This restaurant is located in an odd location behind a motel in Bandera. I got the chicken club…read moresandwich, which I really enjoyed. The Texas toast was fragrant, and the flavours of the sandwich blended very well together. My cousin got the fried catfish platter, which didn't have much of a flavour, but he said that means it's a river catfish. He is a catfish connoisseur and liked it. The jalapeno hush puppies that came with it were excellent. However, the coleslaw had a very odd flavour, and neither of us liked it. It tasted acrid to me. I didn't really like the fries because of the seasoning, but I still had a few. The server initially gave my cousin water instead of the sweet tea that he ordered. They served us our water and sweet tea in mason jars, which looked very nice, but the water was not pleasing to my taste buds as it tasted like unfiltered tap water.

I had a mushroom swiss burger and onion rings with ranch...so yummy. Cons and the reason for the 3 stars...There weren't any clean tables and the menus were dirty...we saw that there was only one guy seating, getting drinks and serving. I'm guessing he was also the cook, because it took an hour and a half to get our food. Another guy showed up near the end of our meal and was helping take orders. They were obviously short staffed, but I was proud of the guys...they were hustling.

In Dec. 2023, we stayed at this Worldmark for the second time, and we stayed in a 3-bedroom…read morepresidential ADA unit. We love this Worldmark and how relaxing it is as well as nearby activities. Both times we've been were in the winter, but it seems there are plenty of warm-weather activities to be had as well. This review would readily be 5 stars were it not for the following: The Worldmark site does NOT have any description of the 3-bedroom Presidential unit. We use that site for determiniing what units are most appropriate for us. There is NO mention of the 3 Bedroom presidential ADA unit having a second story. I am handicapped but also my parents are elderly. I would have preferred to have the unit be one-story or at the very least, mention that another master BR was upstairs. Prior to our arrival, I had called a couple of times to ask about the 3-bedroom ADA presidential and I indicated that my sister wanted her own separate bathroom. No one mentioned that the 3rd bedroom actually did have its own separate bathroom. Not to mention that the description for the regular 3-bedroom unit says it has 2 bathrooms; and NO description of the 3bedroom presidential. Is it too much to ask for Worldmark to add thorough descriptions for these units? The ADA units typically have this "all in one" laundry machine that is insanely confusing to use. It would be so helpful if you guys could include instructions on how to use them. Some tips for your stay: 1. It is by far the most *remote* Worldmark we've ever stayed it; allow for enough time to actually get to the checkin building. I can't imagine driving there during a downpour. 2. If you are a foodie, I strongly suggest just go to HEB and prepare to cook your means "at home". There are more restaurants in Kerrville than say Ingram, but still in Kerrville, the options are limited. Restaurants in Kerrville are at least 20min away, and teh options are limited. (It is the *country* after all). 3. If it's cold, as soon as you check in, ask for firewood for the very nice outdoor fireplace. It they don't have any, it maybe worth a trip to the store to buy some. The outdoor fireplace is very cozy on a chilly night!

While the room was to my liking, the Murphy bed was the most uncomfortable bag of knots I've ever tried to sleep on. While I had a two night reservation I couldn't consider a second night on that bed so I left after one night. Too bad, nice property. In the room, the body wash in the shower was empty buy luckily I had my own supply. The pools are very nice but the rails for the steps to assist with getting in/out of the pool are broken. How do you spell liability? I'm surprised they aren't all over it to fix those. I'll be back but not for any room with a Murphy bed.

We stayed in the Caboose. Yes, it's a real caboose, but it's been outfitted with a little bedroom,…read morekitchen, and bathroom complete with a nice shower. And YES, it has central heat and air. It would sleep three comfortably with a little person in the upper berth. The accommodations were not fancy like at a bed and breakfast...but the real treat is the location. Our caboose deck was practically ON the water. Take a look at the photos to see. Note...this is not the Holiday Inn. You will see the occasional spider. You are in the country. Would you like to go tubing down the Medina River...you're set! How about some paddle boating or canoing on the lake? Maybe some swimming. Would you rather take your camera out at sunset and photograph about 70 axis deer eating dinner? You can check all these off your trip itinerary without leaving the grounds. And while it's called a ranch, they do not have horseback riding on site. They have goats, but I do not suggest riding them. The folks at Muller's Ark can hook you up with some wranglers. It costs less than going to a dude ranch...dude--$80 to $120 a night as compared to about $200 per person per night at some of the dude ranches I priced. We saw deer, armadillos, alligator gar (in the water), bunnies, cats, dogs, goats, peacocks, etc... We did go tubing. We floated on the river through the other guest ranches visiting with other folks for about 2 hours. We had to hoof it a little because my daughter saw a harmless green snake and FREAKED out in her usual fashion. But other than that...which I can't really blame on Muller's Ark--the trip was great.

You have a giant lake with canoes and paddleboats (kinda old and falling apart, but they work), a river, livestock and super friendly hosts, Steve and Patsy. I stayed in a trailer known as Mobile 2, which is HUGE. I also came with both my German Shepherds and that wasn't a problem, so long as they stay away from the sheep (my older boy used to go to herding classes). Like the previous poster Dena stated, this isn't the Holiday Inn. I didn't find spiders, but a bird nesting on my patio. It's cool to see deer come up to your trailer, along with several jackasses and sheep. I will definitely come back here in the future.

I like the fact it wasn't crowded. I ordered their tasty chicken tortilla soup & the "shareable" fish tacos. Challenging greens lol I got to see plenty of golfers lose their caca over missed putts lol that alone was worth the visit again im not a golfer but this was gold! this made golf more fun than what I thought it would be.Ok let me get serious for a bit and tear this place down with my review. Staff is friendly but a little on edge, the members alone are not enough to keep the place afloat by the looks of some of the rooms here. This place is dated and needs a little tlc. The dining area is nice with a beautiful outdoor seating area. The food is hit or miss depends on what your order. Breakfast was lacking and I was disappointed on 1 day and then on the following morning it was a bit better. Drinks are a few dollars more to my surprise not many were drinking from the bar. Byb and you will be ok. Golf carts are okay they have an info screen which I thought was pretty cool. My only real gripe is the thermostat in my room it kept changing or turning off by itself this alone ruined my stay here. No matter how many times I adjust it it kept defaulting to 78 degrees this "was not cool"

We sat outside and our waitress came up to the table with a sour face. You could say she was as cold as my friend's burger patty (which I'm told tasted like a frozen patty that hadn't been cooked long). I wish we had sat one section over and got the smiley, attentative waitress. My fish and chips on the other hand were packed with cajun flavor and nice and hot! I also tried the onion rings and they appeared fresh and homemade. I guess it depends on what you order. Maybe the seafood will just always be the better option at this spot. The bar area is full of regulars and fun characters. So I probably will give this place another chance and just steer clear of cold lady and cold burgers. I won't throw it out as an option due to one employee just yet.

We weren't the only ones complaining Alicia, who waited on us was fabulous. Her smile and interaction with her is the only reason we would go back again and try something else. The rest of them beside working behind the bar should go find jobs else where no matter how nice we are to them, especially one of them they can't greet you with a smile. Just not their cup of tea. This place needs more Alicia's and Aidens. 2 stars for the food and a 10+ for Alicia
