Her work always last a month or more on me, which means that she uses high quality lashes and adhesives. She is very experienced in this field, yet she is very humble about it. She is passionate about her work and the business she has build over the years despite being a busy mom also. I call her super mom! She listens to her customers and she takes the time to explain and evaluate options with them with no pressure at all. Her customer service and response time is good also. The business is located in a cute little house on Grand ave with a designated parking section for her customers. The lashes she uses are not super synthetic looking (like many places I've seen and have been been to) and look like natural lashes. I decided not to get a fill to see how long they would last and it was about a month before my eyelashes started looking really sad. The space was cozy, simple and clean. I typed in "Bare bone beauty" in my google maps and it was her old location hence I was 30min late to my appointment but I texted her beforehand if I can still show up, and she was still able to accept me. After her service, my lashes looked like I curled them and my left eye was half curled & half barely lifted. She said after the 24hr when the nourishment wears off, my lashes will look more lifted. I left believing her. 48hrs passed, I kept my lashes dry and they still looked the same. I texted her. Didn't receive a response. Texted her the following day. Didn't receive a response. Then after 3 days finally she responds. Basically blaming me for being 30mins late, and I told her I already paid the late fee and that I wish she would've communicated to me that she didn't have enough time to fully lift my lashes and do a good service. I already paid the late fee & if she knew she wouldn't have enough time, she should've just rescheduled me or declined me that day. She usually plays music while doing my lashes, which I love. Since I'm often rushing or squeezing in an appointment during my workday, this has become my little moment to unwind. Sometimes I fall asleep. She provides blankets and a comfortable chair, making it a cozy experience. There's usually some kind of deal going on, which is super nice given how expensive everything is these days. No complaints at all--I'm just so happy I found her. I received the reply wherein she said I was the worst experience in 4 years of business. Then hours later she posted replies making it seem like she was 100% trying to rectify the situation. Did she offer half off, yes. Was I unable to take her up on that offer? Yes. Did I post my reviews in fear of my card being charged even though she was a no call no show because of a review from another woman who stated Alison didn't show up and her card was charged $375, so I made sure to protect myself best I could from that happening?
