Amazing Lego store with such a great selection. Lots of Lego's in stock that I have not seen before. Perfect place to find a new Lego set or a Lego keychain. Wish I could buy all the sets. It is very fun to build the sets and display them.

Shopping in La Jolla, San Diego, California... My cousin wanted to take a look at The Lego Store in the Westfield UTC mall. He said his son enjoys Lego! The sales associates were friendly and greeted us right away! There sure were many Lego sets! From Star Wars to Bluey... there were many themes! It's really a well-stocked, organized, clean shop!

Honestly I liked the staff at this Lego store more than the one at Fashion Valley. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I recently got the Lego passport at the fashion valley mall and asked one of the employees for a passport for my friend. He quickly ran behind the register and pulled out two assuming I didn't have one, which was thoughtful. I showed him mine and offered to stamp it, as well as my friends. He asked us where exactly we wanted the stamps and which ones as they had more than one.

You can never go wrong going inside a Lego store. The customer service was great. Elijah helped us and he was so kind and knowledgeable about the items at the store. Ended up buying the small Lego set of Paul Walkers Fast and The Furious car.

My daughter is a huge fan of Marvel, specifically the spiderman movies, and had been looking for the spiderman character keychain for ages... until today! We were at the store and thought it was out of stock but it turns out there was one left in the back, so glad the workers were able to help us find it, not to mention how friendly they all were, will definitely be back!!

Felt nostalgic buying Lego's for my Godson today. I was surprised to see so many options to choose from. The layout of the store is easy to get in and out of. The associates are friendly and very helpful. I ended up signing up for their VIP program which is an incentive to buy more Legos lol. Dom was quick at getting me out the door. Thanks Lego for reminding me of my childhood and establishing new memories for my Godson.

Lots of room for shopping and not a lot of people there when I visited. The employees were nice and greeted me as well. The shop was spotless clean and nicely organized. I enjoyed looking at all the displays of legos and omg they have a lego dragon! My childhood was screaming "why didn't they have that when I was growing up!" This place is for both children and those young at heart.

A Lego Store next to Victoria's Secret...

One of the things that's been lacking at Westfield UTC is more stores for kids (and kids at heart) - outside of Geppetto's and possibly Sloan's, there isn't much. So, welcome to the newest Lego Store, which just had its grand opening today! Even though it was a Friday morning when I came by to check out the place, it was packed full of Lego aficionados... parents picking up kits for their kids (or themselves), kids playing with the build-a-figure and build-a-car displays, and people browsing the display shelves to see samples of what the finished kits looked like. And, some of the in-house builders have some talent; the movie theater display was actually quite striking. Most of the Lego kits are a bit on the pricy side, and they were out of the minifigure kits I was looking for. Also, this particular location is right next to a Victoria's Secret (and also near the playground by Macy's) - at least the moms can drop off their kids at the Lego Store while doing their own shopping, I suppose. Still, for the Lego fans in your lives, this Lego Store is a welcome addition to UTC (and I don't have to go to Fashion Valley any more when the Lego fix strikes)!

I live at UTC area, but I would rather drive 20minutes to fashion valley store instead of this one.

Ask the Community - The Lego Store

Does this location have its own twitter, Facebook or instagram page to advertise its specific events?

As far as I can determine, they don't have their own Facebook page or Twitter account. You can go to the lego website and find the page for the UTC store to get their monthly calendar (which you can also pick up in store)

The delight and wonder in my children's eyes bring back the magic from earlier years and let me relive it all again through them. Geppetto's has toys everywhere you look; cars, dolls, books, bears, crafts, quirky knickknacks, blocks, balls, trucks, puppets, and everything in between. The store is packed with products yet maintains a classy and organized feel (unlike other giant toy stores). They let kids play with toys around the shop and the atmosphere is energetic and fun. Prices are steep; very steep...however the toys are top notch quality and you are in a tourist spot, so everything is pricey. Geppetto's is a must visit for anyone who has ever loved or currently loves to play.

My kids love ending our little outings here and picking up a toy. Price wise you are paying for boutique/experience but it's really not that much compared to buying it at major department stores. They also carry toys that are not sold online/elsewhere. Soif you are looking for Legos or calico critters that are hard to find stop at a gepettos if you see one. I have found some Polly pocket sets that are sold out or in limited supply.

We had never flown a kite before and when we went, there wasn't much wind, so we weren't sure if we could get a kite up in the air or not. We asked if they offered rentals, and he said that he has loaner kites that we could fly if we wanted at no charge. I thought that was super nice. We were able to get our loaner kite in the air and it was cute to hear families tell their kids to "look at the mermaid in the air!" I was able to make some good memories and spend an idyllic afternoon flying the kite, and I really wanted to support the business so we bought our own kite. It had a duck design and it's super adorable and easy to fly.

The wind was strong and as he let the kite fly up and up he didn't watch the end of the string and POP, the ring left his hand and made its way to the marina. It caught on the very last boat possible and now here we are with no rental kite, but after 40 minutes working with Marina staff trying to figure out how we can get it down, we go back to the kite store and the wonderful woman running it tells us that normally that kite costs $40 but since he lost it she'll just charge $20! I fully expected to get scalped but she was actually very nice. There's a lot of super cool kites in the store, not the least of which is the 4 string one, but I forgot the name. I suck at kite flying but anyone who has an interest or passion should check out this store!

This seems like such a fun (and appropriate) store for a shopping center like Seaport Village! My son thought the pirate themed items were great! There were clothes for adults and children alike. I thought the onesie that said "I smell trouble" was just too cute. They have pirate shirts and hats. The huge selection of guns was truly unique. There were lots of signs, plaques, and even wall art. There are items even hanging from the ceiling here. The nautical items are my favorite things to explore here. Brass bells, signs, and clocks are throughout the store. I really like lighthouses, and we found the cutest jewelry box and snow globe. We liked them so much that we ended up buying both. They had some nice compasses and clocks that would make nice gifts for anyone who likes nautical stuff. The service was good here too. The salesperson who rang up our items was both thoughtful and sweet. She made sure to ask if we found everything we were looking for and wrapped our items with such care. She was also very knowledgable about the items here too. If you're anywhere near Seaport Village and need to buy a gift for someone who likes nautical or pirate themed items, you'll never go wrong with stopping by Captain's Cove for a unique gift!!
