For girls who wear hijab or headscarf, this place checks to see if anyone who does not identify as a female is working or will be in as a customer at the same time. They also add a little partition for your comfort. The price is very reasonable and I had a little light hand massage, cut, color and style for the price of a haircut in most places. Very professional staff and will be exclusively coming here from now on for hair.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professional courtesy and customer appreciation at…read morethis salon, specifically from stylist Valerie. I have been a returning client of Valerie's for several sessions and have always been a generous client who tips well, as I genuinely wanted to support her business. This morning, I had an unexpected work emergency and unfortunately missed my scheduled appointment. I completely understand salons have policies, and I immediately had the front desk communicate with Valerie to reschedule for the nearest available slot, offering to pay the fee toward my next appointment as a deposit. To my shock, Valerie completely refused to accommodate an established client. Not only did she insist on charging the full amount for a missed session due to an emergency, but she also had the front desk tell me she would have "no availability for the next few weeks"--a petty, punitive gesture toward a loyal customer. While businesses have rules, they also require basic human understanding and professional flexibility for returning clients. Valerie chose a one-time penalty over long-term customer loyalty. I will not be returning to this salon, and I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you value a stylist who treats clients with mutual respect and professionalism.

I've been a EWC client for years (Roseville, Coon Rapids) and am so happy to have a location in my…read morecity. My first appt at this locationwas last month during their Grand opening. Today was my second visit with my wax specialist, Sara. She's warm, personable and knows her stuff. She had a shadow with her last month but today she was by herself. At both appts she did a mini consult (eyebrows) to make sure what I wanted with my shape. We have a game plan going forward to grow them out. Before and after treatment I was handed a mirror to point out areas that need attention and also to approve the final results. Waxing is not completely pain free but it's way more bearable compared to waxing at a hair salon. I typically use powder to fill in my brows. She showed me new products they offer to help with fly away hairs (eyebrow gel). They also offer baby powder and calming cream after your waxing service. After I was done, I was escorted back to the lobby to get preappointed and potentally leave gratuity. Making an appt is easy by phone or app. I purchase a service package and preappt for $$ perks. I get billed in 3 installments for Buy 9, Get 3 free...and then I'm good for the year. I get text confirmations and appt reminders. Due to covid, they prefer that you text when you arrive and wait in your car until your wax specialist is available. The facility is clean and modern. White walls/ floors with pops of red and black. Each room is similar. There is a stool, shelf and hook in the corner to place your belongings. There is a long table to lay on, with paper liner for cleanliness between clients. Even though it's a flat table, I find it relaxing to just lie back and close my eyes and get pampered.

I've been going to this place, Tu Nails, for pedicures in Blaine for years…read more Always a good experience. Prices have been raised significantly through the years. I used to go several times a year for a pedicure. With the very high pedicure prices now, I only go when I'm getting ready to leave on a vacation, once a year. What brings me to writing this review, twice now, I've been charged extra for having my toes polished with more than just one color. I like to color my second toe on each foot a different color. It's been the same lady each time , charging me extra. Never, had any of the other ladies , in all my years, charged me extra for polishing my toes with more than one color. Is it more costly to polish one toe with another polish? Is it that much more work ? Is it more time consuming? Is it that bothersome? I wanted to ask for my tip back, to cover for the extra charge. How about a bottle of water or a can of pop to cover that extra charge? (They never offer a bottle of water or can of pop either!) From now on, if I see that I have that same lady, that feels the need to charge extra for two toes to be polished a different color, I will ask for someone else, or just leave.

I was not aware of what I was getting or what was going on my skin. The massage was ok, but the spa music was playing on Sarah's phone and her phone kept buzzing, interrupting the music...not the most professional. I also did not appreciate her making comments about my body. I get it might be a cultural thing but saying I am "so skinny! You must be less than XXX pounds!"
