    I just had the rudest experience with the front desk help at the Plymouth Reflect Salon, The young…read morewoman at the desk would not listen to me about a mis-marked item they had on the display signage. I was just trying to tell her that the price marked on display was different than the price she was going to charge me (which was on the bottom of the item)....but instead, she just wanted to argue and NOT listen to me first. HOW Rude!! Will NOT be going back. I don't have to purchase my products there. Pet peeve of mind...that customer service people just start talking and do not completely listen to the customer before then start with a genuine considerate answer. (I did not go here for a hair service)

    i advise everyone to NEVER GO THERE. i was treated like crap…read morebecause i was 10 min late. i was told i will leave with my hair wet. i accepted that cause it was on me. Maddy was so rude the whole visit. when i called to make another appointment after 6 weeks, I was told there is a note that they can't book an appointment for me and that i need to speak to the manager. when i spoke to him, I was told they made a company decision not to have me as one of their clients!! I have never heard of this before. I felt so insulted. I would understand if i committed something bad, to be treated like this. I have had Maddy for 3 years and was only few times (very very few) 5-10 min and everytime I was, she would say? i can't cut your hair today, we will only color, or i can't highlight today, i will only do root touch up, so she was never late for her next appointment. the fact that the manager handled it this way is more horrible. I understand wanting to support your employee but this is not right nor justifiable. I found another place that is so much better and I would NEVER RECOMMEND NEW REFLECTION TO ANYONE SINCE THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS. what a shame!!!!!!

    I am sad to write this review but figured it's good information to share with others…read more I read a lot of reviews and I made an appointment with "stylist A", about a month in advance. The day of the appointment I got a call from someone else (stylist B) saying that she was running 20 min behind and asked if I could come 20 min later than scheduled, I said sure and that's what I did. I get there and stylist B greets me, this is when I realized she isn't the person I booked with, based on the picture. She said "your haircut is now with Stylist C and pointed to another woman standing by the desk. I had no choice in the matter and was already very annoyed but the switch ups but didn't feel like I could say no, plus I needed a haircut. Let's just say I was less than thrilled with stylist C and the haircut I ended up with. Also very unhappy with how unprofessional stylist B was, she never mentioned she is taking over my appointment, and she called to change the appointment time and was still unavailable. I also want to mention that I emailed the salon sharing my disappointment and have not heard back at all.. no apology, explanation or anything. So if you have a preference for a stylist make sure they don't change things up on you! Very disappointing customer service.

It's particularly troubling that neither the owner nor anyone in authority has had the decency to address my negative experience directly. The baseless attacks on my character are unacceptable, and it's disheartening to see lies and opinions spread publicly without any attempt to understand my side of the story. I want to share my incredibly distressing experience at Lua Nova Salon. I walked in excited for a new hairstyle, having shown the stylist a picture of what I wanted--a long bob (LOB) with layers. However, from the very first cut, I sensed something was off. The stylist next to mine reacted with wide eyes, looking back and forth between my hair and the floor, which immediately raised my concerns. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed as the stylist butchered my hair. Instead of the layers I requested, I left with a blunt cut short bob that was nothing like what I had envisioned. To make matters worse, I was asked to leave while still in shock and tears. My distress made the stylist uncomfortable--yes, MY tears over my butchered hair were making HER uncomfortable. I was asked to leave looking like this, which made the situation all the more horrifying. I can't believe I walked into a place where, within 15 minutes, all my hair was chopped off, and I was treated as if I were the issue. I felt dismissed and invalidated during a moment that was deeply personal to me. I cannot express how heartbroken I am over this experience. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. I strongly advise against sitting in Emma Carlson's chair, as my experience with her was nothing short of horrendous. Please be cautious if you decide to visit this salon. What was meant to be a fresh cut to help me take a step forward in overcoming my deep depression has only made things 20 times worse. I hope others have a better experience, but I certainly will not be returning. I will be surprised and blessed if I make it out of this one. This has truly been an absolute nightmare and one of the worst days of my life. The first picture is my hair before I walked in; the second is the picture I showed the stylist for reference. This is what I was kicked out looking like. I'm still crying over this at 9 PM and can't believe this happened. I balled up what hair is left and put it underneath a barbell cap, topped with a hooded sweatshirt. I can't even look in the mirror. My head is throbbing from how much crying I've done.     Deceptive Conduct- Charging over quoted amount. Unprofessional…read more The stylist Hanna ordered hair extensions for me claiming they were Remi real hair extensions, after my first wash 6 days into the extensions the hair tangled and matted into knots. I had to cut prices off. I was embarrassed to go out, I would straighten it and with in 5 minutes it would matt's . It is not Remi hair, she charged $400 for the hair. I had asked her after my consultation how much money should I take out of the bank for the extensions and she said $300 but charged me $400. At my hair appointment she provided me with a shampoo and conditioner in one box and an oil. Gave me no instructions on how to care for my new hair extensions. When I messaged her to ask her what I should use she kept telling me to use a product that was never given to me. She didn't believe me that I didn't have the product so She told me to take pictures of the box and send it to her and her response was 'Well use whatever I gave you.' So she charged me for a product that I never got. The way she responds to messages are very unprofessional. She switches back-and-forth on dates and times of services. I messaged her for proof of purchase of the hair. She stated it was from Bellamy Professional that it is real hair. I contacted the company to tell them about the poor quality of their product they told me that the stylist has to reach out to them. I messaged Hanna again telling her that I wanted a receipt emailed to me. She told me that I would have to wait until Monday (the next day) for her to contact the company for her to provide it. Having your own salon you should have records/receipts of what you purchase and she wouldn't provide me with that. I responded Monday at 6 PM asking where the email was and she never responded. Total cost of the 2 weft hair extensions was $900. Its Tuesday afternoon and still no response.

    The salon seemed to be dirty the past few times I have came in. The trash was overflowing, there…read morewas trash on the desk area and on the floor next to the hair salon chair. Even on the evaluation sheet that she has hanging by the front door, from the state board, states she had failed the sanitary portion in the past year. The hair stylist, Hannah, was also talking bad about her previous clients. An example of what she talked about was how X (we will call the client X for privacy), had not taken care of herself and she looked like a "slob" coming in. She then started discussing how hard it was to fix the patients "disastrous mess on her head" and continued on how X should learn how to care for herself so she "can stop coming in as a mess". It was very unprofessional on how she was talking about the clients that support her small business. I felt terrible for X for not being able to defend herself. It is against HIPPA and OSHA standards for any professional to discuss clients to other clients/business partners. Thankfully I have photos to prove the condition that the salon was in and had sent it to the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology. After reviewing the reviews that Beautyholic Salon has, I noticed there are a few other people who wrote equivalent reviews as mine stating a dirty salon and a unprofessional hair stylist throughout a few review sites. Overall I am very disappointed. It seemed like a very cute small business.
