Refused to provide service because I have fair skin and "there's red in (my) hair." Ummm my grandfather was a red head...so...okay. Gaslit me over and over because they could not keep their story straight about what the problem was. The owner very purposefully kept mentioning her "5 years of experience. " As if I'm supposed to be impressed by entry level experience. Condescendingly suggested multiple times that they were sure I could find someone in the Cities who would do the service, as if they have high standards??? Clearly they're unwilling to take on anything more difficult than a textbook case. If I had gone to a few tanning sessions, they wouldn't have even noticed one pink spot on my skin...but since they seemed poorly versed in dermatology, they just kept doubling down on blaming me for their lack of skill. Worst of all, had the nerve to suggest I reach back out to them. Why??? If my skin is just so allegedly beyond their ability and they cannot do anything about it, what good would further discussion do? I was just terrified by their gaslighting (I have C-PTSD) So I will gladly take my money to a real professional. I am glad I dodged a bullet. Perhaps if they're so intimidated by translucent skin, they should offer to book consultations rather than make me wait 2 months, take a day off work I can't afford, for nothing. Please avoid this fly-by-night, and seek real professionals. As far my rosacea, as I explained multiple times to them, I was diagnosed with type B on my CHEEKS only 2 weeks ago, so lauding forms from 8 weeks ago over my head is irrelevant. I was -never- verbally abusive!! They're just stooping to slander to attempt to hide the truth. I was crying and they gaslit me for it, and now are caught with their pants down. Shame on them. It's really embarrassing for you to claim I terrorized you?!?! (Wow, actual slander) and play the small business card, when you give small businesses a bad name. I reached out to Stacy about a year ago for a consultation to get my eyebrows done but as life happens I wasn't able to at that time any longer. This year I have the time to get the procedure done but my attempts to contact Stacy are being ignored and unanswered -- first attempt was via text message and second attempt was calling and leaving a voicemail. It's pretty obvious that she doesn't want my business here but I'm shocked by the lack of professionalism; as this studio was recommended to me for their outstanding services and customer satisfaction. Lastly, I did not schedule an appointment and cancel last minute. I simply reach out to get a consultation for a patch test due to allergies/skin sensitivity before moving forward with the procedure -- which I would have gladly paid her for the time spent and product used -- it's really disappointment to not be valued as a consumer. read more

Emily Panten is SO skilled, knowledgeable, careful, and professional. My mom has no eyebrows left, and I wasn't sure what could be done. Emily went out of her way to answer my questions when I first contacted her via email. While we were waiting for our appointment, a younger woman was leaving. Emily had just finished microblading her, and the results were stunning--not an exaggeration. My mom and I were impressed. My mom's skin is fragile and Emily took the time to explain the best approach for fragile skin. We are incredibly happy with the results. Money well spent. Jonelle really is amazingly talented and also incredibly sweet and professional to work with, which were additionally very important to me. I researched microblading studios for a little over a year before deciding on Jonelle and would highly recommend her to anyone! The process is not as painful as I thought it would be and she breaks down after care to ensure your brows heal up nicely. She is SUCH a perfectionist and made sure at both my initial appointment and my touch up that I was completely happy and had no questions. She made herself available to me in between our appointments and is just genuine and really great to work with. I travelled almost 8 hours to Jonelle's studio and it was way worth it. Stacy is a true artist! For as long as I can remember, I've been completely obsessed with my eyebrows -- in a bad way. Getting my brows bladed and shaded by Stacy is easily one of the best decisions I've ever made, mostly because I feel like I've finally been set free. I feel confident leaving the house without any makeup now, and when I do apply makeup, I'm done 30 minutes sooner. A word of caution: Your eyebrows will look nothing like the finished result at the end of the appointment. When Stacy first handed me the mirror, I almost burst into tears because of how dramatic they looked. But now I'm three weeks healed and I have never felt more beautiful. My advice is to relax and trust your artist. If you work with Stacy, you will be unbelievably happy at the end. read more

Horrible Service from Jonelle Salzman: For the amount of money she charges ($700) you'd think she could provide better client experience; it was my first time to receive any type of tattoo, and was very nervous about putting permanent ink on my face; I researched and decided on microblading with a professional that knows how to do it, even if it means paying $700 for that service. I went for my first appointment on Nov 2020, and Jonelle told me right off bat that microblading will not work bec of my skin type (I'm Asian - she didn't ask me what my skin type is), that it will not be feathery and wispy-like (like what was touted on her website). She said she can do "powder" on me - I don't remember what "powder" was so I asked to see pictures, and I have questions --- I was made to feel she has no time for vanity questions that I had (for someone in the business of vanity), and suggested that I can reschedule if I want to think it over; mind you she said this after 10-15 mins of her telling me that she can't do the procedure that I researched for weeks, AND she has $200 reservation fee that she never did say she will release if I reschedule. As I took the day off to get this procedure done, I took the risk of following her recommendation. During the procedure, she asked if I drank coffee that morning and I said yes - she said no coffee bec I am bleeding so much; there was NO email with Before Care prior to my appointment, and no Before Care on her website when I checked prior to my appointment; she told me that it was on the contract that I signed in September (really? who remembers what they read 2 months ago?) After my procedure, she booked my touch-up in 6 weeks (not free, $150 fee); I had to reschedule and saw her yesterday 2/21/22 (3 months after my first procedure). She asked me what I wanted to do during the touch-up bec she remembered that I wanted it as natural as possible, and that I don't need a touch-up if I don't think I need it. How would I know what I wanted during touch-ups when it was my first time back, and she was the one who booked my touch-up in the first place? I asked her what does she typically do during touch-ups? She said it's to fix patchiness with the first tattoo procedure. Duh, then do that! Telling me I don't need a touch-up when you scheduled me for one soon after my first appointment, and after I was already there, took the day-off, does not help. Asking me what I wanted for my very first touch-up session does not help. Jonelle, supposedly the professional, not telling me what she thinks she needs to do during our touch-up, does not help. I got my eyebrows microbladed by Janelle in 2017 and she is one of the most professional artists I have ever met. Her work is flawless and it is absolutely worth it! I started with no eyebrows and she was patient and took the time to explain every step so I felt comfortable. I also received a free touch up for referring a friend. Paid the down payment to hold my spot for a service. Morgan had me send a photo of my brows and over a photo said she would not do them without seeing them in person. Morgan kept my 100$ payment to hold my spot and did not have me come in for my 3 hour appointment that I paid to hold the spot for to even look at them in person. Wouldn't credit the 100$ towards a consult or future appointment. A photo does not justify or show enough to decide you wont work on someone's brows. If there is a blocked off 3 hour appointment and 100$ is paid, look at them in person and give the person the time they have paid for!!!!! Pretty easy to just keep someone's money and write the person off. This is theft to not provide any service. Take the time for customers when they have paid! Build a trusting name! Response: The email I got was the day prior stating to contact and I did as stated!! Sent the photos. A photo does not show enough to deem something. It has been two years since previous microblading. There is nothing left but I was still kind enough to send in a photo. I should have just showed for the money I had paid and gotten a service for what I had paid for!! If she is filling that appointment spot, why would she need to keep someone's money!!! THEFT! Collecting DOUBLE pay! Yes she would let me book again to collect another 100$ down payment! Why would I give someone even more money when they are "unsure" if they could work with my brows? To have more money taken? I would never give more money to bad customer service! read more

I am absolutely obsessed with my brows. I did the blade and shade procedure. I was hesitant at first just because it's a tattoo on your face and the typical fear of "what if" however Jonelle is AMAZING. My brows look so natural and perfect. She is so sweet and professional. I was extremely disappointed with my experience in even trying to book an appointment here . I felt Jonelle was condescending and as professional as a 2 year old . She acted like she was so exclusively talented that it was far below her to do a touch up on my brows even though they were done by a phi brow trained artist . What they don't tell you is that you need color boosts and touch ups so I hope you never lose your artist as you may not get a warm reception if you move to another city. I booked online as it says Make an appointment but was promptly notified that I needed to email each artist and ask if they would consider me as another artist had done the initial work . I am really sorry but I thought getting under the umbrella of phi brow would be a good idea for future touch ups . She set me straight and accused me of harassing her because I asked for my refund .
