It's now day two after and it still feels smoother and clearer than I've had in months. It was a great "end of winter" face reset. My aesthetician was incredible! She walked me through the whole process, explained my results to me and gave me some tips for what to try after my facial. The whole experience was on par with the excellent service I've received at other Face Foundrie locations. I love that they ask if you want a blanket and to take your shoes off, it makes it way more comfy and relaxing. I also love when they offer to walk you through it (or stay silent so you can relax). That said, I wanted to leave this review because of my shock over a recent review. My experience with Longmi has been overall very positive. I will say, on a business level, the owner has some things to work out, but from a technician standpoint, Tara has been fabulous. I have developed a slight allergy to the glue (btw- NOT uncommon and I know this from my line of work) and she has worked diligently with me to solve the problem and help it. I get compliments all the time on my lashes and due to my travel, have had to have fills in other states and not ONCE has anyone stated that my current lashes were incorrectly adhered or a problem. Due to the fact that the owner runs very short handed, appointments are at a premium. If you miss yours, it might take awhile to get back in. This isn't a technician problem. Plan accordingly! Went in before a trip a few days ago and the lady working on my nails couldn't have cared less. Rough with my hand positioning, completely missing the side edge on every nail AND got mad because the lamp wasn't curing the polish. She had to re do some nails and as I'm leaving says "It SHOULD be dry, but come back if not.". Why wouldn't you just do it right to begin with?? I'm now three days out and got the lovely surprise that my nails in fact didn't cure under the top layer of gel when they started to lift. I now have to find a random salon to just get this off my nails. There's some amazing staff here but it's becoming roulette if you book an appointment without picking someone specifically.

When did you ever mention that during the consultation when I clearly asked for a natural look with pictures? You didn't say that my request for a 'natural' look isn't achievable with your technique. If only you had mentioned that booking a classic full voluminous set wouldn't achieve the natural look I wanted and offered a different technique or attempted a different lash set, instead of ignoring my requests and confidently saying you could achieve the look I wanted based on the two pictures I showed you. It smelled amazing when I walked in and all the jewelry and products were very visually appealing. They sold many good quality jewelry and luxury products. The staff was all so welcoming, fun, beautiful, and very talented. They made the experience very comfortable. I had my very first airbrush experience and left feeling so happy and flawless. I couldn't get over the fact of how natural my makeup was and how light it was. I had such a wonderful experience I decided to have Kess do a brow lamination for me. Again, this is a new treatment for me and I was blown away. I didn't realize I actually had that many brow hairs. The lamination came with a brow tint and she definitely perfected the color. She asked if I would like a scalp massage while the treatment sat on my brows and that definitely elevated my experience.

I am currently brunette, with the request to make my way to blonde, I asked for highlights and provided a few inspirational pictures. What I received was very minimal, I could not see a change in my hair aside from 2 chunky highlights at the front of my hair. I understand it takes time to break up brown hair, but i received was unexpected. I was charged $348. Emily is young, new in her career, which I was happy to give her a chance. Moreover, Leah, the owner of the salon has never charged me over $220, and would exceed my expectations. I am extremely sad with the results from this time around, or lack of results rather. I asked for the situation to be made, right, and resolved but Emily said since too much time passed she will not fix or refund. Yes, it has been more than 7 days, but my hair is the same as it was when I walked out of the salon on 10/19, its still brunette, with no highlights except in the front. It took me until today, 12/3 to find the courage to say something about the situation. Lavish salon will charge with you steep unreasonable, unjustifiable prices, without any explanation or preparation of price point. I was blind sided by the price of $348. I cannot afford this price point for my hair, and I am still in need of getting my hair corrected, and will need to pay another salon to make this right. I feel taken advantage of.
