Horrible customer service! Ordered takeout (salad and a sandwich) and found a gross piece of some kind of paper in the middle of the salad. I contacted them through Instagram instead of immediately posting a bad review. Received many apologies and a promise to send me a gift card to give them another chance. That was 6 weeks ago. I messaged them a few more times to give them the benefit of the doubt, and got no response. I could not continue eating the salad after finding the weird soggy paper in the middle of the salad, so wasted money, and their prices are a bit on the high side. I tried the Caesar salad and the Heavenly Ham sandwich, and overall, it was a great experience. The sandwiches are impressively large and very filling, so you're definitely getting your money's worth. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the salad was crisp and refreshing. That said, I do have one consistent issue: the bread tends to get soggy pretty quickly. Next time, I'll probably ask them to go light on the sauce or condiments to avoid that. Aside from this, the bread itself is delicious,soft yet hearty. Every sandwich comes with a bag of chips and a pickle, which is a nice touch. My only small gripe was that the pickle was room temperature. It would've been more refreshing if it were cold, but hey, a pickle is still a pickle, and who doesn't love them? Such a high quality sandwich! The bread alone makes this place a worthwhile stop - house made sourdough, so fresh and fluffy! I probably just gained 5 pounds but I don't even care. We had the cattleman's steak and the chipotle chicken, and they were both delicious. We're from out of town, but when we're driving through southwick again, we'll be stopping. I had such high expectations for this place and I was so highly disappointed. I have multiple pictures of how the food looked. The taste was extremely horrible. I was expecting something to be at least decent or delicious, but that was not the case and I am really easy to please and it takes me a lot to really disappoint me and I was very disappointed, maybe it was because i ordered on DoorDash but I don't know. We've had great experiences at Kettlebread over the last few years. I'm always surprised at the amount of food we receive for the price -- it's a huge sandwich and we love it! I especially love the pickle and chips that come in the to go box. Have always gotten the chipotle sandwich and the pastrami. Both are great. I usually call in the pick up order, and my boyfriend picks them up. I haven't personally been inside, but he always comes back saying how nice the service is. Great for a quick lunch! read more

Great bread! I had the Greek turkey sandwich and it was awesome! Make sure you're hungry when you go as the sandwich is huge. They serve it with a crispy deli pickle, yum, and a bag of chips. Prices are a little on the high side but definitely worth it. They were a little slow at lunch time but we weren't in a rush! The restaurant is very cozy & comfortable. Hands down the best sandwiches around! The rolls are amazing, and the quality of the ingredients shows. The cattlemans steak and cheese, tuna melt, Italian job, and southwest Chipotle chicken are my favorites. They come with chips and a pickle, and I'm always full when I leave. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are always friendly. I've got the dinner rolls for Christmas, and they are excellent. There can be a wait at peak times, so ordering online ahead of time is nice. They are not fast food, just great food. I'm looking forward to trying their new Westfield location. read more

The only complaint is sometimes the bottom piece of bread gets a little soggy but the bread is so good otherwise. Staff was courteous and professional... there's nothing I hate more then hearing wait staff converse amongst themselves with profanity or inappropriate language especially when I'm with my kids. Didn't get any of that here! Food came out in a timely manner and was hot! Being able to see it come right off the grill was a clear indication it wasn't coming out of a warmer or microwave! We were very curious to eat at the Kettlebread after viewing its robust website. We were a bit disappointed in a lukewarm welcome by staffers taking our order and the person who gave it to us after it was prepared, after a rather lengthy wait. The atmosphere was okay. High stools and tables [uncomfortable], regular tables and chairs and a small sofa soft chair. Faux wood flooring and an entrance rug with a corner turned up which was a potential slip and fall hazard. Fairly clean. The food is served in aplastic basket with a paper lining which disentegrated by the wetness of the food/sauce. Hmmm, I ate that paper! I had the Italian job-deli meats, cheese, sauce on their regular roll. It was tasty. BUT, very MESSY. Don't go there on a first date. Not sure if we will return. read more

When I went into Kettlebread and ask for a menu to take home and share with my family for a future purchase, the individual running the store said we don't print menus, you have to go online with a cellphone/iphone. I said what if you don't have one? She basicly said that I was out of luck. Bad customer service I'd say. Be prepared as C19 affect ordering which is either online or by phone (always busy). We were able to flag down a runner who took our order. Sundae Salad was delicious, fresh and well seasoned. The Heavenly Ham (missing onions) was generous but over dressed with honey mustard so the bread was totally soggy. I'm sure this is a great sandwich but getting it to go was not the best idea.
