What a great find. I had inquired about hosting a private party for our son and his friends that are all on the spectrum, in order to limit potential disruption by their various stims, outbursts and sensory issues. The owners were absolutely open to our request and suggested we host the party in the 3 hours prior to their public hours. We had the run of the the place for the 8 kids and a handful of adults. It has a great low-key relaxed vibe and the kids settled right in. They spent the first hour playing a very rousing game of Cards Against Humanity, ate their fill of pizza and then gorged out on the game offerings. Pinball turned out to be very popular as most of them hadn't played pinball before (wth?!). They allowed us to bring in our own food, beverages, and decorations. We had everything cleaned up and out by 3:45. Super friendly staff, folks purchased some DnD books, puzzles, stickers and a few figurines. The families traveled from all over the greater Seattle and Island County area and will do it again. Well worth the commute and even the Evergreen State Fair traffic. If I could make one recommendation it would be to get Galaga and Space Invaders in as video game options :) Go and enjoy a low key, casual place for an hour or more! You can buy free play and you get to play any of the games as long as you want until the store closes. There's a lot of variety of arcade games and pinball machines. I am not a huge gamer but I do enjoy the old arcade style games. This place is not very clean though. Not sure if they wipe these games down because the first game we tried had something nasty stuck to the console board. Each game is decently priced so your money will go a long way. This isn't like going to a place where some games cost $1+. We didn't stay long because the majority of the games are shooting games, racing games, and pinball. You can only play pinball for so long. In fact we gave some of our left over coins to some kids who were playing. I wish they had more of the old fighter games I remember as a kid. Oh, the nostalgia! Make sure you take older kids because there are not many friendly games for those under the age of 10. They do have tables for board games or card games. Which they have a nice selection plus you can buy games there to play as well. They did offer some food but we weren't really interested in it. Overall = 3 Stars read more

Ok, this was a fun place. Pinball, video games, tables for board games. Really enjoyed the selection and had fun playing pinball. Kids enjoyed having a table to play DnD. There are groups playing here as well for regular times. Parking is limited in that area, but we got a spot right outside. Some snacks sold as well as some basic games. Neat little arcade to visit if you want to take the family somewhere fun but not drive out of town. They've got a decent selection of pinball machines and a handful of the games I grew up with - $5 or $10 can really get you far, easily an hour of play. Some of the machines could use some maintenance or refurbishment, and a couple ate my tokens - that said, staff at the store didn't give any grief about replacement coins. If you're into board games or collectible card games like Magic or Pokemon, they've got a decent variety of cards from a number of sets, and everything is priced very fairly. Accessory availability, things like card sleeves and play mats can be somewhat disappointing, however when things are in stock you can't beat the prices. Staff interactions for me have always been hit or miss. The owner is absolutely delightful and very eager to help, however the only other employee I've seen seems more interested in his phone or what his pals are doing than helping or otherwise interacting with you. There's a smallish selection of miniatures and accessories, but I can't comment much on the assortment because I'm not super familiar with the product. Having said all that, I like this shop/arcade quite a lot and visit often as I can. It's a convenient stop if I need gaming supplies and don't want to leave town. Honestly the only reason I didn't give it 5 stores is due to the super inconsistent level of customer service. read more

This place is giving me hard time with how many stars I should give... I think it's because I have been to so many arcades, coz I'm an arcade nerds! However, I have to give this place a 4 stars based on the price and the variety of classic games! Let's Play Cafe has tons of classic games. It has probably about 10+ pinball machines and they are all different. On top of that?? 50-75 cents for each game!! what the?? I can basically spend $5 for up to 1 hour of gaming here. They have some decent good old racing games that I enjoy driving 2-3 races/visit. I like the sniper game in the back, it's very cool and unique since I have never tried it anywhere else. Though, my brother and cousin found this game hard to play .. but that's because they are noobs *cough cough*. Old classic shooting games including this House of the Dead and Haunted Park or something. Donkey Kong, Pacman, Duc, Starwars, etc. They also provide board games for you to rent out and play and the store itself has a decent size of boardgaming area. The main reason why I keep going back here because the freaking DDR machine. The old classic machine with the SuperNova and SuperNova 2 versions. Just heads up that the left dancing pad isn't really working so use the right one! read more

Love this place! Great retro styled arcade. Many classic games here. Centipede, Asteroids, Dig-Dug, Tempest, Ms. Pac-Man, Zoo Keeper, Pengo, etc. They also have Blitz, NBA Jam, Gauntlet, racing games and light gun shooters. Their pinball selection is second to none in this area. Great tables like Addams Family, Simpsons and my favorite, Dr. Dude! They sell board games and card games like Munchkin. Snacks too. Fun assortment of free board games to play while you wait for gamers to finish, or just if you feel like a more hands-on strategy experience. The wife and I often walk down here with our infant in the baby carrier. The employees there are always friendly and personable. They are also quick to address any problems with eaten tokens, stuck balls etc. Very professional. The only thing that would make it complete is if/when they start serving hot food. Other than that, this place is amazing and one of the highlights of living in Monroe. Pass me another token! read more

Nice arcade. There isn't really a cafe, so unless you want soda, don't plan on eating here. Other than that, they have a nice selection of games old and new. Games are priced as you'd expect with old games being cheap for a lot of play, and most newer can be 75 cents for less time. Most games are 50 or 25 cents though. Took me an hour to spend $5. Nice little addition to Monroe. I took my 5 boys in to play for 2 hours today. The owner was very sweet and accommodating to my toddler. Great classic arcade games and at a great price. I went in expecting to pay at least $100 for the two hours of play.... we didn't even spend half of that. Great place to take the kids for a couple hours! read more

Great place to hangout on a rainy day... I love pinball and this is one of the best places around in the Seattle area. Unfortunately some of the machines are dirty and need to be shopped but I'm sure the owner is on top of this maintenance and will fix them up to like new specs. I was on vacation from California and was looking for a good pinball arcade and it is only second to the pinball museum in chinatown (which is amazing). I was a little upset that they painted over the hand painted beautiful vintage steam train painting on the side of the wall with a super crappy green and blue pac man b.s. paint job that is half finished and looks like ass for all of monroe to see, that is just a embarrassment to all who drives by. Maybe a bit harsh but maybe it will change... Overall its a great place with nice people and I hope it will grow. Seriously the paint is horrible... read more

This place is the cutest arcade I've seen, so close to my house and very convenient. Parking is a little tricky unless you do street parking right in front. So as I find a way to pull in the lot by turning at the cross street I am attacked by a few potholes so lowered cars beware! The arcade itself is in the back and a lot of them use single tokens (25 cents) they have a wide range of retro arcade games that bring back memories of times when arcades were more prominent. They do sell drinks there but plenty of signs up to not bring drinks into the arcade area. They have plenty of tables for magic players or any tabletop game. One thing my friend noticed is some of the items they sell are around 20% off msrp.. So not only a wide variety but an awesome deal. If you're looking for something different to do or want the feeling of a little nostalgia and have a need to play some retro arcade games... Come here and you won't be disappointed. read more

My husband and I took our two kids (8 and 6 yrs old) here over the weekend. It was great fun! There are lots of pinball machines, driving games, shooting games and some oldies-but-goodies - something for everyone! There is a huge rack of board games that you can use while there, and a selection of games for sale. The employee at the front desk as very nice and helpful. The only downside to the place is that the kitchen is not yet open, but they said that we could bring in a pizza if we wanted to. And the price to play is very, very reasonable.
