Stopped on a Friday afternoon around 1:30. Was seated on the deck within 5 minutes. Enjoyed a breakfast-for-lunch with the most beautiful lady in the world. Food and service was excellent. Blueberry waffle with lemon cream was the bomb. Home fries good. Corned Beef Hash was homemade and very good. Generous portions. read more

Headed there with my little because our house was being inspected and 1) I love me some quiche and this was a fantabulous quiche 2) the kiddo pancake was in the shape of a fish and was delicious and 3) THEY CELEBRATE MARDI GRAS we were treated with 2 incredible pieces of not King cake but a gorgeous piece of something way better! Was so happy to hear that a decent restaurant had taken over at the former sight of the always delicious Salmon Brook Restaurant on Congamond Lake in Southwick. We just returned home from breakfast..... parking lot was packed so we assumed it must be good! Yes, the food was "good" and their menu was excellent and varied! However, to wait 45 minutes for our meal, with no coffee refills, was a bit much! Was is because it was a crowded Sunday morning?!? I know Memo's is pretty busy, but they must have some pretty great short order cooks, as we have never waited so very long! We weren't even given utensils or napkins .... had to pull a waitress aside so we could enjoy our long-awaited breakfast!!! We'll try one more time, maybe for lunch, before we place on our "never again" list! read more

If I had gotten what I ordered I feel like this could have been a 5 star review. I order asparagus quiche. A couple bites in I couldn't find asparagus and asked the server. She looked and told me that I had been served the spinach one instead. She checked her list and confirmed I had asked for asparagus. And then told me that she hoped I liked the spinach one. It was good - but not at all what I ordered. She made absolutely no effort to correct the mistake. She didn't even offer to bring the correct one. Nor did she make any adjustment to the bill (it still said asparagus quiche right on the receipt). Food is great. Hopefully customer service will get there. She was very nice, this just isn't the way to deal with a restaurant error. read more

I'm not impressed. Legends was awesome and it seems this place isn't going to be my first choice to replace them. I ordered scrambled eggs and they were so insanely dry they were inedible.... how do you mess up scrambled eggs that badly? Everything was just mediocre, but definitely more expensive than legends was. Would like to see them step their game up, could potentially be much better. read more

We stopped in Saturday (Feb 16,'19) around noon and had probably the best breakfast ever! I had the Fisherman's Egg Benedict which is eggs over crab cakes topped with asparagus & creamy hollandaise sauce. Unbelievably great! A friend had another type of eggs Benedict with shrimp that she raved about. She also said it was the best breakfast she's ever had! We also had chocolate crepes which were fantastic! Jessica & Marc are a husband/wife team that have both been in the food service business for years and it shows they know what they're doing. All of the servicing staff is well-trained & very attentive. We were there at a very busy time but there were no delays. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I'm looking forward to warmer weather when we'll be able to sit outside & enjoy the view of the lake. Fantastic breakfast & lunch place!! read more

i've seen this location change hands a few times in the recent years. i always loved it, but this time in comparison the whole vibe of this place is totally different than it used to be. but in a fantastic way! you can tell they put so much effort into everything. the food is delicious and so are the drinks. i haven't tried the lunch menu yet but i plan to. they have weekly specials that add a bit of creativity to the menu, i have tried their specials a few times and was very happy. deff a nice change. i think this place is a great addition to congamond and to southwick! read more
