Was on a business trip and the shoe shine guy on the 16th Street mall told us we had to go here before leaving Denver. One trip was not enough! Two nights in a row of sizzling fajitas. After the first dining experience I learned you can't finish it all. Second night was a split night and was still too much food. The dining room can handle alot of people but it's best to call ahead and reserve. If you feel like showing up without a reservation, sit at the bar and have a margarita with chips and salsa. Tried their takeout yesterday as Sunday's my only day off most weeks and putting on clothes and leaving my living room to go to a crowded restaurant isn't my jam. Pancakes are light fluffy and delicious, breakfast sandwiches are yummy and their homefries and REAL hash are the best in the area. None of that canned crap. This was our first visit, and we'll definitely be back! The food was excellent. I had the roasted vegetable benedict special. It was well seasoned and the eggs were perfectly poached. Owned and operated by a married couple with extensive culinary experience providing food a step up from the regular diner or breakfast place that put out large quantities of average food. The Launch rises above to provide you with a special experience to rave to your friends and family about. My daughter living in California while visiting, found this gem. We are from CA visiting. Awesome meal but ya have to call ahead of time. Mimosas and bloody menus were not in the menu. Reservations are required but we didn't have one. Can't even properly give their food a review since I waited 20 minutes while multiple staff walked passed me and 6 others who were waiting to be seated. Never once did they tell us they would be with us, just kept on walking by with menus, silverware, and drinks for other tables. I understand there is an issue with jobs but that doesn't mean you should blatantly ignore those who are willing to give you business. Fantastic views from the porch with umbrellas providing the perfect amount of shade. The waitress was friendly and helpful, even bringing out bowls of water for our 2 dogs. So I had the eggs Benedict which was perfection. My sister had a turkey club and said the toast was overly done it actually scratched the roof of her mouth. It was also so thick between the lettuce and tomato and turkey she had to pull the whole thing apart and remake it. My mom had the P soup and a ham hock was so salty you could barely eat it. Who's ever in the kitchen needs to taste the soup and other food before they send it out. The half sandwich was the tuna again on bread that was too toasted. So I get that I guess the lesson is to only get breakfast here. Due to the location which is beautiful and the service we will be back but just stick to breakfast. read more

Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning (today). We were looking for a new breakfast place close to home. So of course we went to yelp. The launch was rated 5 stars based on 12 reviews so we went for it. It is amazing. The food and the staff are incredible. Fresh local food nothing canned or processed here. I had the Irish Benedict with homemade corned beef hash beneath perfectly poached eggs atop a properly toasted English muffin covered with a velvety lemon infused hollandaise sauce served with delicious home fries. My partner had an omelet with fresh mushrooms, fresh spinach and sun dried tomato goat cheese. I know I just blew your mind. She said it was incredible and the best part was that the egg did not have a crust. No burnt eggs at the launch. The owner won't tolerate it. Speaking of the owner he and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and personable. Thank you for your kindness. I also ordered a side of pancakes to see how they do as again this was our first visit. The pancakes are light and fluffy and huge. I ordered 2 and we split them and could not finish. The place is clean located on a lake with incredible views, the staff and owners are friendly, the food is fresh with home baked breads, pastries, muffins, prices are reasonable, portions are generous. You need to visit and visit often as we will. My only fear is that they will become too popular and I will have to wait hours for a seat. I want to go for lunch next time and see how they do. All of the food is prepared to your liking. We had omelettes and french toast. Both were absolutely delicious! Bacon was crisp! Home fries were freshly cut and not greasy or salty.
