The first time we came last year, they gave me the shortest horse because I was the shortest rider there! I rode Ziggy, and I was already attached. He's so cute-- I am a big David Bowie fan, so I have nicknamed him,"Mr. Stardust" LOL The first time we came, it had been some years since I had ridden a horse, and the same for the boyfriend. We did the easy walking trail ride-- this year we did the intermediate trotting trail and I asked to ride Ziggy again-- what can I say, I love him.. Although we were initially nervous for reservation cancellations due to the rain and being pushed back a day, they still had great communication as to whether or not we'd be able to have our trail ride. The respond via text message-- so be aware that if you call, they might not answer. The only time they DO call is when you're booking the reservation. It had been raining on and off and so they said the first time they were checking our specific trail, was when we were actually on it. We didn't get to trot as much as I wanted, but it was a little squishy in some areas. The staff is friendly and even take your photo at the end! My thing is that it is very hard to hear them talk when you're on the trail ride. It would be beneficial for them to carry a microphone or something.

Throughout the ride you will be going very slow and will be in the forest for about an hour. They charge you $1 per water bottle and certain staff have terrible attitudes. My experience was terrible and to top it off one of the staff members spoke the entire ride and I wasn't able to enjoy the scenery. I will definitely not be coming back.

Again the staff at the place is wonderful and willing to work with you ... for me its just a bit out of the way, classes for my daughters age group are not conducive to our schedules, (3:45 Tuesday which is hard for us to get too after work and school & Saturday at 945 which fills up fast) and my daughter gets a little wiggle worm tword the end of class ... so we'll continue just doing classes once every blue moon ... I really wish their cooking school in our area was still open because it was right by my daughters school.

We are deeply concerned that a well-trained horse was mishandled and injured while in their care, and that we had to pay to remove her from the facility and get her to safety. We would not recommend Benbrook Stables. If I could give a 0 rating I would.

Mrs. Cain- Preemptively enrolled my children in this daycare even though my ex and I share 50/50 custody and everything went down hill from there. ( They are only profit driven at least at this location) The kids continue to tell me that there is never any soap refilled in the dispensers and therefore my children were coming home sick every other week because basic safety features were not followed. Moving forward- The accounting department knew we were 50/50 custody and I asked a number of times to type up two different accounts so my ex (The FBI Special Agent) and I can keep our billing different. Things got progressively worse here and we came to a head when Mrs. Cain didn't know my children's whereabouts, even though they ride the CLA busses. How is this safe?? I own and operate a small business myself and I would never care for my patients the way CLA care for their children and respective families. I am a doctor and I am appalled that Mrs. Cain did not follow the divorce decree from day 1 and went by the verbal consent of my ex Mr. FBI Special Agent. I cannot speak any worse of this facility. My girls were called into the office and nothing was ever documented if it made the center look bad. Clearly, this business is profit driven and I will not cower to speak my mind just because my ex-husband Mr. FBI SPECIAL AGENT TRIED TO TRUMP ME and the school didn't follow our divorce decree. Finding The Rock has been THE BEST thing for her. Not only has she learned how to behave in a classroom setting and respect a teacher, but she is excelling on academic levels for her age as well. The staff truly cares about your kiddos here, even if they are not your assigned teacher. They all know each student by first name and treat them as if they are apart of their own family. I definitely recommend sending your kids to The Rock, as you will love the family-oriented small school setting for your child!
