciated them accommodating our large and crazy party.

She was super friendly and I told her we were waiting for Kevin for a golf lesson but I'm way early and he wasn't there yet so I took a look around going from front to back and I must say, it's bigger than it looks. It seemed like a very relaxed atmosphere. I love all the golf reference movies and shows on the wall....so retro. They have a small rec room in the back with arcade and pinball games as well as the simulators up front. They had pretty interesting stuff going on such as golf lessons as I mentioned earlier and I saw fliers for a pinball tournament. Kev got there early too and took my son right away. They do have clubs to use should u need for the lesson. Kev started with his stance and worked his way to holding the his club the right way. It was only a 30 minute lesson but might do a whole hour next time. After his lesson was done, well, my husband was late picking us up but as we were waiting the bartender asked if we wanted water. I thought that was nice of her. I'm not sure about food as I didn't order any but will definitely be back. Thanks Fore Play.

Stepping inside feels like a journey back to the days my grandfather vividly recounted. This place is a sanctuary where the heart of country music thrives, away from the glitz and glamor, inviting those seeking genuine moments over selfies and trendy drinks. As the lyrics perfectly encapsulate, it's "out in the country past the city limits sign," where this honky-tonk near the county line comes alive. The atmosphere ignites as the sun dips, welcoming a vibrant mix of whiskey, women, music, and that characteristic haze of smoke. It's the hub where cowboy folk gather for the boot-scootin' boogie, preserving the essence of a bygone era. Judy's is where hardworking souls, just like myself, find solace after a day's toil. When the clock strikes quitting time, there's an unspoken pull to this haven. Absolutely loved this place!…read more Came here because I needed a drink and ended up ordering food. So glad I gave it a try. Loved it so much I was back a few days later. This establishment is pretty big inside. There's booth and table seating, bar seating, and a small outdoor patio as well. The establishment overall from the lighting, the staff, and the layout is very inviting and had me spend more time than I originally planned. I always love a bar that lets you try out multiple beers that let you find the perfect one for you. I ended up with a great IPA. The bartender was super friendly, knowledgeable, and she did a great job engaging with customers sitting at the bar. She happened to be working the next time I came in and even though it was only my second time there she remembered my beer and also had me try a new beer I also ended up ordering. It's little touches like that that make an establishment. I had the slider lunch special and also had a burger and fries the next time I came. These are definitely homemade burgers with quality ingredients. I love that they switch up monthly specials (they have great deals each month) and also themed days such as kids eat free. The quality, the freshness, and the portion size was great! I'll keep coming back.
