Everyone deserves to take a vacation, however the business owner/lash artist should also consider accommodating their client when they report losing multiple lashes in one week because their over due for a fill! Verses expecting them to wait over a week until their next scheduled appointment! I was told " I have nothing, I'm really busy fitting people in since my vacation". "I absolutely appreciate you, I appreciate all my ladies to the fullest". "I just wish there were more hours in the day". After receiving that response via email, I felt far from an appreciated customer who always kept scheduled appointments, referred others and left a generous gratuity in her hand every two weeks! If you decide to use this studio please have a back-up lash artist on speed dial because you will NOT get worked in with Sheila unless she's reworking her schedule prior to going on a whimsical vacation! WOW! Notice the chunky clumps of lashes in my photo below? For those of you reading the raving reviews following mine about the wonderful lash retention this handful of people experience after a little gossip session with Sheila. FYI ~ Sure adding copious amounts of glue to clumps of lashes verses individually placing them will most definitely make the lashes stay on but it's not healthy for your natural lashes. I always wondered why my eyelids were so puffy/itchy at times and how she was able to do a fill in 45 minutes. It took my new lash artist a while to remove the glue clumps! I wanted something curlier and she said no because my white hair would frizz. I only have white hair around my face - the rest of it is brown. She also put WAY MORE hair in one roller than I thought she should. I got a perm twice a year - EVERY YEAR - from 1976 til about 1992. I also like a stylist that will talk to me a bit. The stylist I've had couldn't wait to get away from me and to her phone or whatever else. I DID get 2 perms (that pretty much fell out 3 months in) but I won't be returning to this salon. If I'm going to drop $250+ - I'd like to get what I want and have my stylist actually talk to me a bit.

I have been seeing Gaosue as my hairstylist for about 2 years, but will no longer be using her…read moreservices due to a series of unfortunate business practices that she has employed. I scheduled an appointment with her for a full balayage service on my grown out hair. Prior to my appointment I had sent her an inspo picture and when she was finished it was way darker than I had expected. I was immediately unhappy with the results, and contacted her within 14 days, expressing my dissatisfaction. She assured me to just use a purple shampoo and to wait for the toner to fade out and that the color would correct itself, this did not happen. I continued to contact her the next few days, explaining that the color was not changing, and by that time, 7 days had passed, and she told me that due to her policy, she would not fix my hair for free, she offered to fix my "money piece" for free. and I would need to pay for a color correction. I tried to be understanding and decided to give her another chance. She squeezed me into her schedule, rushed through it, and wasn't able to allocate the time necessary for my hair to process. As a result, the top half of my hair didn't develop properly and the appointment concluded, leaving me with brassy orange in my hair as opposed to blonde (see pictures below). Keep in mind, this was after she fixed it. I scheduled a new balayage service with her months later and shortly after, I contracted COVID. Despite quarantining for two full weeks, I continued to test positive, and so I reached out to her at least half a week in advance of my appointment, with these details, asking to cancel the appointment until further notice, and requested that she refund my deposit. She refused to work with me, stating that a policy is a policy, and that rescheduling, even this far in advance, would be a strike against me, and she refused to return my money. She has been extremely unprofessional and is not very understanding. As someone who works in the beauty industry myself, I would not recommend working with her for hair services.

The gels began peeling off my fingers within days!! Days! I've never had that happen! The response I got- "oh, you must wash your hands a lot." What? That shouldn't be a factor. You should be able to wash your hands! And open your wallet, and pick up nickels for all I care. They redid my nails free of charge- which took an hour to do so. Which also began to peel off about a week after. Don't go. As previously mentioned in other reviews, it's a back of the ways location, with difficult entry into the parking area. The chairs for hair services were mostly empty. Minimal waxing and tanning services available. You'll find better quality service probably closer to your own home.

WOW! Where do I begin?…read more Let's start with the atmosphere! The place is gorgeous. It's been beautifully designed with a lot of elegance. It smelled amazing when I walked in and all the jewelry and products were very visually appealing. They sold many good quality jewelry and luxury products. The staff was all so welcoming, fun, beautiful, and very talented. They made the experience very comfortable. I had my very first airbrush experience and left feeling so happy and flawless. I couldn't get over the fact of how natural my makeup was and how light it was. I had such a wonderful experience I decided to have Kess do a brow lamination for me. Again, this is a new treatment for me and I was blown away. I didn't realize I actually had that many brow hairs. The lamination came with a brow tint and she definitely perfected the color. She asked if I would like a scalp massage while the treatment sat on my brows and that definitely elevated my experience.
