This place rocks. Classic arcade with a photo booth (only 5$), drinks reasonably priced, and an awesome ambiance. It's literally just so cute and so arcade. And tons of pinball and some other cute games. Loved the dancing game so iconic. They also have a scoresheet to compete against someone with, so my partner and I used it and it was really fun! It even has some options at the top for what the loser owes the winner haha. Overall, an amazing neighborhood spot with a great atmosphere and nice regulars. read more

I've been driving by this place for years and could never figure out why there were always cars outside and people standing out front. The windows are painted so you can't see what's inside. The parking lot out front is a bit awkward and that helped deter me from just stopping by and taking a look. I do really think they need to advertise better, but perhaps they prefer to be more of a hidden secret. I always thought this was a video game store, but clearly I was wrong. Lately I have been on a pinball kick and was excited to finally learn such a place excited so close to my house. Games were 50 cents, with a wide variety to choose from. Half of the place is 21 and over, so you can enjoy your adult beverages while you play your games. There was some seating if you just want to come and hang out. On the night I was there I was surprised to see they had karaoke in this space. I'll definitely be back. read more

Exactly what the area needs. Dark inside for optimal pinball lightning, cheap drinks, and an internet jukebox. They maintain the tables very well and the staff is always awesome. I always love taking my kids here to play old school stand up arcade games. This place is fantastic for that, they have games ranging from DDR to pinball. Multiple Pinball machines are available to play. They do have some snacks available for purchase and other assorted beverages. I will be back here over and over. Keep up the good work. read more

After pacing this place for a year on the way home we finally stopped by. It's a cute and entertaining place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night when you want something to do that isn't a bar or getting drunk. This arcade is a little small but has a lot of games packed in. It has a lot of pinball machines which is great for me because I love pinball but not so great for the husband who tends to prefer the older Atari games. While it still had a decent selection of Atari it just wasn't as much as some other arcades we have been too. Atari and Sega games are .25 while pinball and racing games are .50 with a few being .75. There is an ATM inside and of course a change maker. You can also buy beer, soda and snacks. It appears all ages can enter. We were there at about 11pm and saw kids and teenagers. I think there are even board games available. Saw one group playing Jenga. Overall not a bad place, and it's great if you like pinball. read more

This place is AWESOME! There is a vast selection of games - pinball & arcade style video games. The ones I played were about 75 cents a round but I found a few at the 25-50c range. Went back on a Monday and half the arcade was closed but there was still a room with a few games (including DDR and racing games). When you walk in there is a little fridge and you can buy beer or soda so you can enjoy the "barcade" aspect. Bottled beer was about $4 a bottle. You cannot bring the beer into the store but only the arcade area. There are some PVC pipes painted to look like Mario tubes to hold beers but only one small table. The store was great - friendly staff, felt like prices were good for used games. Spent about an hour in here and about $5. read more

Came here for a date night with my husband on Saturday and had so much fun! They have all kinds of arcade games including a ton of pinball. My favorite game to play at the arcade is Area 51 and they had it! We went in the evening and there weren't a lot of kids running around (which was nice for a date night) and they serve beer! They have the store attached that sales games and video game related items. They had the cutest magnets that they hand make of different video characters it was too hard to decide on just one so we bought four (Mario, Link, a One Up Mushroom and Frog Suit Mario)! read more

1st review below: upon contacting management they corrected the issue same day. EXCELLENT responsiveness, understanding and communication. I will now be a returning long term customer. The selection and vibe in the store is ultimately very good. I shop at the Edmonds location witch has a really cool bar & arcade as well. Defiantly worth a stop to check out. TONS of used games! Deplorable service! Do not buy used consoles or controllers from this place!! They obviously don't test equipment they buy. Bought a used Xbox and came with a defective controller. Called ahead and they advise they bring the controller in so they can figure out what to do. Brought the controller in and all they did was tell me that I now have to bring the entire system and didn't even take the time to test it when they obviously had Xbox on hand they could test with. Sales associate was short and seemed too busy to care about me. I made it pretty clear that all he wanted to do was brush me off because they were understaffed. I've never really visited arcades before, so this was a first for me. I use to visit a lot of arcades when I was little but not anytime recently so it's kind of fun to get back into it! The Decor/Atmosphere/Vibe: It's a dark space for sure, when they have the door open though it brings in a lot more light. It's clean for an arcade though which I appreciate. The bathrooms have graffiti of popular video game characters but they have bright lights and they are both pretty clean which is very nice. The vibe is chill & everyone pretty much keeps to themselves & their groups. The Customer Service: The staff here is always welcoming and friendly. I appreciate the little conversations they have with us every time we approach them - that just shows how real they are ya know? I love the customer service! The Game Selection: As you enter, you'll see the drink stand where they sell a variety of beers, sodas, energy drinks, etc. They even have gluten free beer which is awesome! To the right they have a wall of pin-ball machines. They have two booths and two or three non-pin ball games. On the right side of the building is the only place customers are allowed to drink alcohol which kind of sucks when the place is busy because the space gets crowded quickly. They have a variety of games on the left side of the arcade, you can shoot hoops, kill some zombies, race an opponent, etc! Overall: This is a great spot to hang out, spend $20 bucks to get some beer & play some games. It's great for kids during the day, at night it's more of an adult arcade. I would give it five stars if we could drink alcohol throughout the entire venue and if they had a couple more games but other than that it's a great little arcade to hang out at on the weekend. read more

Fun place! Good selection of games and beers, so that was nice. As others have mentioned, it was a little awkward that you can only have your beer in about 1/3 of the venue. So you have to leave it on a table if you want to go play most of the video games. Not really a deal breaker, but just would have been nice to bring my beer with me everywhere. I appreciated the game selection though and the prices were definitely more reasonable than most places I have been. This place is absolutely phenomenal. An arcade made the way it should be. Like a scene out of an 80's movie. Another Castle Arcade does serve drinks, but it's very family friendly, and I saw a lot of kids having fun and a lot of parents becoming kids again! They have a fair selection of NES and SNES games for sale. A bunch of games for other retro consoles as well. The owner said they will be expanding soon too. read more

It's a great place to get your kicks for old school video games. Not many places around where $10 gets you far. From Pac-Man, Simpsons, pinball machines, to Mario Kart So many great games! Very family friendly if you go there before 8PM PST, then it's the adult crowd. To be an all around amazing establishment, it would be awesome if they served food. read more

They leave the front door open because I'm sure it gets hot with so many people inside, but they don't enforce the no smoking within 25 feet rule, so the smoke just rolls in. I was really disappointed with this place. I was expecting so much more. They serve beer and cider, but the alcohol must stay on the right side of the venue and the only thing up there on that side are pinball machines. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy pinball, but when that's all you can do when you are having a beer, you get burnt out and bored quickly. The other side of the building has games like Pop A Shot Basketball and Mario Kart but it isn't a place that you can stay a while and enjoy yourself. This place is pretty cool. I have been to the Lynnwood location which is more of a store than an arcade. Tons of pinball machines. It looks like they have tournaments from time to time which is pretty sweet. I love all the retro games. Good old fashion fun is hard to find and so are retro games. They serve bottled beer and have some snacks for sale. There are 2 small tables to sit at and a couple of board games if you just want to kick back with friends and have a cold one. It can get kind of crowded in the "lower" portion. Just not a huge area and then with the real estate that DDR takes up, that makes it worse. My only small issue with this place is that there is a funky odor in here. I am not sure if it is because it used to be a bar or what, but it stinks. All and all I would be back again for some cheap, nostalgic entertainment. read more

First off, Another Castle Arcade has an huge collection of games, including tons of classics. There's literally something that everyone will enjoy playing at this spot. I personally enjoy the selection of pinball games, and of course Bust a Move. The staff is extremely friendly, they have great beer and tasty snacks, and overall the space is just a great place to chill and unwind. I can only review the arcade side of the business, as I haven't purchased any used games or systems. This is a go to place for modern pinball machines. The selection is very good, and the price per play is just right. There is a decent selection of stand up arcade machines, though I'm more of a classics person - pac man, dig dug, centipede etc. and most of the stand up arcades are late 1980's through somewhat modern. read more

They have stools!! My son is under the age of 4 so the stools are a huuuuge plus. It's the most adorable thing to see him run to find a stool and play basketball. Chloe is the one of the employees and she's always so nice and approachable, acknowledges my son and that's always a plus. Definitely recommend. read more

Ever since my husband found out about this place, he's hooked. You can buy a beer, and play games - what's not to love?? :) The people who work here are super chill, and if the arcade eats your quarter, not a big deal, they are awesome about replacing it. They also have a great array of games including arcade, pinball and Pac Man, which is my favorite. I wish they had more of an expanded liquor license, so they could serve more stuff on tap, instead of out of bottles, but it's still cool. read more

I used to go to this arcade everyday, mainly to pinball. They have some great pinball machines here. For the most part, the games are well take of care of. I've been to some arcades before where so many of the games just aren't up to par with maintenance. This arcade also does a good job rotating in and out new games frequently. read more

I thought Another Castle had a pretty nice selection of games. I recognized a handful from when I was a kid and used to frequent arcades with my brothers. I even found a new one that I could easily become addicted to! Tapper. The guy staffed at the counter welcomed us in, which was a nice surprise. The place is generally clean and kept. The atmosphere is very relaxed, which makes it a great place to have a pretty quiet get together with some friends. I almost gave Another Castle 4 stars, because I usually expect a more energetic feel from an arcade. However, I thought about it a bit and decided that the relaxed atmosphere works so well with the nostalgia of old arcade games. It feels like it's meant for a slightly older, more docile generation - not the rowdy group of kids I remember being a part of. I am by no means a gamer, but if I was locked in there for a few hours, I probably wouldn't get bored. Plus, they have snacks and beverages - beer included. read more

This place is almost perfect. The only thing preventing a fifth star is no beer on most of the video game side. The side with beer is all pinball, which is fun, but not for everyone. Speaking of pinball they have a ton. There are probably 15 machines all priced very reasonably ($2for 5 plays). If you love pinball arcades this place won't disappoint. read more

I have been here several times with my friends and had a utter blast playing old school games. I am 21 and whenever I go I see a crowd of all ages. I love coming here to play on the pinball machines because my dad an I used to play when I was very young. The staff is always friendly and helpful. An actual arcade! I've been to other arcades where you have to get their special tokens to play the game and I hated every second of that! You can bring your quarters from home or use their machine there. All of the games take real quarters. They have games as far back as the 70's and also more modern classic games as well. Some of the machines are for sale if you want one. Drinks (including beers) are under $5 which is a bonus. They have a large array of pinball games as well although after 4-5 hours the next day my wrists and fingers are killing me, haha guess I'm getting old. The staff is super down to earth and very helpful. They have pinball tournaments on Saturdays and Karaoke and Wednesdays. read more
