The quality of service and product and employees make the drive to Blaine worth it for me. I've been to this salon for hair cuts, coloring services, manicures, massages and facials and have really enjoyed those services. I highly recommend Lisa for a facial, not only because she is super nice and helpful, but if you look at her own skin, you'll understand that she really knows her stuff when it comes to skin care because her skin is gorgeous. I also am a big fan of Michael for hair services, he's awesome. [EDITED to note that this policy I mention here is no more - yay!]: The only downside that gets them only 4 stars, is that they changed their policy recently and now only accept cash for tips and I find that to be a huge inconvenience because I never carry cash. So having to try to remember to bring cash when I go there just doesn't happen, and then I get put into an awkward position when it comes time to pay. They are the only salon I've been to that has this policy and I think it stinks. But if you can get past that, this salon is really great!

The experience was so much fun, so relaxing, and I loved that the bed/chair? Was heated! I was warned of the post treatment burning sensation and of the possibility of inflammation. Those both happened to a degree which I don't feel I was warned about. On day 6, I developed what I thought was a rash/infection by my mouth. I contacted my doctor since it was a Sunday, and was advised to be seen in person. Turned out that I had gotten shingles (I have been vaccinated)! I was prescribed an Antiviral as well as some ointment. I had also sent an email to Belladerm. They did contact me on Monday and offered to call in a prescription for an Antiviral. I feel like some sort of partial refund for the issue would have been an appropriate gesture. I will say that my skin tone from the treatment is a little better, but not TWO THOUSAND dollars better (plus the cost of the doctors visit and prescriptions). It was not money well spent. I did learn my lesson.

The space is very small/cramped. The room I was put in was directly opposite the door to the lobby, so there was a lack of privacy there. Additionally, the window in the exam room was not covered by a shade or blind, which again is a lack of privacy when the patient has to dress and undress. The lobby itself was clean but cramped and not much room to move past other patients
