Innis Arden Club House - Great day for the pool

    Innis Arden Club House

I have come to the Innis Arden Clubhouse over the years since the 1990s for a variety of events…read moresuch as the annual Rummage Sale (conceptually similar to a garage sale), swim team events, meetings, community events, rentals and parties, and voting as both an attendee/participant and as a worker. When I was very young, we're talking about 5-6 years old, my parents came here to vote physically at the voting stations and turn in their ballots. This is where things got exciting as a kid. They gave us each thick paper (more like cardboard) ballots and the devices to punch our votes into the ballot, yeah none of the fill in the circle etiquette of today. Punching in our 'pretend' ballots was fun and perhaps the best part about voting at the Clubhouse was that we got to see our friends, neighbors, community members, and other people when we went to vote. Still view this as a better system than the impersonal absentee ballot and dropbox approach of modern times. Physical voting stations are a reminder that what one is voting for affects real people other than oneself and the communities we live in. In terms of layout, there is a kitchen, a larger room where tables and chairs can be set-up, a closet area, entry way, and restrooms. The Clubhouse is a large venue space with an outdoor patio with metal picnic tables on the backside facing a playground and a basketball court. The frontside of the Clubhouse faces the street. A large stone with "Innis Arden CLUBHOUSE" on it is visible from the road in front of the Clubhouse. Parking is shared with the adjacent pool, play area and field, and tennis courts so if there is a lot going on at these locations parking may be difficult to find which may mean needing to street park one's car a ways away and walk to the Clubhouse. I live about a third of a mile to half a mile from the Clubhouse depending on the route taken and have typically walked or arrived super early to park my car if coming during busy times.

We were allowed early access as the room was available earlier than our scheduled time with allowed us extra set up time. We loved the size of the room, kitchen facility and access to the outdoor area. They inspected the facility after. We received compliments on the cleanliness of the room and an apology and an oversight. The patio had been pressured washed and windows cleaned prior to our event. They noticed areas along the bottom of the glass that were splattered - they apologized and refunded a portion of our cost. Very professional support and services.

Aurora Borealis was a fun spot for a casual dinner. The pasta salad side rounded things out nicely and made the plate feel like a complete meal. One small note for first-timers: the entrance is on Highway 99, which can be a little confusing because there's also an "Entrance" sign on the opposite side of the building. Once you get inside, though, it's a comfortable place to relax over good food and drinks.

I'll be honest, I am surprised by not only the good reviews but the fact that absolutely nothing…read morehas changed since this place opened. The food is very good and consistently so... when you can get it. The restaurant is always PAINFULLY short staffed so while the staff is very friendly, they're simply never around. We have had to cancel food orders more than once because sitting there waiting for an hour to order (literally), then waiting another hour and multiple reminders for the bill before you can close out is just untenable. We live right up the street and since the food is so good, we try over and over and over again and it always the same experience: endlessly disappointing. Sitting there for 15 minutes with empty glasses and not a bartender in sight, or waiting 20 minutes in an empty restaurant only to finally order and have the server tell you they just sold out of what you wanted is not the way to run a restaurant. I'm only giving it two stars because the food is so good, but I'm afraid we've been disappointed one too many times. Until they can either hire staff or train their current staff on how to deal with their sections, we're out.

During the summertime I love when they open up the garage door to let more the airflow in. I appreciate that. They always have local businesses popping up in their location. I've been here for events as well as food pop-ups and it's always a delight. If you are looking to meet up with a friend or catch up with work they have two larger tables with plenty of room. as for coffee, I think it's fantastic. I opted to get the reasonable jar that I can bring in every time I grab a drink. It's the perfect size that way I don't overdo it on the caffeine. Every time I've come by the space parking has been plentiful. I imagine during the summertime and might get a little crowded.

Such a fun concept and experience. Before you go in they get your flower preferences (type, color,…read moreetc.) and some inspo pictures. When you arrive there are a bunch of vases in the back corner with the options they sourced for you and some other bouquets for purchase and inso front and center. You have the option to order drinks while you put together your bouquets and that would probably be the only down side to the experience. The matcha was pretty watery and not made very well but it was cute and aesthetic.. Overall my gals and I had a fun time arranging our bouquets and chatting while we did so. I wish they had turn tables for each person and we did not have to share. We only have 4 people in our group so to me it would make sense to have more than 2. Other than that, all the tools needed were there and a time was had.
